Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch and it’s “a cultural thing that’s come from back home.”
A LONDON woman has been warned that she is at risk of being murdered after a man had acid poured down his throat by a gang in an apparent “honour crime”.
The young married Muslim woman is alleged to have had an affair with the victim, a 24-year-old Danish Asian. He was stabbed twice in the back and beaten with bricks, before acid was poured all over him and forced down his throat.
He was blinded and his tongue destroyed in the attack, and he is on life support in hospital with burns to 90 per cent of his body. Seven people have since been arrested.
The woman and the victim both live in east London’s Asian community, and their relationship is believed to have angered her family by bringing dishonour upon them.

Just for one day wouldn’t it be nice to read a newspaper or watch TV news and there were no stories about outrages involving Muslim fundamentalists. Why in hell are we importing them into Canada?
Apropos: http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/fullcomment/archive/2009/07/25/robert-fulford-western-feminists-mute-on-ravages-of-shariah.aspx
and yet there are still people who think muslims will change and adopt western values. would that be naive or just plain stupid?
We have the MSM pussyfooting around the honour killing story here in Ontario of the deaths of 3 Afghan teenage girls and an older woman found in a car in the Rideau Canal at Kingston. The father, mother and son were arrested at the airport trying to scram out of the country last week. This sort of thing isn’t going away any time soon….it has been imported into this country and is now here to stay thanks to PET.
and maybe death in a pool in gananoque.
Most Merciful. Check.
I keep loving the use of the term “Asian”. “…a 24-year-old Danish Asian”, forsooth. Sounds like a pastry, not a kid who’s been tortured and maimed for life. However long that is, it doesn’t sound like he’s going to pull through.
How heinous does a crime have to be before the multi-culti creepoids in government and media cut the crap?
Just a suggestion Kate. When posting similar stories happening in Canada, you might want to start them with “In Pierre Trudeau’s Canada where terrorist caper unmolested and we have way more pavilions at folk fests….”
Well, you could probably come up with something better.
It’s not the most important part of the story, but the horrific, meticulous sadism of these killings really stands out. Okay, you want to get rid of somebody, just shoot them! What sort of psycho takes the time and effort to pour acid down someone’s throat?
(BTW, that’s not an endorsement of either method…)
If we can’t control these anamilas here what the hell are we doing in Afganistan?
A cultural thing? A barbaric culture, then.
hudson duster asks: “What sort of psycho takes the time and effort to pour acid down someone’s throat?”
That’s an interesting question, actually. There’s a classification system for these kinds of things. I couldn’t find it in a quick Google, but I do recall that the choice of acid as a weapon says a lot about the attacker, or in this case gang of attackers. It doesn’t speak well for their mental equilibrium, let’s just say.
Acid attacks are not at all uncommon in Muslim countries. Fire is another favorite in these honor killing deals, very common in India when somebody wants to get rid of a wife or daughter in law.
Also of note, these killings are winked at by the Pakistan government. Regarding the burying alive of three teenaged girls, a Pakistan parliamentarian had this to say:
“In Pakistan’s national parliament, an MP from Baluchistan, Israrullah Zehri, said on Friday that “this action was carried out according to tribal traditions”, a view backed up by some other male lawmakers, who attacked a woman senator who had raised the case.
“These are centuries-old traditions and I will continue to defend them,” Zehri added over the weekend.”
Here in Canada we have a centuries old tradition of hanging people who do stuff like that. A tradition I’d consider reviving specially for honor killers. Normally I support capital punishment only in cases where the evidence is absolutely irrefutable, such as the Greyhound Bus killing. But for this I’d make an exception and accept merely conclusive proof.
“These are centuries-old traditions and I will continue to defend them”
Yes I’m a traditionalist too, I still wish for the good old days when a murderer was drawn and quartered.
“You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You follow your custom. And then we will follow ours.” – General Charles Napier – British general and Commander-in-Chief in India – 1842 – 1851
Do they have Asian gangs in London? In other news, the youtube video of the badass Koreans in LA during the riot, has been taken down for a terms of use violation.
“Local Muslim community leader Imtiaz Qadir said: “Honour crime happens a lot in our community, especially the Pakistani community, but we do try to educate the people.”
We keep being told that this isn’t a Muslim thing and here’s a Muslim saying it is a Muslim thing. It’s all so very confusing.
Here’s a novel idea for the socialist race bating police, arrest the family members who pose the greatest threat to her and keep them in jail until they go before the courts on a charge of planning a homicide.

I keep loving the use of the term “Asian”.
A valid point. I’ve seen several blogs from the UK questioning the “Asian” characterization of all Middle Eastern and Muslim populations in general.
