  1. The Left claims it is ‘free speech’, which is what the Tea Party is all about.
Except the Left asserts that assault, vandalism and assorted other criminal acts, — when exercised in support of the Left — is just another form of free speech.

  2. It reminded me of Monty Python’s “Life of Brian” when John Cleese is asking his fellow zealots what the Romans have done for them. Ten minutes later they’re still coming up with things to add to the list. Likewise for Obambam, the Occupy crowd is just like the Tea Party except for . . .

  3. The Occupy crowd are human garbage. Nothing more. They are fine with living in their own filth and living off other people’s money. No pride, no self esteem, no self respect, no future. And they want to save the world? Wow.

  4. It all depends on whose ox is getting gored….
To Ali Bama the TEA PARTYs are offensive…
He gives the criminal, violent, lice ridden, diseased OWS a pass but has heard that “some folks” are offended by OWS…
Then there is the inconvenient truth that OWS is not projecting an image the Dems seek to project….and it’s election year. Their astro-turf campaign went out of (their) control…

  5. Sounds like a contest.
Just how many differences can you think of?
The kicker is that the truth about these occupations is beginning to show, and for all the usual suspects that decided to run out in front of this parade are in danger of getting run down by it.

  6. Understanding this strange and dangerous man is way beyond my abilities. I can’t define him or his behaviour and yet…I worry for the American people.

  7. the OWS group have shown in under a month why most of us are glad we developed civilization. So rape isn’t a common risk, so preventable diseases are rare, so the commons can be enjoyed by the population at large, why personal hygiene is a good idea, why sanitation is a good idea…. the list goes on. Those who will not learn from history (especially parts that are no longer taught in school) are condemned to repeat it.

  8. The Tea Party really threw a wrench into the Dem/Obama/Media narrative that was to accompany this long planned Occupy Movement – simply by the Tea Party coming into existence.
The Occupy movement was not a reaction cooked up by the left to somehow blunt the effectiveness of the TeaParty, the Occupy movement was a critical piece of the Obama re-election campaign that was planned some time ago.
The emergence of the Tea Party -a true grassroots movement dedicated to returning control of America to the people – disarmed the effectiveness of the planned Occupy movement by not only pre-empting it, but by also establishing a level of positive public protest and engagement that was completely antithetical to what had already been planned by the Dems.
In my opinion that is why the media reaction to the Tea Party was so swift and vicious – because the Tea Party had occupied the space reserved for the Occupy movement. As such they had to be destroyed to make room for the already globally choreographed AstroTurf movement.
And because the left is built on lies like the occupy movement, they are forced to see them through no matter how badly they go off the rails. It’s all they have, and they are now forced to try to validate this movement because they – and Obama – own it. Every single drug addled, overdosing, diseased, public defacating, raping, looting and assaulting bit of it.

  9. “In some ways, aaah, they’re(OWS)not that different from, aah, some of the protests we saw, ah, coming from the Tea Party.”
    ~Barack(Blank Cheque) Obama
The ‘aaahs’ are where the details of the ways, differences, and the reasons for protesting should be described by Obama but never are.
Obama, short on details but big on CONFLATION.

With Leftists the details never really emerge until after you trust them, …then it’s too late.

  10. Soon the economic toilet will flush, and they will all go away.
It won’t be pretty of course, but “change” will inevitably come.

  11. Channel surfing this morning, Toronto CBC had a lawyer making a legal argument that the Charter right to free speech should supersede trespass law for OWS in Toronto.
The argument was ‘we approve of this kind of free speech, it has good intentions, so don’t evict OWS, using the Charter trumps-all as a basis’.
I’m no lawyer but this seems like awfully thin soup. If accepted, this would be terrible precedence — judges deciding what speech is ‘good’ and what is ‘bad’, and allowing illegal activity to continue based on fuzzy intentions of social good.

  12. Angry OWS supporter refutes this video on Youtube: “Aparently some of you are so stuped; you live life with ratard bliss.”
When you’re denigrating the intelligence of others, nothing makes your point quite like misspelling “stupid” and retard”. Keep the yuks coming please, OWSers!

  13. “Toronto CBC had a lawyer making a legal argument that the Charter right to free speech should supersede trespass law”
Could someone tell me where this lawyer lives?

  14. While the way the OWS protesters are going about their protests shows little respect for others, there is some truth in their some of their message(s). The problem is they do not think for themselves. They drown the good message of honesty in business & gov’t with stupid ideas like ‘spread the wealth’ et al. They are frustrated – but have no way of taking their frustration and logically figuring out the basis for it. A sad statement on our schools and honestly our parenting. The Tea movement is frustrated with many of the basic reasons as OWS but have logically figured out what they are frustrated with and know how to share that message.

  15. Are you kidding me? That was the most one-sided video I’ve ever seen. What a bunch of malarkey. Yes, there are always a few bad apples that ruin it for everyone. However, do your research and try to understand why people are so upset. There is a point to all of the Occupy movements. It’s not an us and them scenario. People are hurting.

  16. Clearvoice: actually it’s the mainstream coverage of your precious “movement” that has been “one-sided”. If it weren’t for the conservative blogs (and the very few conservative-friendly news outlets) NONE of this would have been covered at all.

    BINGO!
There’s nothing but guarded praise on CTV/ CBC. No complete lunatic gushing this time, just encase it really goes bad of course, A little like they were with Libya.
