  1. Hes come out like lion.
Makes Obama looks like the moral dunce he is.

  2. That was a great speech, with some memorable words. “This is not about accepting a Palestinian state, it’s about accepting a Jewish state.”

  3. I said shortly after Obama’s speech that “Obama is no match intellectually for Netanyahu on the G&M site to not much applause. “Vindication” I’d say.
I also counseled BO “not to do or say anything else” until 2012 for his best election chances. He obviously doesn’t read SDA(to his own peril).
That was a great speech by Netanyahu, and even better adlibbing when dealing with hecklers. I suspect his heckler is “disgusted” that he’s scoring political points because of her.
I stand with PMSH and Israel.

  4. I suspect his heckler is “disgusted” that *she’s* scoring political points because of her.
    fixed

  5. Great speech. You can tell he is intelligent and has strong convictions. Why do they keep trying to tell everybody that Obama’s a great speaker? He can’t hold a candle to this guy.

  6. I like the way he speaks forthrightly, unlike the snake Obama who hasn’t an ounce (OK 28.2 grams) of moral fiber in his being.

  7. I’ve heard that Obama has a moral compass. Its quite good actually. It gets regular use as a fan serving to cool the white house.

  8. Obama betrays an ally and flees on Vacation to Ireland, a natural disaster occurs and Obama spends his time smoozing and drinking with his white ancestors. Funny he got elected as a black man in the US but poses as a white man in Eurabia, hum wonder why? Bush would of been raked over the coals if he vacationed during Katrina, but Obama he gets to drink and make merry whilst his subjects suffer utter devestation.

  9. I like Israel, but………….you have to note that the highest support amongst ethnic groups for Obama besides Blacks(98%) were Jews.(78%).
Elections have consequences, and the inbred liberal-left impulses of most Jewish people, will support a liberal who would destroy Israel, than support a conservative who would preserve it.

  10. I like Israel, but, you have to note the highest support for Obama, besides Blacks(98%), were Jews(78%).
The knee jerk left-liberalism amonngst most Jews, leads them to support a liberal who would destroy Israel, than to support a conservative who would preserve it.

  11. Revnant Dream has it right @ 4:19. Netanyahu is a giant and Obama is a puppet whose strings are being pulled.
Rose @ 7:11, it is OK if progressives do it.

  12. Thank-you for posting links to this speech, Jim Horne. I watched a few minutes of it before going to work this A.M. and I was about to search for links to the whole speech, and voila! here it was at SDA. If Prime Minister Netanyaju’s words failed to reach into the souls of all who heard it then there is little hope for mankind, IMO. Without mumbo jumbo or PC this Prime Minister laid all the dangers of Pajamapad (Iran) and Pajamapad’s supporters out in the full light of truth for all to see – the fanatics will not stop if they destroy Israel. We, in North America, cannot sit this one out: we must choose and we must choose now; time is not on our side.

  13. Brilliant speech. ‘Watching it now. Netanyahu is a leader.
Obama is an empty-suit poseur entirely lacking in gravitas. (No wonder he decided to hightail it to Great Britain. He should be in Washington paying very close attention to what Mr. Netanyahu’s saying. Israel will be generous but will not be pushed around by Palestinians or anyone else.)

  14. They are pulling out the race card.
Left wing group Peace Now accused Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu of racist motivation for standing up to U.S. President Barack Obama in a White House press briefing last week…….
Obama’s speech would not have earned the same amount of public condemnations and insults had Obama been “a rich white American president,” concluded Oppenheimer. Netanyahu, he said, should judge Obama by his deeds, which are supportive of Israel, “rather than his ethnicity, his past and the background he grew up in.”

  15. You know why Barry is in Ireland this week? Bankers.
They trump tornadoes, Israel and everything else going on, including open war in three countries.
Netanyahu is not going to lose any points with me for making Barry the Living Puppet look bad.

  16. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is a great speaker with strong convictions and won’t let his country down. A true leader not afraid of a fight.
Robert in Ottawa…..”I like the way he speaks forthrightly…”
This is a quality that so few have, but one I value above so many others.

  17. Have you ever noticed good orators like Harper & others who can talk about important matters with dignity, never use telepromters?

  18. What is the difference between a “Jewish Israel state” and an “Islamist Iranian state”.
Why not ask for Israel to be recognized as an “Israeli state”?
I believe in separation of state and religion, as such I can’t recognize Israel as a jewish state. But I have no problem recognizing it as an israeli state (67 border of course) with a right to live in security.
As such I accept to recognize Israel as a secular 67 border state with a right to live in security.
    Quebecois NDPiste. (ex separatiste)
    Vive Jack Layton.

  19. quebecois NDPiste; just like the “secular” states of Iran, Syria,Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan et al?
Your right to have religious convictions, or not, is guaranteed by the fact you live in a democracy; funny enough so do Israelis. THEY make the distinction, not you.

  20. Then, mon ami, you are some kind of an ass-hat.
If our many new MPs are that far behind reality then this parliament should be like some sort of summer school for problem students.
The difference between Israel and Iran … where to begin. Oh why bother? Travel to each of them and let us know how it works out.

  21. CFRA Ottawa talk show host Lowell Green has a way of putting the Mid-East situation into sharp focus. “What would happen if tomorrow Israel disarmed? Israel would cease to exist. What would happen tomorrow if the Arab world disarmed? There would be peace.”

  22. I used to think that Benjamin Netanyahu was a waffler, but clearly “when the going gets tough the tough get going”.
The politician is replaced with the commando.
Now for some action on Iran.
