Welcome to Canada

Enjoy your new life:

Maria and Dieter Rauscher came to Canada from Germany as immigrants. In 1978, Dieter transferred into a management position with Lake Erie Steel (now U.S. Steel Canada) at Nanticoke, a short trip south of Caledonia. The couple moved to a rambling old farmhouse on a small acreage on the Sixth Line, east of Six Nations.

… and then all hell broke loose.

  1. Perhaps it’s Germany that should be warning German’s about immigrating to Canada, and the Polish warning citizens about the RCMP eh?

  2. Read extensively about these folks both through
the Hamilton Spectator and recently, Blatchford’s book.
A total f#@king travesty of justice!
McGuinty and his henchman,Fantino own this lock stock and barrel.

  3. This Caledonia story is old news. Most of us followed it on the net when it was happening.
Why is MSM jumping on it now?

  4. They have broken treaty and lucky for them the nation and provinces are being run by spineless leaders that prefer a rudderless ship.

  5. I was a policeman for over 30 years with the RCMP and I was in situation where I was outnumbered and I never, not once, backed down. The question I like to ask the OPP…don’t you have sidearms….if these 20 or so idiots got to the point where you were afraid for your life, would you not pull your weapon. What do you have it for?
I never would follow orders that would prevent me from uploading the law and protecting people. I took an oath to help people and if necessary I would lay down my life for that purpose. I don’t think any person or court would convict you for doing the right thing and if they did…hey, sometimes life is not fear but you always do whats right. If you cant…me a man and quit and stop pretending to be a lawman, because you are not….you are a coward or a sheep that follows unethical orders.
If the OPP caved in to something as small as this incident, I hope we never are taken over by some foreign power…then we would really be like the Vichy French.
They should be ashamed to wear the uniform.
This bullshit with Indians will go on forever, until some guy with the guts stands up to these terrorists and we all know they are all chicken as I have never seen one yet with the gonads to stand up against a man. I would have liked to have lived in Caledonia during this occupation…maybe the OPP could see what a real cop or rather x-cop does when he sees injustice being perpatrated on his fellow man.

  6. Mike L.,
I agree with you, unfortunately the spineless government does not. they would arrest YOU for disturbing the peace.
And they would charge you, and jail you.
And the MSM would ignore the whole story or blame you because you are the racist.
    Someone tell me they wouldn’t?

  7. its a pastime in Germany to go out and play “Red Indians”
must be a surprise to find out its not all tranquilty and teepees when they meet them.

  8. This is why i love blog’s i would never have herd of this story of racism and injustice.
And the more you report about it kate the more peopel are hereing and they al lreact the same
“And this happeend where? in canada? You have got to be Fu$kin kidding me”
Soi direct em to your site ..but they are like ostriches keep there head in the sand!!!

  9. Mike L.
Perhaps you have forgot the Ipperwash/Dudley George fiasco.
The OPP member who fired was charged…because allegedly George was unarmed….because they found no firearm and yet the OPP never had control of the scene for days and George’s associates were able to evacuate George and drive about……
This was a travesty of the rules of evidence…not exactly CSI quality.
Remember this is the age when illegal combatants instead of being summarilly executed, are given POW statis persuant to the Geneva Protocols despite obvious ineligibility.

  10. So why aren’t these people in prison? Or dead from being shot while attacking police?
(Or shot by the people they terrorized?)
    This is gangsterism.
Or, if we wish to perhaps be more charitable (or less), Brownshirt territory.

  11. I’m still holding out hope that Fantino will expose this, and we will find out who was barking orders in Toronto.

  12. Sasquatch….I do remember that vile incident..he was shot by a ERT sniper….I also was on the ERT for the RCMP and I know these railroaded him…I am not sure he if ever went to jail.
I get back to what I said before, you have to do what is right and take the consquences
These situations are only going to get worse and the police will have to pay the price for the gov’t lack of courage. The Canadian public has also been blindsided by the First Nations people, or rather their leaders (Chiefs)….but I think more and more people are starting to see through their crap….after all, it is only a big rip off as the expense on not only the Canadian public but the Indian people themselves. There are only a few of the people in power on reserves who benefit the monies resulting from a shakedown on the Canadian people.

  13. Among a society corrupted liberty cannot exist, that’s Ontario these days. SLAPP suits, censorship at Academia and last but not least Legal Jihad and the attempt to get Sharia Law legalized. Good bye Ontario, hello Ontariostan where white people have no rights.

  14. Mike L.
The officer who shot Dudley George died in a car accident just before the end of the enquiry. Draw your own conclusions.
A member of the Hamilton Police Service who was also a resident of Caledonia tried to make some sense out of this travesty. His involvement is memorialized in Blatchford’s book.
Bottom line- he was sandbagged by the OPP and his own Service.

  15. Gawd Mike L. if there were only more police or people in government like you!!
Felt compelled after reading the last excerpt to send McGuinty a message through his website & share my opinion that he is nothing more than a spineless hack, basically a traitor to Canada, & that he should be deeply ashamed & disgusted with himself. Provided him with the link to the excerpt.

