This was handled so badly that it will only grow. Given time it will lead to bloodshed.
The other 99%.
Wait until the Muslims take over parts of major cities. I suppose white people just need to pack up and leave. Problem is there’s nowhere to run anymore.
Let me see if I have this right. If you are an Occupooper, hairy, stinky, non-contributing parasite who breaks the law you are tolerated, BUT if you are hard working, law-biding contributor to society pointing out the racist policies of the government, you are arrested. Hmm, I see the trend here. If you look dangerous, or at the very least troublesome, then you are spared the indignity of arrest. Perhaps when the good guys give in to their basest instincts the law will be just as deferential? Is this really where we need to go?
How often have I explained? Not showing up to riot is a failed Conservative policy.
Ontario worries me. At this rate how soon until we again hear that the West wants out?
I have followed this whole sordid affair from the beginning, yet it still begs the question…WTF?
“””Not showing up to riot is a failed Conservative policy.””””
there is a shortage of conservatives, so riots are out for now
I put this under comments in the National Post:
Every time these ball-less politically correct cowards ignore this one sided injustice to common sense they empower the indians to push the limits just that little bit farther. Pay now or pay later….but sooner or later it will come down to who is in charge. So far it has not been McGuinty or the OPP. Gutless wonders:
This nonsense has been going on for years now and one gets the impression that if McGuinty ignores it long enough, it will go away. It only guarantees bigger headaches later.
Law, and Order, are outmoded concepts.
The Indians want the land, more than the whites do.
Muslims want the country, more than Canadians do.
They are willing to battle in the streets.
You aren’t.
That why they arrest YOU, and not them.
It’s as simple as that.
I fear thst when the brown people are in charge, they will not be as benevolent to us as we have been to them. It’s pretty much that way now, with the help of our weak-kneed governments.
What a bloody disgrace! Two tiered justice in all it’s nauseating glory… one for indians, and whatever “special” group is next (muslims), and one for white people. The diabolical Trudeauvian State… “sowing the seeds of destruction”.
Knight 99- I’m gonna hide in plain sight, wear a rag on my head, learn how to chant in their language.
They call them leaders, I call them stupid. History doesn’t provide any example of nice resolution to the situation when the resentment against minority in a society grows and grows…and grows.
Here’s a novel idea; charge the Ontario porcine perverts (OPP) with committing a hate crime. The only reason these 8 men were arrested was the color of their skin. It would take a lawyer with some balls to do this but it’s time to put a stop to the racist policies of the OPP.
To demonstrate the racist policies, it would just be necessary to pay a few Indians to smash up a police car in Caledonia and observe the speed of response. My guess is that either nothing would happen or the Indians would get off without any legal penalties because of their experiences with “systematic racism”. Two can play at this game.
Interesting that no such illegal occupations happen in the US.
Caledonia, the spate of Islamist “Honour Killings, subsidized ethnic street gangs, it’s “Holy War” against hunters, et al force me to conclude that Ontario is a failed state, sort of like Somalia.
The police are not your friends anymore. They have become the tools of a Government that has nothing but contempt for its citizens . This is the act of an hereditary aristocracy. Thats steals from its most productive while undermining them, thinking themselves superior. Its always been like this when a group ceases all Monies, than produces nothing. They begin to resent than hate the ones who they take from. Ontario is finished as a free Province.

Nah, when good people see that there is nothing left to lose, they will stand up. Of course by then we can ascertain that ‘things will never be as they were”. Really how could anyone think the looming western disaster can be fully averted? The only questions are when and how bad.
Ok, fine, then western conservatives work with what we have and move forward. In the end we will thrive, the universal laws of common sense will prevail, it simply boils down to how low does it go and how hard will you be forced to bite in.
What Dystopian Optimist @ December 5, 2011 12:39 AM said – bullies like and rely on submission to maintain their power base.

“At this rate how soon until we again hear that the West wants out?”
How about right now!
My next vote will go to the WRP, with the expectation that we will be moving away from the Toronto/ Montreal insanity that rules my life. I’m not alone, and by god if they don’t succeed in filling our ranks with Liberalized Third World drones as they have been for the last decade, we will make our own damned place to live on this earth, ours to live in peace and on our terms.
The Province of Ontario has issued a decoration called the Caledonia Cross – it will be awarded to officers who exhibit the outstanding resolute inactivity the OPP did at Caledonia.
The ribbon is yellow with a brown streak down the middle, and former Commissioner-turned-MP Julian Fantino is the first recipent.
What a juxtaposition.
Earlier this week, the media could not report loud enough or often enough, the plight of the natives on a northern Ontario reserve. Yet nary a peep about the ongoing occupation that has resulted in a sw-Ontario town living in a state of seige, under the constant threat of terrorists that have been empowered by the provincial government and abbeted by the OPP.
Just a guess, but Im thinking that had the natives decided there was a “traditional” claim in say St James park in Toronto, Mcguinty would have made sure the natives where long gone five years ago.

