I just heard on the radio that Obama snubbed Harper pretty bad. The reporter said the treatment Harper received was “demeaning”. He wasn’t greeted at the car personally by Obama, and it went on from there.
Obama is still wildly popular in Canada. Is the Lib. War room and the compliant media trying to paint Harper as someone without influence, someone whose icky conservative ideals has alienated the Perfect One south of the border? Is this publicity coup a favour the Obama administration might grant to a left-wing party in another country?
Perhaps the Obama administration just incompetent concerning proper protocols; it made many “demeaning” protocol mistakes with the Brit PM and Queen as well.

You know every time Harper meets Obama (especially at the White House) or goes to a G20 meeting, speaks at the UN Iggy goes absolutely squirelly. Iggy didnt come back to set fishery policy, he came back to strut his stuff internationally.
I just wonder whether Iggy will be able to stand it of the Cons survive till next Spring…will he be spiteful enough to callan election heading into the G8 hoping he can grab it…..my bet is yes, because thats his ball and he wants it.
