I recall certain european elements complaining bitterly that the Gaza University ( a multi-story building) was destroyed by a precision missile strike by an IDF helicopter.
It seems Hamas had a quassim rocket factory in the basement……

Freedom fighters tools stolen!
An IDF “spokes person” stated that these “dangerous” “weapons” where being “smuggled” “legally”. But the great and peaceful people of Gaza have had their property stolen.
I can’t begin to comprehend the level of restraint shown by Israel. I’d like to say I admire it, but honestly, I’m starting to think they are only delaying the inevitable.

I’ve been wondering recently whether the left might be making a tactical mistake with this ever-escalating Israel-bashing. Few people doubt that there’s a strong anti-semitic element to it, although the fact the Israel is a civilized, essentially Western nation also accounts for a great deal of the hatred.
I believe that the Israel-hating left is running the risk of alienating even very leftist Jews. Not, say, Chomsky, of course, but others. If they lose a significant portion of the Jewish leftist intelligencia then they’re in trouble.

One wonders why Israel just doesn’t line up the bulldozers on the Eastern boundary of Gaza and work their way West until the poor excuse for humanity that hides there is shoved into the Sinai for Egypt to deal with. No one can honestly say that the pathologically programmed proxies controlling the residents of Gaza have any notion of nationhood that doesn’t include the annihilation of Israel. At least it would give the Western wienny-pants left something of substance to whine about.
Israel won’t do that because it would ensure their demise as the US Administration along with the global governance crowd through the UN, appear to be setting things up to seriously intervene in Israel ensuring a gradual genocide by preventing Israeli self defense. The Libyan (civil war) intervention is the first step and enabling precedent. The enemy (Islamists) of my “enemy” (Gaddafi) is my ally? Works for Obama, the anti-Israel Europeans and of course, the UN! What is Canada’s excuse?