Aye. My great-uncle worked in Ottawa around 1900 installing sewer works in Rockliffe Park. It was obvious that the site had been occupied/used by Indians for a long time. They excavated burial sites.
I’m waiting for the day the ‘warriors’ occupy Rockliffe Park.
This is a disgrace. However, Ontario voters had the chance to punt that moron you’ve got for a premier and didn’t. Good luck to the non native protesters…get this to the supreme court if you can. Maybe you can get Christmas back into your school at the same time…not that we’re a country founded on a christian background or anything.
Loki @2:04 – absolutely. This is clearly illegal and they need to hit back. Not suing the @ss off the government is a failed conservative policy.
What a great title, Kate!
How dare they walk on a piece of land they’ve paid for!
Proud Western Canadian, Ontario voters did not vote McLiar back in, Toronto did. As usual when working for my Conservative candidate in Toronto the massive number of public employees and their greed in making sure their obscene benefits continue ensures that Toronto will remain a Liberal city. When you have $10 million from public unions and a low voter turnout, which I blame Hudak for, the vested interests will prevail.
These people were arrested because they didn’t go about their protest in the approved fashion. They should have manufactured kassam rockets, and launched them at Indian encampments. According to the trendy liberals, that is “protected speech” when palis do it.
I’ve just sent the following to Dalton McGuinty:
Premier
You claim, “I’m always looking for new ideas on how to make Ontario an even better place to live and work.”
I’m pleased to help.
What about the total breakdown of the rule of law in Caledonia? Your government’s complicity in racist police and public policy there is despicable, one of the many reasons I haven’t voted for your party—and won’t.
Mr. McGuinty, you have an obligation to ALL the citizens of Ontario, not just certain protected groups, who appear to be above the law. Your responsibility is to protect the freedoms and rights of all of us. From what I can see, fine, tax-paying, law abiding citizens of this province (many of British/European descent) get the (jack)boot, while thugs and bullies of other cultures, whose understanding of law and order seems to be based on tribalism, rather than Magna Carta, are given a pass. It’s clear that you and your government are confused about which system is the more just, and the more likely to produce “peace, order, and good government”.
I’m a direct descendent of the Hon. Robert Baldwin of “Responsible Government” repute. (Not “fame”, I’m afraid, as the Ontario education system isn’t too keen on promoting our province’s British heritage: another black mark for your government, as far as I’m concerned.) Re treating all the citizens of Ontario fairly, your government has not been responsible. Until each and every one of us is treated “without fear or favour”, I’ll consider your government to be delinquent.
It’s about time that troublemakers in bandanas (and other face and head coverings: e.g., stop Muslim prayers in our public schools and polygamy welfare payments) were expected—like the rest of us—to live within the law of the land.
The uncertainty and ill will caused by your government’s favouritism is eating away at the order and good will needed for a healthy society to function well.
You and your cowardly and unprincipled government need to STOP ENABLING THE BULLIES, who function outside the law, by intimidation, extortion, destruction of property, assault, and other forms of law breaking. Like any other citizen of this province, they need to be held to account for their criminal behaviour. Now THAT would “make Ontario an even better place to live and work”. It’s about time.
In disappointment
I could be wrong but did the Caledonia area not re-elect a Liberal MPP to “represent” them?
What is up with that?
What puzzles me is how powerful aboriginals seem to be when they are such a miniscule percentage of a population of 10 million people. I assume it’s done to curry votes in Toronto and Ottawa.
For comparison, aboriginals are expected to be 20 per cent of Saskatchewan’s population by 2015, and I’m sure various politicians will try to get votes out of that number. But I doubt anybody will be a spineless as mcguinty.
Way back in 1993 when I was studying anthropology in University, I mentioned matter-of-factly to one of my professors that certain Aboriginal groups such as the Mohawks had connections with Communist Governments. The Prof laughed at me and said: “Natives are not communists”. I shrugged my shoulders and walked away — of course Natives aren’t communists, that wasn’t the point: I have never considered Natives to be communists, but Karl Marx in fact did.
Marx in the “Commmunist Manifesto” considered tribal peoples to be the first communists, and as a result Communist governments have often targeted Natives and attempted to manipulate them for subversive revolutionary purposes free democracies. I personally witnessed that process back in the ’80’s when Cuban advisors were dispatched the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua in support of the communist FSLN government for the purpose of “communizing” the Native tribes.
Well, here’s a heads-up from 2011; Canadian Mohawks have established economic relations with communist Cuba to develop a golf course there. According to the report, the Mohawks “share much in common with [communist] Cuba” and their admiration for Castro goes back many years:
http://standing-feather.ca/cubanews.pdf
my comment should have read:
“…and as a result Communist governments have often targeted Natives and attempted to manipulate them for subversive revolutionary purposes AGAINST free democracies…”
ricardo
“…and as a result Communist governments have often targeted Natives and attempted to manipulate them for subversive revolutionary purposes AGAINST free democracies…”
My take on communists is they are Russians first communists second, same with the CHIcoms, Cubans, and in IndoChina a traditional, culteral policy of exterminating the H’mong….
Plus, a tip for our security people (I’m expecting a cheque in the mail for this one):
Jorge Sorger, openly Communist professor from Argentina teaching at Mac. U., liason for visiting Cuban communist officials in academia, coincidentally advocate for radical Mohawks in Caledonia.
And to my Native friends interested in truth:
It should never be forgotten that when the communist FSLN and their Cuban advisors attempted genocide against the tribal peoples of Nicaragua during the ’80’s — including the massacre on the Coco River 1981-82 — the Akwesasne Mohawks OFFICIALLY TOOK THE SIDE OF THE COMMUNISTS instead of their murdered Native brothers in Nicaragua. This is documented historical fact. The Communist end-game is to first radicalize then indoctrinate and subjugate Natives, not to liberate them.
“I personally witnessed that process back in the ’80’s when Cuban advisors were dispatched the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua in support of the communist FSLN government for the purpose of “communizing” the Native tribes.”
As usual the communists were racist bastards. The people east coast of Nicaragua were an English speaking black/native mix with a Caribbean culture. They were never part of the Spanish culture but the British abandoned them in 1894.

