  4. This is good to see. Unfortunately the granola crowd will just move on to another manufactured crisis. I wonder if Gore has stopped laughing at the fools that he has fleeced. Al got his revenge,from the ones who voted for him by taking their money,easy pickings there,and from the rest of us in so many other ways.

  7. Web site “Icecap” found it strange that NBC, owned by General Electric, has been pushing the green agenda all week yet fires this Weather Channel crew that also pushes the green. It must be about money, Icecap concludes.
    General Electric, you see, is into alternative energy products and to make money from these, needs to have traditional energy sources taxed or regulated out of business. Thus we have GE-owned NBC pimping a green agenda all this past week. Despite being on side with this agenda, the Weather Channel show had a meagre audience and was not making money. So it got axed.
    Green is the prime imperative, alright — the green of US dollars. “Saving the earth” is secondary.

  9. Did not Warren Buffet buy golden shares in GE. His company owns American Express and they have asked for a 3.6 billion bailout. Warren Buffet and Bill Gates were in Northern Alberta checking out the oil sands as the media stated. I do not this was the case, I think they were checking out the feasibility of putting in Nuclear power plants instead.
    I also read somewhere that GE owns Fox News and affiliates. Just wondering if anybody has heard or read anything on this.

  12. Hopefully the Harper governmemt will follow suite at the CBC. A great place to start would be to cull the BS announcers that have been polluting the broadcasting in this country for decades.

  15. In the Okanagan we’ve had cut backs to the local Global station, CHBC. Ironically, the local station was popular and profitable. Why don’t they cut the big guys? Maybe, because small local TV doesn’t reflect the big corporate liberal liars.