  16. OPP=donut-eating cowards, pure and simple. Upholding the law, not their priority. And as the cowards they are, they harass and charge citizens with more guts than they have instead of filling the local hoosegow with the real criminals i.e. the aboriginals who believe violence makes right (and let me tell you, my sympathy for aboriginals, already low, has really gone down the crapper with this kind of shit). Chief Wiggum must be the OPP commissioner these days.

  17. If the OPP will not protect, who do we have to hire to do the job?
It is sad that elderly immigrants have to surrender their dreams of a quiet life because of thugs. Thanks, OPP and government of Ontario, for screwing these people over.

  18. Liberal brand: Jeancula Chretien/MartinJr/Dion, et al + Ad$Cam + Charest + McGuinty.
The fish rots from the head down.
    …-
    >>> “Maybe Maclean’s (magazine) was right after all, to call Quebec the most corrupt province.” “said Laval University political analyst Louis Massicotte, referring to the allegations against Vaillancourt.”
    >>> “It’s a lose-lose situation for Mr. Charest,” he said, noting he looks suspicious if he doesn’t call one and if he does, he faces a Gomery-like storm — a reference to the federal sponsorship inquiry led by Justice John Gomery in the mid 2000s.”
“It has been one terrible week for Mr. Charest’s Liberals,” said Jean-Herman Guay, a political scientist at Sherbrooke University. “Allegations have been surfacing for a year but this week, the crisis has reached a climax.”
“The end for Charest? Quebec premier’s had ‘one terrible week’”

  19. Blue 6:01.. Because Christi Blatchford made us re-focus on it, and as far as I know it is ongoing. I hate what this country is becoming, politically correct ass kissers Turd-oh! designed the laws to make us powerless, wittingly or unwittingly, and the “handout” crowd has learned how to play that game against us. We cant lift a hand against these modern day “stone-agers”..Wonder what JTF2 are doing these days?

  20. This is old news and hardly surprising. You’d be a fool to believe that you could count on the Canadian judiciary. No offense to the cops and lawyers et al. who really do want to protect the public or anything but really the system is pretty disgusting and dysfunctional across the board.
We should have followed the Americans and rescinded nationhood status to the natives. That’d show ’em but we’re like 100 years too late 😛

  21. Now you probably understand that my family and I feel defrauded. We sold everything we owned and crossed the ocean to enrich this country with 4 of us, only to find that this is a socialist gulag in disguise.

  22. There is no shame for a polititian, when working toward a fat pension. There is no pride, that will get in the way, in the pursuit of a fat pension. Thus sums up MOST polititians. IF polititians were rewarded monetarily, by integrity on the job, there would be no national debt. Here is more proof.

  23. The problem as I see it is where was Christi while this was going on.
I thought she was part of the center of the universe media.
This was all over the internet.
This makes me question the accuracy of the book.

  24. Fantino is a disgrace and should be ashamed. If he had an ounce of integrity he would have told McIdiot to shove it, and exposed the whole sorry mess publicly.
I’m amazed he’s running for office; I’d not vote him for dogcatcher. And more amazingly, he’s running as a Conservative! With the shifting sands of his morals, sense of right/wrong and political opportunism, he’d be a shoe-in as a liberal.
If I lived in his riding, I’d not vote in protest, regardless of the final outcome.

  25. I am astounded that anyone would actually say ‘this is old news’ with what sounds like something akin to a brusque scarcasm.
For the people who lived it , it sure does not feel like ‘old’ news. They live with what happened and the consequences every day.
I followed this closely when it was happening.
Not much made of it nationally, to the eternal shame of the media.
It was my strong impression that the OPP were ORDERED to behave as they did.
What transpired was a travesty and a disgrace.
    Further, a crime.
I always chaffe when someone refers to awful criminality as ‘a tragedy’. To me a ‘tragedy’ is something that happens that is out of the control of anybody.
When it is a terror attack or any kind of crime of one against another it is NOT a ‘tragedy’.
( Just to make a point)
What happened in Caledonia was a crime and it was terrorism. And that continues today because nothing was done to rectify it.
Law abiding citizens were terrorized and harrassed almost to death, and to death in some instances by criminals and the police stood by and did nothing. ON ORDERS from the government.
    That also is a crime.
I could not understand why people in this country were not up in arms against this.
Even the judge was overruled on more than one occasion when he ruled in favour of doing something about getting rid of the natives off the land they occupied and claimed but DID NOT OWN.
Not until the province, with taxpayers dollars BOUGHT it for them and gave it to them.
I have to agree with the woman who said if she was younger she would leave this country because of what happened to them.
Nothing like what happened should ever be tolerated in this country. But it was.
Long past time to rescind the ‘nationhood’ status of what has never, ever, by any stretch of imagination, Nationhood.
If we do not stop these things, soon we find there is nothing to do because we did not stand up for those who needed it and now they come for us and no one to stand for us.
I believe Christie has done a great thing by writing this book, if for no other reason than to highlight this awful period once again and to emphasize that Canadians just like us were terrorised, maligned, threatened , harrassed and ruined while the nation looked on , yawned and went their collective way.

  26. sonofagun.
natives are doing EXACTLY the degree of brutishness and thuggery inflicted on them for centuries by an uncaring white male dominated gubbamint.
    whodathunkit.

  27. Well beagle, I had no dogma in that old fight.Wasn’t me, and I can prove it.
    Now get off my corner…..
