  4. I am happy to report i have just ripped apart a few lefties on the winnipeg jet’s face book page . There is a picture of harper with a jet’s jersey on and everyone well just about everyone , is making remarks about harper negative ones.
    So i stood up for our PM and all they can do is critisize my spelling and grammar.
    Seriously i know i have terrible spelling and grammar skills along with punctuation, but most can get the jist of my point’s , none will repond to what i have said and yes yes …i got the old lefty line , “your hatred sucks” lol and i have not said one hateful thing lol.
    Anyway i could use some support.

  14. I was out for dinner with a friend of this evening. She’s a good person, despises the NDP, but thinks that MSNBC is a “centrist” news channel. She told me with absolute certainty that the recent Debt Limit crisis was entirely due to … wait for it … RACISM. I couldn’t believe it.
    Never forget about the power of the media, folks. They can significantly influence the opinions of even smart people.

  16. Toronto Star moron David Olive says there’s near consensus on raising taxes on the rich, US gov revenues would have been a whole 166 billion more if the Bush tax cuts had been repealed – that’s a whole 40 days of Obama borrowing/spending. Lefty’s drool over this silliness.

  23. Interestingly, although a guitar fingerstyle was named after Merle Travis (“Travis picking”), Travis himself never used the style, which utilizes the thumb and 1st two fingers. Travis himself only played with thumb and index finger, and that makes his playing all the more impressive.
    Chet Atkins was a Merle contemporary, and a living Travis accolyte is none other than Tommy Emmanuel, arguably the most talented and flamboyant steel string picker on the planet today.

  24. Even worse Max, apparently the guy they are looking for who likely abducted Kienan was awaiting trial for attempted abduction of another child. He had a torture chamber all setup in a cabin. The judge let him out on bail. The RCMP told no one about this guy being released in that community. AND they waited 8 hours to raise the alarm.

  25. The judge who let this child-abducting creep out on bail…should we be publicly naming him/her?
    What I’m asking is, if there was accountability for judges and parole board members who release dangerous individuals into the community, would they be more careful? Just thinking out loud.

  26. Sure you can publicly name officials – you just can’t incite violence against them. Write an angry snail mail letter! It’s easier to delete an email than to throw away a paper letter without reading it.
    Even suggesting an inkling of threatening behavior will bring down the full force of the law on you. Our legal system may not be willing to protect us but they spare no expense in protecting themselves.

  33. At the NYC commemoration memorial tomorrow, a screen shot of the Palestinians cheering at the Twin Towers hit would be apropos. It should be a ‘no brainer’ as a message to radical Islamists, along with the attack on the U.S. embassy in Israel. Also, Syrian civilian massacres of late, and of course the Iranian massacre of young Nadia.
    The above is why Nato allies have fought and died in war theatres.
    The silence at these video remembrances guaranteed will be deafening.

    Bloomberg is an appeasing asshat whose acquiescence to the Islamists doesn’t sit at all well with me. Follow the money and it’ll probably lead one to mega-$$$ deals with Muslims in NYC and elsewhere.
    Apparently, there isn’t “room” for first-responders and clergy at Ground Zero tomorrow … There was room for them, however, at the disaster scene, where many first responders and one priest lost their lives helping others. Bloomsberg’s playing out of Jean Chretien’s songbook. Chretien refused to have clergy/prayers at the 9/11 memorial on Parliament Hill right after it happened and wrote to Christian clergy before the memorial for the victims of Swiss Air Flight 111 that went down just off Peggy’s Cove, asking them not to mention Jesus as it might be offensive to non-Christians. None of the other religious groups were instructed what and what not to pray.
    I guess some religions are just more equal than others.

    That “economist” is a sociology prof. There is not a thing in her description of a “plenitude economy” that will lead to anything other than mass deprivation or even starvation.
