“[CBC] Newsworld will not necessarily wait for the definitive word on a story before beginning to report, the meeting was told.
Bonus from the Globe’s comments thread, the Quote Of The Week!
L. van Dyk from Canada writes: “I was raised on the CBC. It’s intelligent. Much of the language skills I now have I got from listening to them.”
h/t Ian.

He may not be twelve, but his ability to reason likely doesn’t extend very far beyond someone of that age, similar to most Leftists. The trolls seem to fallen silent as of late…
think we had firs election to find some group as premier or sanators in House now
do we need to have some miniroty or some reglion to have senator or premir or member in the house
main thing all problmes must be heard
by house from peopel to let peopel go to member of parlementa nd ssay their opinon
always majority is not work in house of comment
but being PM need you bein majroity otherwise it get so much conflict of interest and is some thing went wrong PM can blame to hosue not to him as majority to made that decision
next is to choose fair election only for PM.
may be need to method of ecltion
with 5 group to choose from still one may go to
minirity
may be election need to first go to all
then narrow down and let peopel if nto gain
go to one narrow to second round untill majority for pm get elected used exampel all world election
not necesaary USA i mean chang election to method more creditable and more reasonable and find out
voting not get mess up like before election

By “language skills” he obviously means “big words neither of us understand,” like ‘intelligence’.
That van Dyk person reminds me of when I was much younger (like eighteen and earlier) and had yet to learn anything about the real world. Back then I simply believed what I hear on the MSM and whatever I was told by whomever.
I now know that most folks out there as well as the MSM and even “educators” usually don’t know what they’re talking about.
Patronizing the CBC will only lead to brainwashing.
I bet van Dyk also believes that the CBC is “sophisticated”, “urbane”, “progressive”, “open-minded”, “ground-breaking”, etc., you name all the utterly meaningless fancy adjectives Leftists just love to parrot when talking about themselves and their comrades…
It suggests that they’ve nothing to say other than parroting the big words they heard other Leftists utter, as if merely saying them is saying something, which it isn’t. They utter big, fancy words but really aren’t saying (or even thinking) anything at all.
BTW, van Dyke sounds a bit like Stephane Dion, doesn’t (s)he? A bit more intelligent, though…
Canadian Sentinel, the MSM “talks down” to the populace.
My job typically involves doing a lot of actual complicated stuff (as opposed to artificially complicated stuff).
First thing I do is cut out the crap, make myself available, be humble and explain to others what needs to be done in a respectful tone.
This approach, while it has worked for me (and many others in my business countless times) is not in the best interests of the MSM.
Watches too much Star Wars this L. van Dyck does me thinks.
And all this time I thought Dion was French.