It’s purely to muddy the waters of perception towards Muslims by re-categorizing standard or accepted definitions. After all everyone generally accepts Asian’s in their communities, due to their hard work ethics, sense of fair play (not requiring special entitlements) and quite existence within their chosen countries. Despite cultural differences, Asian peoples do not force their personal beliefs on others, nor do they militantly try to change the existing establishments. They seem to be well satisfied with the current status quo wherever they immigrate.
The liberal left would have us use this model of immigrant to apply to all Muslim cultures as a blanket acceptance. Not all cultures and peoples are equal, they know it and we know it.
Here’s a Wiki link for quick reference to “Asian” defined by society (sorry it’s Wiki, but the point is that plain).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_people
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Asian
I also wonder when we’ll find a new label for real “Asians”. My girlfriend’s from China, and she doesn’t appreciate being lumped in with people who wear feedbags on their heads, and threaten to behead the very people who sign their welfare cheques.
“The ELDERLY people have found it hard to adjust to society in England.”
Seven YOUNG men have been arrested over the attack.”
Do they laugh at themselves writing this stuff?
Anyone know how this story ended? Did the Lesbian couple end up with moving expenses paid by the Doctor (from Egypt) who refused to take them as patients?
Winnipeg
Slightly off topic but interesting when the left is caught in their own snare.
Just a suggestion Kate. When posting similar stories happening in Canada, you might want to start them with “In Pierre Trudeau’s Canada where terrorist caper unmolested and we have way more pavilions at government-funded folk fests….”
Well, you could probably come up with something better.

Largs. I like it. Although, I made one small change in bold. I hope you like it.
Shhh, all you people posting above. You might p#ss off a Liberal.
seems the insanity left over when communism collapsed has officially found a new home.
“Local Muslim community leader Imtiaz Qadir said: “Honour crime happens a lot in our community, especially the Pakistani community, but we do try to educate the people.”
“Educate the people”? To do what? Use bleeding-heart PC liberalism to get away with heinous crimes?
“the government packs your school lunch”
You put a negative sound to it, then what it is. The are drawbacks yes but they also poorly implemented it and took too much of a one sided approach. But free school meals for children is a good thing and would work well here on a small–targeted scale and not a blanketed approach.
It doesn’t need such a socialistic (/dependent) approach.
http://www.michaelfieldsaginst.org/programs/food/case_study.pdf
Take a look at this case study in the U.S. before you form an opinion as the results aren’t based in a “Left-wing vs. Right-wing” solution.
http://www.michaelfieldsaginst.org/programs/food/
^For more info and projects/programs/systems of implementation.
You have to be wholistic in how you approach these sorts of things by applying what WORKs as oppose to what is scene as “left or right” or “socialist or capitalist”.
I don’t see this as a partisan issue. So long as it isn’t implemented by the lefties here who would try to trumpet it in a partisan fashion (like they do with virtually h everything) while poorly implementing it and creating more jobs for friends as they like to do in virtually every area of public service even when little to no public service would actually be needed let alone expanded.
There are lots of useful elements to the study throughout its development and many of the things it accomplishes could be done here through various means without heavy government involvement, if any at all. [If approached in the right manner.]
This could spawn all sorts of beneficial pilot projects that could use different implementations to see what works best as some aspects may work better in other areas of the country then others or be easier to implement with less government involvement then what would be required in other places/situations/communities be they rural or urban.
What this could mean if something similar is implemented here voluntarily as a pilot program either through the provinces or to specific rural communities.
I think after a thorough and frank debate over all possible solutions in how to best customize each targeted project for each community that chooses to make use of such options, we would help:
* Less time spent by parents in both the purchase and preparation of their child’s school meal(s) (including breakfast)
* Healthier food options for students while relieving parents of such pressures.
* Less child poverty which will eventually lead to less crime and delinquency. [and eventually less expenditure/expansion needed on dealing with crime generations from now for those individual communities]
* Higher educational standards, student participation & attendance rates.
This study examines both the pro’s and con’s of implementing a pilot program like this while at the same time offering us much insight into improving the standards of education for students and their willingness to learn.
While effectively lowering child poverty and thus nips the bud of most criminal behaviors amongst minors before such issues begin to bloom.
Though the time saved for parents not having to shop/prepare their child/minors food before school is a side bonus, the long term effects of higher educated students and less crime as well as lower poverty rates is what is the main objective to consider.
What this will not and should not lead to is government run and controlled programs. Which also wouldn’t even make sense Federally. Hence the non-blanket approach. A national program wouldn’t make sense and wouldn’t meet the flexibility that would be required for implementation.
and their relationship is believed to have angered her family by bringing dishonour upon them.
Now they have the Law on them. lets hope it sticks. The end of this entire story with Islam is going to end up in seas of blood. Its always this way when dealing with Barbarians. Just read some history.
Took 7-9 of these back stabbers to go after one guy? I now know who will eventually win, & it ain’t the Moon gods mad prophits followers.
