According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

Any other reason to not call it the Lamestream Media? Profanestream Media?
It’s good to have the names of the media enablers who are responsible for the fraudulent POTUS and his unconstitutional regime.
During candidate public vetting, even the most tertiary questions of his background would have exposed his ineligibility for the office. Even normal media curiosity would have also turned up the corrupt Chicago political machine and its undermining of the DNC democratic process.
The media that suspected or had evidence of the fraud were silenced by their disparate fear of being stigmatized with the ‘racist’ label.
History will record the legacy of this POTUS as one of personal misrepresentation, gross ineptitude, dangerous naivity and policy disaster creating a political riff in the nation it hasn’t seen since the civil war. History will hold Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon et al responsible for this nation-killing disaster. Public contempt is not punishment enough for what they did to the country.
Yeah, will the CBC cover this story as well?
It’s always disturbing how graphic and violent the left talks when they think nobody’s listening, using images like smashing faces through windows, etc. They’re a crazy bunch.
I suppose it’s some consolation that it’s all verbal as none of them have the strength or courage to do anything in the physical world.
I wish this was mandatory reading for all Canadian & American high school students. It’s important. VERY Important!
It confirms my worst fears about the corruption & collusion of large swaths of the MSM. Never again will I question myself when I observe what appears to be the slanting of stories or the literal squashing of them by multiple media sources.
QOTD from Kenneth Minogue in The Liberal Mind, page 15:
“The psychological mark of ideological entrapment is the feeling of despair which accompanies the prospect of defeat in argument. Ideologies seek to avoid such painful experiences by framing their key utterances in a vague or tautological form, in order to make these propositions impregnable.”
It is gratifying that the “journolist” leak caused it to collapse. It was essentially underground but it’s exposure has provided a list of the conspirators. It is basically a busted crime ring.
The very same MSM manipulation that elected OBAMUGGABBE is suppressing this…quelle surprise…
The majority of the US public is totally unaware of this ring of seditionists….that is the correct label.
What is surprising is that it had a formal organisation…..rather than a word of mouth “old boy” network….
I suspect this was more than just a handfull of naive ideologs. It would not really be very surprising if key members of this “journolist” ring were foreign agents. It has all the usual hallmarks of such influence—-China? Saudi?
The “journolist” is just one of the many heads of the hard left MSM Hydra. As with the mythical Hydra, when you cut off one head, another will appear.
Anyone aware of similar list in Canada?
Or do we just do it the old fashioned way, time spent together at cocktail parties, in bars and sleeping together?
“Anyone aware of similar list in Canada?”
The CBC Staff Phone book ?
fred,
LOL, yes the CEEB has a definitie point of view. However, in all seriousness has anyone looked into whether there is an equivalent here. Journo-list was ideologically linked and co-ordinated but it crossed organizations and platfomrs. Bloggers and Newspaper columnists, I think it included TV people as well.
I have heard nary a peep out of Canada about this story….the silence is deafening. Maybe there is one but it exists on the right 😉
“The only way that the media will recover from the horrifying discoveries found in the Journolist is to investigate and investigate until every guilty reporter, professor and institution is laid bare begging America for forgiveness. Will they do it?”
~Andrew Breitbart
Beg for forgiveness?
No.
The “investigation”, if there is one, will be like the Penn State U investigation of Michael Mann.
They’ll be asked if the did anything wrong, they’ll say “NO”, and it will be concluded that they operated according to the current common practices and standards found globally in their field today.
Stephan; It exists on the right? Graduates of the Univ.of Regina on the right? Grads of the Univ’s in Ontario and BC on the right? Journalism profs that received their education in American universities on the right? You got to be kidding. When Nobel prizes are given out for man made global warming, which has been proven to be a hoax, and there isnt a cry for an investigation and headlines to force the recipients to return said prizes, then we all know what slant there is in Canadian news.
I’d be curious if there are any CBC names on that list.
“Anyone aware of similar list in Canada?”
Betty’s on King East on any given weeknight?
If anyone had the slightest iota of scruples, intelligence and objectivity, Obama might never have had the opportunity to ruin the US today. How many people gloss over his complete lack of experience? How many people “forget” that Trudeau gave the Nazi salute?
Rick,
As expected we do it the old fashioned way, in a bar and in the social circle.
Spike….I was being “puckish”. No the co-ordination of the shared story lines happens on the left side not the right. The right is too much like herding cats, sometimes the all head in the same direction but its the exception that proves the rule
“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
(Who watches the watchmen?) – Plato in The Republic, his opus on government and morality.
Is it really phenomenal that a person who was a student of the human condition 2400 years ago could make such startlingly pertinent statements applicable to modern society?
Plato eludes to the betrayal of trust by public watch dogs. I wish he could see how modern media has followed the predictable pattern he observed in ancient society.
