  1. The Jerusalem Post reports that Iranian officials handed a book on Islam to a jailed pastor, and ‘told him they would be back to discuss the material and hear his opinion.’
    Apparently it’s a form of didacticism that’s a little more serious than it sounds:
    “David Parsons, spokesman for the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday the new development is ‘very troubling.’ There need to be ‘three attempts to make him convert to Islam before they can kill him,’ Parsons said. He cited Shari’a Islamic law as the basis for the three attempts rule.”

    And Cain’s fourth accuser from today has some serious baggage that may include a phoney paternity suit. (The MSM sentence is poorly worded.)

  20. CWB is running the Harper SteamRoller TV ad fast & furious here in Ontario, I have seen that TV ad now at least a dozen times(And i only see tv in the evening)
    I would say that here in Ontario a good 90% dont understand what its all about & are Only seeing the CWB version.

  31. Today the mayor of London Ont, ex-lib MP Joe Fontana, went before the assembled media at 10:15 am to advise that at 6:00 pm this evening, the occupiers at Victoria park must have their tents removed, and would be arrested if still present at 10:00 pm.
    As of now, not one cop has shown up to remove anything and the crowd has grown, including a contingent from OPSEU. and ex-lib MP Glen Pearson.

  39. I believe he is too, set you free (12:00); it wasn’t my intention to suggest otherwise, but now that I look at it….
    Sometimes when I introduce songs I say things like “The Guess Who are Running Back To Saskatoon“, or “The Dubliners are taking The Rocky Road To Dublin,” but in this case the meaning was a less obvious; I should have been a bit more clear that the song is written from a character’s fictitious POV, or just avoided the convention altogether. A little bit careless/lazy, in retrospect.

This weird, almost surreal and inexplicable “hands-off” the public parks protesters (mostly druggies and weed grow-op people now) stance by policemen right across this vast country of Canada — think about it, SDA friends — it could not possibly be because this whole “Occupy” thing has been organized by powerful unions, could it?? Of course cops are all unionized. Are they answering to their union bosses — and not to their true bosses – we the people whom they apparently have sworn an oath to protect. I ask you: Just who the hell are they protecting? What chance do we have against this Red insurgency? Must we call in the Canadian military to get the cops back in line?