Interesting points.
There are allot of examples of this in history if you think about it, validating your points.
What it amounts to is police and government too intimidated by special interest criminals to enforce the law. If it weren’t so Orwellian it would be pathetic. And the morons voted this bag od scat back in. Ontario true acts like a 3rd world corrupt state. You get the government you deserve – enjoy, you dopes.
Well, Dalton at least lost some ground this time. His Libs are a minority government now, which could (theoretically) be overturned.
I think the plan McHale and company have is to get arrested over and over and over again, each time with a bigger crowd in attendance. Eventually it will get to court and the charges will be dismissed because they are -illegal-. The OPP can’t do what they are doing.
I notice something interesting though. This is the third OPP Commissioner doing the same thing in Caledonia. First we had Boniface, then Fantino, now the new guy whose name escapes me.
Two improvements: At least the OPP didn’t gratuitously tackle McHale and smack his face into the dirt this time. And they stayed between the protesters and the screaming, rock throwing Indian peckerheads, instead of letting them beat people up and give guys head injuries for holding video cameras. Both those things happened the last time Gary McHale got arrested for being White.
The OPP Command are nothing more than McGuinty’s lackey.
Don’t blame the front-line officers. They are being directed by their political masters.
Trust me, the vast majority of officers don’t like this any more than we do.
We let this happen, therefore, it happened.
Caledonia should have been handled on DAY ONE. In any other country, that is exactly how it would have been handled.
Trust me, the vast majority of officers don’t like this any more than we do.

Excluding the big cheques, free dental, eyeglasses, prescriptions, cell phone usage while driving, never getting a speeding ticket and retirement at 50 we’ll take your word for it.
“aboriginals are expected to be 20 per cent of Saskatchewan’s population by 2015, and I’m sure various politicians will try to get votes out of that number”
The NDP have already taken that step prior to November’s election. Check out the on again, off again NDP policy on the sharing of resource revenue with First Nations. This idiotic, blatant voter bait is so moronic that even some of the socialists disagree with it. Hopefully the natives will see that a strong economy is their best ticket to prosperity. The Sask Party can provide that. The NDP cannot.
Dick said: “Don’t blame the front-line officers. They are being directed by their political masters.

I’ve talked to a lot of the OPP guys. What you say is true.
Trouble is they’re still taking Dalton’s money. So all the protestations that they don’t like it… it falls kinda flat, you know? They may not like following illegal orders, it but sure as hell they’re going to DO it.
Herein lies the problem we face.
