Nicola Timmerman’s Valentine’s Day reminder.
Please send a brief message to the troops. There are fewer and fewer messages I find, and often they are weekly from the same people.
Go to www.forces.gc.ca and pick English or French and then click on the right hand side box which says Write to the Troops. You can write a bilingual message if you want..

Thanks for the reminder Kate and Nicola!
Thanks for the timely reminder.
This is very strange video that was shown live via a satellite feed on MSNBC and other stations. Despite what one makes of it, it’s worth viewing. There are several versions of it from different stations on You Tube.

Thanks from here too Kate. Just sent a short note off and that’s a good thing.
No-One: What’s with the Ghost Horseman that appears in the video? Strange is right.
Patsplace,
Strange for sure. Apparently it was broadcast live on February 3rd on several news stations as a breaking news feed. One of the versions shows someone videotaping their tivo recording of it – they saw it live during the actual broadcast and said what the %6%$ was that and decided to see if what they saw live really did appear. Quite a few hits on many of the versions from different TV stations that have been uploaded.
64,049 + 1 message thanking our brothers and sisters in the Canadian Forces as of now – you guys and gals Rule. God Bless You…
Ooops – my bad Kate – the link to the video should have been placed under reader tips – my sincere apologies – it does not fit on this thread.
I did not know one could send messages to the troops – excellent. Sent msg and will pass along this information.
I just posted a message on the Canadian Armed Forces website. I have a nephew there.
Little tip – First choose “Department of Defense” at Nicola Timmerman’s link English or French if you’d like to write.
Am I the only one that sent a letter that wasn’t posted?
