Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Dana Arnason, way to go.
Welcome to SDA.
I hope to read more from you.
I checked your website and I disagree with your preferential voting sytem.
That’s how “Red” Ed Stelmach got voted to be the leader of my Alberta.
That type of voting system favours socialism because there are many shades of socialism but only one shade of true blue conservatism.
By process of eliminating the first choice, the best conservatives get eliminated from the race and voters end up with the socialist who lies best to get voted by conservatives as a distant second choice.
Seriously, first past the post may be “antiquated” as you WIPSKs put it, but it’s better than the preferential system and change just for change’s sake is flat out wrong thinking.
We can do better than Australia.
Iggy saying oil is a national industry in Edmonton is a chuckle.
Iggy saying his boulet boots are the best evah…at the Calgary Stampede! is priceless.
“Iggy saying his boulet boots are the best evah…at the Calgary Stampede! is priceless.”

Iggy couldn’t pour piss out of his boot if the instructions were written on the heel.
Iggs never gets to my neck of the woods, Buttf*ck Alberta.
I’d ask where is the Forty million stolen by the Librannos!!! Start with addressing THAT, and I’ll start to listen….
Keep it up Iggy. Every Western separatist in the Province is clapping.
Easterners have no conception of what the NEP did to this Nation. How deep the wound to the Albertan Psyche.
Thats why even unconsciously people here are slowly developing our own system for the West.
Like the Americans said to the British. We don’t need some Government taxing us & our labor from 3000 miles away. Its been a disaster for the West.
Transfer payments not withstanding.

The Last time The Libtards had the keys to the kingdom in Alberta was 1904. So lets review. For the last 106 years Alberta has resisted the progressives and look at us. The rest of Western Civilization has participated in this maddness and look at them. Before you run down the but you had oil rant let me remind you that B.C. has an ocean of gas Saskatchewan has oil and gas and potash and uranium and now we find out Quebec has gas. Way to go Iggy, thaks for reminding us why we do not vote liberal in Alberta.
Whenever the Liberals talk about a ‘national’ anything, it means they are getting set to ‘nationalize’ it, and put some group or region at the back of the bus.
Exactly like they did with the ‘Designated Area’ western Canada grain farmers in the Canadian Wheat Board Act.
