  1. TSA Agent arrested for ditributing child porn.
You knew it was only a matter of time, now if this guy had only kept his activities at the office ( where they belong) it would be totally legal.
A passenger screener at Philadelphia International Airport is facing charges that he distributed more than 100 images of child pornography via Facebook, records show.
Federal agents also allege that Transportation Safety Administration Officer Thomas Gordon Jr. of Philadelphia, who routinely searched airline passengers, uploaded explicit pictures of young girls to an Internet site on which he also posted a photograph of himself in his TSA uniform.

  2. My Canucks have gone from 3 – 0 in the series with Chicago to 3 – 3. I fear they’re going to lose the next game. Even if they don’t, I think it’s clear that the wind has been taken out of their sails heading into Round #2. 🙁

  3. I respectfully disagree, Robert (11:29). I think the Canucks showed great resiliency and character and mental fortitude tonight. *If* they win game seven – I think they will – they’ll be a stronger team for the rest of the playoffs.

  4. EBD, thank-you for the beautiful selection of music rejoicing the Resurrection of Our Savior, Jesus Christ . Praise God.

  5. EBD, I add my thanks for this music. Praetorius has a special place in my heart for reasons too numerous to list here. For the sheer joy of hearing a master extend the boundaries of his craft as it was known then, while having loads of fun doing it, try his Tirpsichorean Dances. (I think I’ve spelled that wrong; blast!)
Robert W: fear not, the Canucks will prevail. We may even find ourselves in the same pub on Tuesday night singing ‘Halleluja” together.

  6. A wonderful comemoration of Easter by a great master! It makes a fine companion piece for his “Mass for Christmas Morning”.
    Thanks much!

  8. Over at Power Line @ “Zombie Time”, April 24, there’s a great video showing a protest against Obama at the Facebook headquarters in California. (I don’t know how to give a link to just the video: sorry.)
Obama’s supporters are clueless. One of them, who’s going to vote for him again, says, “How come we’ve got debt? All the government has to do is print more money”: brain dead—which is what one has to be to vote for this dangerous impostor again. I’ll bet this deluded woman’s also wondering how come Obama’s not paying for her rent and gas.
Then the police intimidate Tea party types—who stand up to them. Yeah! (Actually, the other day, I was speaking to a Conservative campaign worker, who opined that the “police are generally conservative”. I don’t think so, I responded: they’re the product of our left-wing propaganda mills, otherwise known as public schools.)

  9. Headline reads “Harper offers Easter wish; pastor prays for his protection from ‘evil'”
“This is not really primarily about the election campaign. This is really, for us, a bit of a break from it to share a few moments of fellowship with you at this special time.”
He said it’s “no accident” that Easter is in the spring, which is a season of “re-birth.”
“Easter is a season of tremendous hope, as you all know. The triumph of life over death, and the redeeming power of love.”

  10. Don Newman, just doing my part guys…
Vote NDP and you could give Stephen Harper the majority government that so far has eluded him in three other campaigns. And not just a majority — a comfortable majority that will give him complete control of the House of Commons for the next four years.
And if the weekend polls are to hold for the campaign’s final days, the Canadian political landscape could be even more dramatically altered.
The last three elections have produced minority governments.
But that mold now appears broken. And it is Jack Layton who has broken it.
The Easter weekend polls had his New Democrats running neck and neck with the Liberals, drawing strength from both that party and amazingly, the Bloc Québécois in their home province.
If the poll numbers hold, the following dramatic changes could occur:
•The Bloc could lose its 20-year dominance in Quebec, which began with the party being founded in the political rubble of the failed Meech Lake accord.
•The Liberals could end up in a third-place finish, something that has never before happened since Confederation.
•The NDP could finish second and for the first time since its founding in 1961, become the Official Opposition.
If the NDP and Liberals split enough votes, the Conservatives could win a comfortable majority with less than 40 per cent of the vote.
How could this all come to pass? Well it hasn’t yet and it might not. There is still one week to go. Past experience shows that in the final week of a campaign, voters sometimes come “home” to their original party after a serious flirtation with another.

  11. Typical Liberal elitism – You’re all too stupid to understand how bad Harper is…
    ————————-
Liberal senator and campaign co-chairman David Smith acknowledges that the party’s defence-of-democracy message has not resonated with voters.
“A lot of the average guys on the sidewalk, this is not something that they really understand,” he told Postmedia News. “But, are we going to give up? No, because it is important.”

  12. Not a tip per se, just a funny, IMO, kick-off quote from Scottish comedian, Frankie Boyle:
“I feel sorry for Obama because he’s still got to fight the innate racism of Americans. I mean, did you see his first speech, when he got made President and they put all that bulletproof glass up in front of him? I think that shows you how racist America still is. Just because he’s black doesn’t mean he’s going to shoot anybody.”

  13. More and more people “incorrectly” believe that Obama is a muslim:
President Obama failed to release a statement or a proclamation recognizing the national observance of Easter Sunday, Christianity’s most sacred holiday
By comparison, the White House has released statements recognizing the observance of major Muslim holidays and released statements in 2010 on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha.

  14. The canvasser was released by the campaign….
….and resumed his regular duties in the Volpe-Liberal team.

  15. If Barry’s father is who Barry says is his father, he was born a muslim
as far as any ordinary muslim theocratic authority would be concerned.
Sending Predators up and down the Khyber blasting his co-religionists
might be a little iffy if someone decided to quibble.

“Ont. sold power at a loss on Earth Day
TORONTO – Ontario was paying other jurisdictions to take its electricity on Earth Day.
“That’s the way we celebrate Earth Day in Ontario,” energy consultant Tom Adams of tomadamsenergy.com said Monday.
Ontario exported power to neighbouring utilities at a negative price for the final two hours of Earth Day – minus 0.09 cents per kWh for one hour and minus 0.023 cents per kWh for the second.
Alexandra Campbell, a spokesperson for the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), said demand on Easter weekend was at its traditional low, so the province exported 3,230 megawatts of electricity late in the evening Friday.
The negative export price is not available to regular Ontario consumers.
Residential ratepayers in the province pay the market rate for electricity plus a special provincial global adjustment to cover extra costs, such as the guaranteed prices Ontario has agreed to pay some producers of clean energy like solar and wind.
Adams said the province has been struggling with an oversupply of electricity – as potentially dangerous to the stability of the system as a shortage of power – for much of the past week.
“Ontario has become a gigantic exporter of power … there are some time periods where we rival Hydro Quebec,” Adams said. “We are buying high and selling low. We sell at low prices, sometimes negative prices, power that is costing consumers substantial amounts to have produced in the first place.”
Given that the province pays some generators even if their electricity is not needed, it’s also possible that hydro ratepayers picked up the tab for power that was never produced, he said.
Adams also suspects that hundreds of megawatt hours of the province’s greenest, cheapest electricity production may have been deliberately not used over the past week, including on Earth Day.”

    Happy Earth Day!
O, happy happy official Earth Day! And I can’t think of a better way to kick it off than to remember the founder of Earth Day, Ira “The Unicorn” Einhorn- now better known as Inmate #ES6859 at Houtzdale State Correctional Institution in Pennsylvania.”
