  5. My main problem is that courting in these terms reinforces the point that being a Muslim nation is an important point, as opposed to be a nation of muslims.
    He is trying to say we arent at war with Islam….true. How do you demonstrate it if thats your point. The only way is to never be at war with any muslim nation. This is the right point said the wrong way.
    I am curious who Obama will say the US is at war with. That will be interesting if he even addresses that point in his speech.

  8. These comments by Obama will make a great republican ad for the 2010 & 2012 elections. He only needs to lose 4% of the voter to lose re-election…”Mission Accomplished”. Do not lose sight of the fact that he only had 53% of the vote with a financial crisis, Bush at 27%, the media in the bag, and a 76 yr old opponent.

  13. Without some form of illiberal confrontation (or demographic reversal) of Islam, a 20 year old American today will see a majority Muslim population around retirement. The rest of the West will see that sooner.

Granted, the MSM has done a good job in suppressing any sort of coverage ahead of time (and the little coverage they did provide was derisive at best). but how out of touch is the Community Organizer in Chief, really?

    He was unaware that he was attending a church (for 20 years) with a racist pastor who hates America.
    He was unaware that he was family friends with, and started his political career in the living room of, a domestic terrorist.
    He was unaware that he had invested in two speculative companies backed by some of his top donors right after taking office in 2005.
    He was unaware that his own aunt was living in the US illegally.
    He was unaware that his own brother lives on pennies a day in a hut in Kenya.
    He was unaware of the AIG bonuses that he and his administration approved and signed into a bill.
    He was unaware that the man he nominated to be his Secretary of Commerce was under investigation in a bribery scandal.
    He was unaware that the man he nominated to be his Secretary of Health and Human Services was a tax cheat.
    He was unaware that the man he nominated to be his Secretary of the Treasury was a tax cheat.
    He was unaware that the man he nominated to be the U.S. Trade Representative was a tax cheat.
    He was unaware that the woman he nominated to be his Chief Performance Officer was a tax cheat.
    He was unaware that the man he nominated to be #2 at the Environmental Protection Agency was under investigation for mismanaging $25 million in EPA grants.
    Honestly, there are people in comas who are more aware of world affairs than this guy.

  22. Obama is a manipulator. His agenda is singular and basic – to put you in his control.
    He’ll lie, doubletalk, blame others, make pompous promises – anything, to achieve that goal. He’ll accuse you of bias, racism, any other guilt-inducing fault, to bend you to his will.
    That’s his only agenda. He has no patriotism for America, no feeling of loyalty to it. His sole focus is on himself, and his control of others.
    If he can’t control you – at first, he’ll try to harass you into his control. Then, he’s quite capable of trying to destroy you, either by soft put-downs (eg, his insults to the UK PM) or hard strategies to destroy you. Finally, if he can’t control you, he’ll consider that you don’t exist; literally don’t exist.
    His attitude to the Islamic world is based on his agenda of getting them to personally ‘adore’ him. He totally ignores that they are trapped in a 7th century tribal infrastructure that sets them up in direct conflict with modern democracies. He’s not interested. His only agenda is personal; can the population be moved into a state of adulation towards him?
    Dangerous? Yes – but we must remember that he’s being set up as the Front Man for a backroom cabal, and these are the ones who are out to destroy the freedoms of America.

    It doesn’t matter who calls Zero on his BS.
    The MSM won’t print anything that is going to hurt Zero.
    Why?
    Because the MSM made Zero. They created him.
    If the MSM starts to report bad things about Zero, it will be the same as admitting they are/were wrong and that isn’t going to happen.
    It would be catastrophic to their credibility.

    And, I’m pretty sure he “felt” that what he had said was correct. Where are his researchers and advisors? OBH seems to be surrounded by people who are just as much idiots as he is.
    OBH sure is looking through a glass darkly: It’s as though he’s on the other side of a two-way mirror, one in which we can see him but in which he can’t see us. He really seems to think he can do and say anything he wants, regardless of its connection to reality, without our calling him to account.
    I suspect that that’s been the story of his affirmative-action life. Why should anything change now that he’s the President of the United States? Far from seeing his position as one of service and due diligence, he regards it as his entitlement to power.
    The guy scares the Hell out of me.

  31. Heard a Muslim on FOX radio who said Obama was going about this all wrong.
    She said Obama should remind the Muslim world that the US put their soldiers on the line in defence of Muslims and point out that the common enemy of normal Muslims and the US are the radicals.
    Considering the asswipes can poll only about 5% in any elections, she may have a point.

The country that gave them so much, they hate. The conspiracy theorist in me says it’s a set-up and it got swallowed hook, line and sinker by the country to a snakeoil salesman.

  39. favill- the strange ‘youth’ who is President of USA is NOT a Black-American, he is a White-American. The guy who lopes around in that soft jointed, out of kilter, ‘playboy’ fashion gets all his black roots from Kenya. He is a Black-Kenyan, his Dad was a British subject because GB owned Kenya when Mr. 0 was, according to his Black-Kenyan Grandma, born there. Any references to any ties the present President might have to the Old South are fictional (although apparently some of his Mom’s folks owned a few slaves before the Civil War).
    Like our visiting leader of the Puffins, Ignatieff, the loss of the easy, slave based lifestyle (Present President’s family in the Old South and Ignatieff’s in Old Russia) has made the ‘entitled’ offspring bitter and resentful. Their type do not know how to work for a living, they only know how to make other people work for them.