What do you expect though from folks who use children, or mentally deficent people to blow up innocents along with them. Who hide amoung civilians or in Womens cloths. Its quite obvious that Western politicians are out of thier depth or understanding of this war monger Religion.

Taylor, did you miss the part about the kid having acid pored down his throat?
RTFN, eh?
Taylor Cutforth @ 3.57
In stead of generating expensive government programs ie; the “free lunch” How about we just hire a bunch of extremely large brutal guys/girls to go to the homes of kids that don’t have lunch and plant the parent between the eyes. That should cure the problem.
Man, I cannot wait to bring back some of the old traditions from other ancient cultures. Like executing scumbags on the spot.
And then some of them have the gall to complain about people automatically linking “honour killings” to the Muslim community …
taylor
you choose to address the “title” , which Kate uses only as a catigorizing indicator. Thusly you have read way too much into it!
Now as these “programs” you babble about, I have a h!ll-of-a-suggestion, parents should look after their own, or not have them, I know that sounds radical, but it sure worked before all these leftard programs became sooooo popular
AND
the topic is honor killings/mamings
and I for one agree with those before me, hang the b*stards that do this, and consider long jail terms for those who support/enable/promote this type of thing
that’s honor killins/maimings:-)))
Funny there was no mention of muslims on the Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporate website….
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/8165349.stm
Taylor, my parents group up in the tail-end of the great depression and a world war. They had ration books which entitled one to such things as third grade meat, teaspoons of butter and buttons, but not necessarily delivered such goods to them. They still ate three meals a day, went to school, did their chores and partook in life as much as they could. They went on to raise a well-fed family with little money.
Your welfare programs will not work, especially not if we don’t examine the reasons for the underlying problems. Is there a grave environmental disaster which wiped out the country’s staple food (ie- rice)? Is there poverty? Is there neglect? If children are going hungry for breakfast, chances are they are going hungry all day. We could give the kids a bowl of cereal but that would make ourselves feel good, not the children because we did not create nor enforce a proper environment in which they could feed themselves or be fed by their parents.
Honor killings & indeed suicide bombings are a clear mono-cultural issue.
Meaning Islam is culturally responsible for both issues, regardless of where it lairs.
India as an exception majority non Muslim society which also utilizes so called “honor killings” through other cultural ideologies, again the bases is the belief of the inferiority of women in their society (cast system). This would include the bride burnings, widow burnings and foeticide (aborting female fetuses after confirmation of sex with an ultra sound).
Any “Asian” countries that commonly practice “Honor or Suicide killings” are Islamic countries i.e. Indonesia, or African countries such as the Sudan, with the exception of course of North American & European countries such as Canada & the UK.
The best part is that Islam is working out its little problem with our laws and introducing its newest version of peace, honor and love in the form of “Honor Suicides”. It certainly does save the family all those financial legal hassles in the west to be sure………….who would have guessed?

Nothing and I mean nothing burns my tractor driving ass more than Nanny state free lunch/breakfast programs. What does that instil in children? A) The state is responsible for feeding you and B) The value of food is “0”$ because it is free.
Sorry to go off topic…

• Less time spent by parents in both the purchase and preparation of their child’s school meal(s)
You don’t want to look after your children, better for the world if you have none.
If you are a parent it is up to you, children are not pets to be dropped off at a whim.
• Healthier food options for students while relieving parents of such pressures.
It is a priory the job of the parents to look after their children, if you don’t want pressure in your life go jump in the lake or something.
• Less child poverty which will eventually lead to less crime and delinquency.
It is the job of the parents to see to it that children are behaving and know right from wrong not from left.
• Higher educational standards, student participation & attendance rates.
One can suppose that he threw that in just to impress his superiors at the institution which has very likely something to do with government grants or government job.
Apropos to the point made by JMD at the top of this page – remember a time when every third headline in the newspaper didn’t involve Islam?
I do. Only 10 years ago. A decade ago this problem was under the radar. Now Islam related issues are in our face. Every day. Everywhere in the world. And getting worse. Why are we watching as this certain source of future greater problems continues its encroachment?
What does Islam give our society, even the smallest benefit, that makes it worth permitting, and even encouraging, its entrance into our relatively peaceful land.
Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Us.
I understand your arguments but what the hell guys, read the information before you pounce.
My post wasn’t a flame or against the blog post above or a reply to the acid attack. I didn’t need to address the acid attack myself since I knew plenty of others would and well.
I wanted to draw attention to the issue he brought up with free school meals.
I like how some of you mindlessly shot it down like you know all there is to know on the subject…
Sorry to the blog owner for seemly hi-jacking the conversation a little but its not like her blog post subject won’t be thoroughly discussed elsewhere and even here.
Serves me right for posting on a fringe blog?
Thanks for the “nanny-state” comments, I forgot folks like you don’t get out of your own holes once in awhile.
