  9. Huge ad in yesterday’s Van Sun from Indigo – You know how they like to promote Canadian writers, eh?
    Big push for authors like Michael Ondaatje, Robert Bateman, Mordecai Richler, Margaret Atwood, Yann Martel (who keeps sending Harper books he thinks he should read), Jann Arden (oh, she writes now?), Ron MacLean (yes, that MacLean), Adrienne Clarkson (oh good God!), and 5 or 6 others I have never heard of. Meanwhile, hovering around the top of many book-lists, is Mark Steyn and Michael Coren – but you wouldn’t know it from Indigo and Chapters!

I was recently given a copy of a CBC “circular” that was sent out to old folks homes, it is an all out attack on Steven Harper, stating that the Harper govt. wants to lay waste to the, poor little “CBC” and just send all your money please G-maw, and it will help save the pathetic CBC leftie/commies from the “EVIL” Harrrrper. Has anyone else seen this despicable tripe, I will post a copy as soon as I can figure out how to, the part that really got me was, it is only in English, not the obligatory Frenchy and Englais that these sucks shove down our throats all the time. This is serious folks and I would like to know if anyone else has seen it.

  12. Seems to me that it’s the dads who need the daycare; then they might not “have” to take the kiddies with them to jihad. But who would cry if there were no children killed when honest soldiers fight terror?
    No building day cares would be cause for OBL to attack.
