  1. The First American Prime Minster looks rather tired and old.
Harper looks youthful and alive compared to him.

  2. I still say this shifty eyed son of a bitch is about to steel someone’s purse and is looking for the nearest exit.

  3. For the first time in my life I hate someone!!! That SOB is in T/Bay eating a persian and here I sit an ex T/Bay guy in Red Deer where you can`t buy them. There is no justice in this world. I hope he gets icing on his shirt.
In case you don`t know and havn`t guessed you can only get them in the T/Bay area and they are aaawwwsummmm.

  4. I know you were asking for photo shop, but I think the look on his face is:
“Do I have to eat the whole thing? This peasant food is disgusting! Where’s Kinsella? Was this his idea?”

  5. Thank goodness my parents took me from this second class plebian backwards country when I was 6 weeks old so I could be raised in civilized society.
THIS is what these peasants call fun food?

  6. “I took one bite, is that not enough”?
Poor Iggy, his digestion must be upset having to eat all that junk ordinary folks can pronounce.

  7. My daughter’s Rottie has the same expression when another dog gets too close to her treat too.

  8. Two captions come to mind..
“Once again Iggy is forced to eat his words on supporting a coalition”
“This thing is harder to swallow than the Green Shift”

  9. Off Topic On Topic, I dunno you decide
Yesterday’s Power Play had Jeff Norquay on with his Liberal counterpart, Jeff made mention that Macleans has done quite an article friday on Liberal MP’s making cheque presentations when they were in power.
this is at Macleans.ca follow the current article on Ignatieff for the link to that article w/photos
there are also quite a few comments on that article.
On the same type of issue, I recall last Yr. here in Ontario the Liberal McGuinty Govt changing the Ontario Logo, This caused quite an Uproar. Why ? because the New Ontario Logo Strangely resembles the Ontario Liberal Logo.
Dont believe me just go to the Ontario Govt. site Then open a new page & put up Ontario Liberal Party
    Compare.

  10. Somebody better have a damn good vintage of french wine for me to wash down this peasant food! Gawd! The things I must do to endear myself to the lowly hordes!

  11. How many more times must I humble myself for the peasants with these eat and greet sessions? My royal ancestors would be ashamed!

  12. When I was a kid, I worked at an Italian restaurant as a busboy. I was generally worked to death and treated like dirt. But whenever I took a meal break (dinner on the house) they treated me like a king, suddenly becoming friendly and deferential. I thought that was very classy, and it stuck with me. I leave people alone while they’re eating, and I expect the same.
I’ve noticed the media tend to follow same policy (one of the last areas where they still have standards). Unless the food itself is the story, such shots are considered off limits.
Nobody looks good when they eat, and the opportunities for “gotcha” shots are many.
    Just my opinion.

  13. The damn newspaper cropped the photo so it wouldn’t show his elitist Hahvarhd pinky in the air like my granny sipping her tea!

until the media goes off your side, then they look for embarrassing opportunities. Stanfields Fumble etc.
the media are offside on Iggy. they want him out as the lieberals are slipping and they cant stand it. what you must do , do quickly

  15. “Reminds me of those gruesome perogies Babushka used to feed us back on the Collective Farm…Plebians!”

  16. Rex Murphy makes a good point, unlike this post, here:
    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/opinions/michael-ignatieff-should-think-outside-the-green-box/article1327161/
Sound advice for Mr Ignatieff I believe, in one of Rex’s better efforts. Will he listen to Rex?
Or, does he have tin political ear, like Mr Dion? I hope Rex is right and the hysteria over catastrophic global warming can end, though unfortunately not stale dated like Y2K.
I wonder if Mr Harper might just be our PM for the next 20 years or so. But then again, Jack Layton can always hand over votes to the Liberals, like the last election, so who knows.

  17. It screams Count Iggula! Cal2 read my mind.
Some arteest in SDA flying monkey land has GOT to photoshop that into some woman’s neck.
Next question, who does the Count want to bite? Has to be a woman, because say what you want about the Count, he ain’t gay. Maybe metrosexual, but straighy waity. You know, guy but with a manicure.

  18. Bluetech.
Persians are a type of donut dough rolled like a cinnamon roll and deep fried. they have a hint of cinnamon & nutmeg and a creme icing. The best ones are from Bennetts Bakery but almost every bake shop and bakery in Thunder Bay makes them.
Whenever someone in the family goes home for a vacation or someone comes out west to see us they pack a few dozen frozen persians and we have a feast or two when they get here.

  19. I don’t know if a snake offered it to Iggy, but it obviously isn’t the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge.

  20. Would make a perfect false face for Hallowe’en.
Imagine opening the door to one of those monsters yelling trick or treat.
(One photo and an election could be lost.)
