    Anyway, Venezuela seems to have dug deep into their conscience, here’s a quick link to the story there this week of how Gordito Chavez is expropriating (liberating?) a 93 year old man’s farm.

    note that in many of the news releases regarding Chavez’ 4th kick at the cat of seizing legislative power again, it’s told that he will be ruling for a year, in Venezuela news outlets and the actual announcement from Chavez, it’s for 18 months. This is a few months (4?) before the next presidential election there. No worries, it’s the people’s best interests at heart.

    More telling than the Alexa ranking are the comments. Except for the post that our hostess linked to she averages between 0 and 4 comments per post.
    A link from Kate probably increases her site traffic by 3000 percent (tanks to Barry O for such a fun number!).

    Sorry Missy, but no true conservative could ever turn that way. For once you’ve gained a modicum of common sense enlightenment you don’t suddenly drop it one day in favour of conflicted values and first stage thinking.
    My guess is that she was a pure narcissist before and has incorrectly labeled that as “conservative”. She’s now still as selfish as before but pretends to care about others. Through her writing though, you can see that everything is still about her, her, her. Pathetic, actually.

  9. I’ve seen cases of severely arrested development before but, this Sabrina Becker is in a class by herself. I guess I’m not with it but, prior to Kate’s “kind” introduction, I had never heard of her. Would someone in the know please provide a little background? Who/what is she? What does she do in the real world? Where does she come from? (and please don’t say, “From under a rock”). This is a serious enquiry.

I would also be amused to see how she reconciles “intellectualism” and “wiccan”.     You know I did see something this happen once. My friend went from married, hetero, observant Catholic to divorced, lesbian, New Ager. Not surprisingly, her husband was similar to the former and her girlfriend the latter. Thankfully, her fun-loving personality remained the same so being a lesbian cannot be the reason for the hateful hag routine of Ms.Becker.

    Speaking of Muslim women, I was watching a repeat of ‘Curb your Enthusiasm’ yesterday where Larry befriended a Muslim woman who wore the complete cover(could only see eyes). She complained about not being able to get a date, where Larry said that might be difficult since you can’t see what she looks like. THEN… the light went on in Larry’s head and he set her up on a Blind Date, in Larry Davis fashion, with his blind friend(who in an earlier episode had his relationship with his girlfriend ruined by Larry when Larry told the blind-guy that his girlfriend was ugly). Priceless!

    She is a self stated ex-conservative, feminist, socialist, environmentalist and wiccan who identifies with Jesus. Interestingly, I recognized the wiccan vibe b4 I read it in her about me page. She lives in Ontario. She mentioned having some mental health issues (while still a conservative) that were greatly helped by Arthur Miller to whom she dedicates her site. It appears she is of Bolivian descent. Being a wiccan. I imagine she worships Lilith and Gia. She threatened persons who visited her site ISP – the nature of the threat was not exactly clear. I could not help but notice that she called Kate a witch, which I thought odd being that she self professes to be one. She had posted a cartoon of an overweight rich person, yet seems to like Micheal Moore.
    I sensed she is a troubled soul, who as Kate stated, needs a hug, and I would add a prayer to the hug.
