I’m thinking this summer the Swedish Folkfest season could be a lively one.
Contrast the behaviour of the thugs cheering on the attack on the cartoonist – they claim the space, own the room, own the ideas allowed to be expressed in the room – with the passive “oh dear…” behaviour of the native Swedes, and you have the larger picture in a nutshell.
Through their inaction the passive group – blondes, mostly – are either saying “hey, we’re not with him,” or “we were with him but now we feel threatened, so all bets are off.” Take your pick.
Question: is that sort of openly-displayed servility to thugs who oppose one’s nation’s – one’s culture’s – ideas likely to happen anywhere other than in the “West”?

5) The least possible in my mind. That Muslims & Europeans become an integrated society.

I know which one is the most probable, from my perspective. Ill leave it up to you to make up your own mind which is the most plausible scenario. I do know one thing. In all of them Democracy becomes the sacrificial lamb. We are entering an age of hard Men, & even harder choices. Our wealth has been frittered away by a generation who knew no end of greed. There are other red flags, things like family relationships (i.e. what other family members’ sensibilities are), country of origin (that’s a big one), schooling (a Madrassah? Where?) – all these things should be looked at. If there had been even a cursory vetting process of the sort I’m describing in place years ago I don’t think Omar Khadr’s family – and by extension, Omar himself – would be living in Canada.
