Sometimes I feel guilty about the crushing debt our generation is passing on to the next. Then I come across a story like this. Whatever!

I especially like the part where the wanted to reduce carbon dioxide and increase reforestation.
Is basic plant science not being taught in the US anymore?? What a bunch of maroons.
I know, I know … preview then post. Apology for the error.
I guess no one told them that fires are part of the natural cycle; that global warming is supposed to increase precipitation; and the pine beetle infestations are worsened, in part, by the very lack of wildfires they seek to further suppress. So dump the computer, get out hunting and build the wickiup you’re going to be living in to set the wonderful example you should be setting for your back-to-nature bs. And the parents/adults behind this scam should be charged with child abuse for using these kids as political sock puppets.
First…since when did adults start listening to an 11 year old? I would be checking out his parents(?) for putting him up to this.Then again,kids leading kids.
I wonder what they will say is causing natural Earth cycles to happen once they cap the CO2 emissions and we still have fires, warming and cooling, etc? It blows my mind that there is such a lack of common sense.
The public school system has been in full throttle global warming indoctranation mode for years, what did we expect?
Their picture says it all . . . two real dudes, man!
Hansen is also backing some kiddies in a lawsuit against the Obama regime . . he isn’t happy Barry is following his orders.
I say lower the voting age.
Who could predict that a kid named Xiuhtezcatl would be involved in this sort of thing?
The result of an “indoctrination system”….wait, silly me. Did I say indoctrination?……I meant to say “education system”, taken over by anti-establishment leftists from the 60s and 70s, plus a generous helping of today’s rearing methods commonly known as child-based parenting. Love to meet those parents.
Wait….no I wouldn’t.
Among the kids’ list of “serious environmental concerns” is a shortened ski season. Because, man, if you have to stop skiing in March it’s, like, a real bummer.
And teenagers wonder why no one likes them… it boggles the mind.
Conscription.
It’s easy to blame the kids. Problem is, kids are sponges. At that age it’s almost guaranteed that they’re just repeating what is taught at school and, most influentially, at home. We can’t blame them for the opinions they are given. Parents and teachers, i.e. older people, are the root source of childhood ideologies. Time to eat crow and place responsability where it belongs. Defusing leftist dogma shouldn’t be left to the kids.
I believe the children are our future, unless we stop them now.;)
Black Mamba said: “conscription”.
2 years minimum.
I would follow the money….
Firstly, they need to sue all the countries in the world at the same time because that last time I checked the Nevada, nor the US Federal government had control over the climate of the planet. I will be shocked it’s determined that all of the approximately 192 countries of the world can do anything about it either.
Secondly, I hope those little arrogant twits choke to death on their their next burger and fries ….
The child wears a headband,has a hyphenated last name,and is named after the Aztec god of “fire and the creator of life”. There is also a few you-tubes of him speaking to get Obama elected st the age of 6 and 8.

This scenario reminds me of the frustrated ‘ beauty queens’ who push their children into pageants at a very young age.
I am pretty sure that Oppenheimer has been misquoted all this time.
Am pretty sure that he said “I am become Xiuhtezcatl, dude. Awesome.”
The partent of these young men: tamara roske and her two sons, Xiuhtezcatl and Itzcuauhtli at her blog, mothersactingup.org. A sample of a Q&A at her site:
Q You have an opportunity to meet with the President on behalf of the world’s children. What single request do you make? What individual or group do you invite to join you, so you’re invincible and win the support of the White House?
A It is me, with my 10 year old son Xiuhtezcatl by my side. Oh wait, his brother Itzcuauhtli, who is 8, wants to come too. And they want to bring their Earth Guardian friends, who stand with them, for their planet, for their future. They also want to bring children who are really suffering from our environmental crisis: suffering from asthma because their air is so polluted; suffering from their back yard ocean being filled with oil; suffering from diseases because of factories that are in their neighborhoods. We have a secret weapon: we know we are invincible and that the President will listen. He will be reminded of his own children and he will realize his decisions are affecting his children and determining the kind of world they will be left with. He will Awaken as he hears our stories
I love the irony. Let’s say they are successful–they’ll be paying the settlement since it will just be thrown on top of the debt anyway.
If one wants to make sure their planet is habitable in the foreseeable future, they should burn more coal and firewood.
Put away the beer and tv remote and talk to your kids instead.
I have a similar complaint about the governments interact with.
I just wish I could charge them with the obvious willful malfeasance, wild incompetence and corruption that *I* read about every day.
but somehow all THAT is ok.
Can we sue them when they become hackey sack layabouts with squeegees for ruining the country’s future?
“I love the irony. Let’s say they are successful–they’ll be paying the settlement since it will just be thrown on top of the debt anyway.”
Rimshot!
I thought that patriotism was the last refuge of scoundrels.
Just when it seems all the WTF is used up, along comes another WTF. This one wins (so far).
” they’ll be paying the settlement since it will just be thrown on top of the debt anyway.”
I don’t think so. Real people in real jobs will be paying the settlement. These children will likely end up being some sort of ‘community organizer’ and live off the working people.
No matter what our kids and the new generation think about us,
WE ARE AWESOME !!!
OUR Lives are LIVING PROOF !!!
To Those of Us Born
1925 – 1970 :
At the end of this email is a quote of the month by Jay Leno. If you don’t read anything else, please
read what he said.
Very well stated, Mr. Leno.
~~~~~~~~~
TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED THE
1930s, ’40s, ’50s, ’60s and ’70s!!
First, we survived being born to mothers who may have smoked and/or drank
while they were pregnant.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn’t get tested for diabetes.
Then, after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright coloured lead-based paints.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets,
and, when we rode our bikes, we had baseball caps, not helmets, on our heads.
As infants and children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes..
Riding in the back of a pick- up truck on a warm day was always a special treat.
We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle.
We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died from this.
We ate cupcakes, white bread, real butter, and bacon. We drank Kool-Aid made with real white sugar. And we weren’t overweight.
WHY?
Because we were always outside playing…that’s why!
We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.
No one was able to reach us all day.
–And, we were OKAY.
We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride them down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes.. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem..
We did not have Play Stations, Nintendos and X-boxes. There were no video games, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVDs, no surround-sound or CDs,
no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet and no chat rooms.
WE HAD FRIENDS
and we went outside and found them!
We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth, and there were no lawsuits from those accidents.
We would get spankings with wooden spoons, switches, ping-pong paddles, or just a bare hand, and no one would call child services to report abuse.
We ate worms, and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.
We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls, and
-although we were told it would happen- we did not put out very many eyes.
We rode bikes or walked to a friend’s house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them.
Little League had tryouts
and not everyone made the team. Those who didn’t had to learn to deal with disappointment.
Imagine that!!
The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!
These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers, and inventors ever.
The past 50 to 85 years have seen an explosion of innovation and new ideas..
We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.
If YOU are one of those born between 1925-1970, CONGRATULATIONS!
You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good.
While you are at it, forward it to your kids, so they will know how brave and lucky their parents were.
Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn’t it ?
I think history shows that things reach epidemic proportion and then all violent hell breaks loose.
Think of it as the Seals coming in for Osama Bin Laden.
Then history shows relative stability for another spell.
Hey…its Gaia’s way of recycling!
This is about the age of the Red Guard in China and the soldiers of the Pal Pot in Laos depicted in the movie “The Killing Fields” and we all know how that turned out.
Did you know the Kymer Rouge killed people with glasses first?…..usually by smothering them with a plastic bag…
