I just think its heart warming that the French follow their moral obligations to the journalistic profession so closely. For Democrats.

Half right. It’s also about shielding (or not) the audience from things it’s not supposed to know or see — like getting the eyes out of a big dead fish and chopping him into ugly pieces.
