This bible burning uproar should be a good test for America,and Islam.
The preacher man has been thoroughly denounced. Do the islamists accept that and go about their peaceful lives, maybe even take proportional action and burn some bibles?

The Narathiwat Teachers Federation called for more than 300 schools across the province to close Wednesday for several days, but it was not immediately clear how many opted to shut. One district in the province said five out of 157 schools would close for the rest of the week.
Public school teachers are viewed by insurgents as government collaborators who impose Buddhist culture through the school system. They are targeted along with civil servants and local officials in Thailand’s three southernmost provinces of Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat, which are the only Muslim-majority areas in the Buddhist country.
On Tuesday, a husband and wife, both Buddhist and primary school teachers at a public school, were riding to a morning market on a motorcycle before school started when they were shot and killed in a barrage of bullets fired from a suspected insurgent on the back seat of a passing motorbike, police said.
Their deaths raised the toll of teachers and school workers killed by the violence to 135.
The violence that flared in 2004 has claimed more than 4,200 lives. Muslims and Buddhists have been targeted by the violence, but the latest backlash against teachers has been aimed at Buddhists.

The Mohammedan Conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. When some Mongol inhabitants who had settled in Delhi, and had been converted to Islam, attempted a rising, Sultan Alau-d-din (the conquerer of Chitor) had all the males – from fifteen to thirty thousand of them – slaughtered in one day. Sultan Muhammad bin Tughlak acquired the throne by murdering his father became a great scholar and an elegant writer, dabbled in mathematics, physics and Greek philosophy, surpassed his predecessors in bloodshed and brutality, fed the flesh of a rebel nephew to the rebel’s wife and children, ruined the country with reckless inflation, and laid it waste with pillage and murder till the inhabitants fled to the jungle. We should let serving military personnel vote on this, they are most likely to feel the sting. And I would guarantee you this will be the focus for some attack on a convoy of aid workers, humanitarians, or even just some randomly selected group of Christians somewhere in the world. That’s why it’s a bad idea, not because it shows defiance to a hateful enemy.
But if they are going to burn them, I hope they burn lots.
It certainly is one of those finely balanced situations, and frankly, if you want outrage, then ask any conservative about their feelings towards the political left and their alliance with radical Islam. We in our own countries are expected to remain silent about our faith, we are asked to swallow all sorts of obviously anti-Christian legislation, but we are not to criticize the poster children of religious intolerance, the Muslims? They are to have fair trials but we are to go to jail for just thinking about how sinful abortion or homosexuality appear to us?
We live in basically a world turned upside down, shaken and thrown to the side of the road. Is it any wonder there is little “sense” to any public actions nowadays?
There has been much discussion about what would Jesus advise the Koran burners to do. I think He would say, listen, just hold off because I plan a lot more burning than just Korans.
I wonder how many koran’s the mussies burn when they blow up a masque. I think that any culture that gets there panties in a twist over this and not stoning Women is well should I say barbaric. It may be true there are moderate Muslims but they have no power so in reality the only Muslims that concern us are the one that want to kill us.
The reaction that will come from burning the book is the action that is coming anyway.