Please make an effort not to scare away some of the swing voters next election with your reactionary “crapping out the mouth” like some of you just did.
I can’t get over how you mindlessly jump to the conclusions while not even for a second grasping the potential of such programs if run in partnership with the private sector and local producers/businesses.
Rather than just voice what you think may be wrong with a certain approach to an issue, [even without reading the material provided] try using that same brain of yours to think of the positives and how such policy ideas meant benefit you or your area if needed.
“In stead of generating expensive government programs”
~ Tony W.
Had you actually taken the time to read the PDF you’d see how they used the private sector to actually make a profit as well.
Which is always an option and what I was saying is that to there are various means of achieving this efficiently even while reducing costs and improving the education of students.
These were the students no one else wanted and had all sorts of issues that impaired them. Violent delinquents and such.
Read the PDF (there is an html version) and you see how much of a successful change was made. I’ll leave it at that so you can read for yourselves as I’m sure I’ll miss some of the details and don’t wish to copy and paste the everything as my comment is big enough as it is… I aheh, wouldn’t want to overwhelm some of you like I clearly have.
I’m sure some of you have blew enough fuzes and perhaps lost a few bolts in the process from the strain so I’ll stop there and hope for the best.
^sorry for the all brick work above, I’ll have to make my own blog and spare everyone the need to read my ridiculously long comments. (which are occasionally on topic).
Glengarian, I must concur sir. One would have to be as oblivious to life as Mr. Taylor seems to be, to think that in a country such as ours, where welfare and literally hundreds of government programs, charities and food banks provide free money, free food, free education, free lodging, free bus fare, free free FREE, to believe forsooth that the problem of hungry children amidst this bountiful free-ness could be solved with a free lunch. Egad, I say.
Or indeed that the problem of young women being murdered by their families could be solved by multi-cultural “sensitivity”.
Pardon me, I meant to say Mr. Taylor Cutforth.
On topic, if you please sir…
watch for a huge increase in ‘honour’ killings.
the muzzies this side of the atlantic are getting cocky. there’s a whole mentality goes with the territory and that’s what we have on our hands thanx to pierre turdea mode of thinking.
24 years old is not really a kid. When you have sexual relations with another man’s wife, you are violating well established bonds and inviting disaster. While I do not advocate the horror that occurred, I would bet that the Asian Danish will think twice about committing such an act in the future!
Far be it for me to point out/remind that the article did not specify that this Danish Asian was having sexual relations with this woman.
It is relevant that the Taliban executed women in their soccer stadiums for the infraction of speaking with a man—-who was not their husband or relative……
remember these practitioners of the religion of peace will flog a woman for exposing their hair or an ankle………
Taylor, you are not just stupid, you are beyond stupid. Invincibly stupid, even.
The topic under discussion is not school lunches; it’s a horrific “honour” crime in Britain, where the all-pervasive socialist nanny state actually enables such practices, and actively discourages any attempts at self defense. Kate uses the “foxes caper…” line routinely when posting news stories about the decline of civility in Britain. It’s simply one of her stylistic trademarks.
By the way, it’s not surprising at all that a private contractor supplying school lunches, paid for by taxpayer dollars, would make a handsome profit. Politically-connected contractors in every sort of enterprise often make huge profits off sweetheart deals with various levels of government. Some Quebec ad agencies come to mind here, heh.
As for the real topic under discussion, I believe that what is needed is a non-governmental organization, perhaps a charity, to defend and protect Muslim women (and the occasional male) who are at risk of this sort of thing. Call it “Muslimas in Crisis” or some such thing. First order of business would be to provide secure shelters for women under threat, with armed guards where necessary. It wouldn’t hurt to have some off-the-books muscle to perform attitude adjustment on the would-be perpetrators of such crimes as well. Not that I’d suggest doing anything unlawful, of course. Second order of business would be to make strong efforts to deprogram the victims (or potential victims) out of the cult of Islam. Into almost any other religion, or into none at all. Even Scientology would be preferable to the more whacked-out cults of Islam. Third order of business would be to create new identities for the threatened persons, and resettle them in towns far distant from their old family members. Getting them out of the cult of Islam would be a huge help in resettling them, as it would reduce the risk of them having a chance encounter with someone from their former life. Not to mention that it would be a stick in the eye of the Islamists, and that’s always a good thing.
taylor
when you blather on about your nanny state nonsence in here, you might try considering that you may be preaching to the pope
so take home with you and leave us to laugh at you
I’m just getting ready mentally and physically to handle the apocalypse that’s obviously headed our way.
They seem like such decent folk. Lets bring in more of them to Canada to “spice up” the deranged dominion…
As an African, though, I have to say, I never met a problem an AK47 couldn’t solve on the spot.
I (quietly) confess I often miss the rugged simplicity and inherent beauty of African tribal justice…
