And in the eyes of the “Progressives”, to not murder your child is the action of a mindless breeder.
As a friend said to me today, “We are living in a Spiritual Battleground.”
Strange stuff indeed to murder babies and feel good about it.
Cjunk, thank you for this post. My wife and my daughter are alive because their birth moms put human life ahead of their fears and comfort. To deny these two precious souls the opportunity to experience and contribute to our world would have been a horrible crime. We are all unfathomably poorer from the merciless actions the sanitized grim reaper called abortion unleashed on our planet.
Because two birth moms believed in the sanctity of human life I have a family…and so does our community…and so does our country. We are all better off as a result.
Can there be anyone more fragile and in need of our protection than these poor little innocents?
And Obama throws them under the bus.
Actually the reality is far worse than the literal meaning of under the bus.
Being left to die while medical professionals stand by and watch it happen.
I have dual citizenship and have lived in Canada most of my 71 years. This is the first time I have sent in a registration form for an abstentee ballot so I can have a vote. Unfortunately, it will be sent to Detroit and because of voter fraud it will probably get lost.
I have never felt such anger towards a candidate in my life. This guy is a fraud – doesn’t matter what colour he is, he is deceitful, a marxist and was not vetted at all. The DNC really messed up big time with this guy and if he wins that election it will take the USA longer to right the wrongs than it is taking us to fix Trudeau’s mess. He’s real bad news.

How true . Robo-Medics & flesh mechanics. What ever happened to our caring physicians? Too think our so called healers are now at the forefront of euthanasia movement. Hear that BOOMERS. All we will have now for retirement is a needle in the neck unless rich or your children care more about you than money.
Fained tolerance & anxiety for the group called able seniors, until its deemed by a medical professional your quality of life is such, putting you down like the family cat is the States final mercy. Think I’m nuts.? Just wait long enough, as it is they have even thrown out the Hippocratic oath. Now we get what I call Angles of death. You must admit though being a physician in a Nation that promotes suicide for pain control, or sucking a babies brains out while being born. Drugging school kids while doing the same to older people. Is the perfect environment for a serial killing monster. It may almost be an incubation chamber for new ones to arise. How bought those wonderful Marxists in china cutting out healthy peoples organs for scrap. I bet those doctors are a laugh riot.
This ad will kill Osama’s chances, for the simple reason that people are catching on to this culture of death we have allowed ferment. Sarah Plain shows a different way. This is what is driving the life haters crazy. She is going to be a phenomena among young girls who see themselves as tough & free. Suddenly a strong Women can have kids, plus have compassion for a child with problems. Culminating in her running for a prestigious office at the same time. This is dynamite & the NOW cows with the rest of the herd they run in are terrified.
To the totalitarians we are all disposable, only ideology with a fantastical Utopia means anything.
dolly, I have a co-worker who is a dual citizen. I’m trying to get him to vote as we agree on many things politically. What is the process for registration form for an absentee ballot? Do you have any web-links I can send him?
I’m 37 years old. In my younger days, I was adamantly pro-choice. In the last 3 years, I have been blessed with two healthy sons, now 27 and 10 months old.
While I’m still pro-choice, I am now much more pro-life. I wish there were more support programs in place for mothers of unplanned children. Abortion should not be outlawed, but it’s a national disgrace the topic cannot even be discussed without being labeled as some kind of neo-con bigot.
I admire Sarah Palin and her family for supporting their daughter Bristol. God bless them for their support of life. I like to think I’d make the same choice as a parent should one of my children have an “accident.” Barring that, I’d like to think I’d encourage my child to bring the child to term, and give up for adoption to a loving family. Life is precious, and we as a society are far to laissez-faire with respect to termination of unwanted pregnancies.
Barry Obama:
“I think that whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity is above my pay grade,”
Peggy Noonan has a perfect and concise response for anyone that espouses such ignorance:
“Everyone who ever bought a pack of condoms knows when life begins.”

Obama is just proving himself to be an adept student of the ancient Roman law of the Twelve Tables:
“Cito necatus insignis ad deformitatem puer esto.” (An obviously deformed child must be put to death).
With all those tax increases to finance bread and circuses, maybe he does think he is running for Consul, or maybe just Tribune. If he got the government to stage gladiator fights though, that would be cool. At any rate, someone should gently suggest to him that presidential office is not like a four-year reality version of “I Claudius”.
How the progressives hate Palin. How dare she allow her son Trig, who has down syndrome, to live. It must eat away at them that this strong female whose child they see as a perfect candidate for their human abattoirs, is loved and cherished by her, and her family. She actually gives them a double slap in the face by supporting her teenage daughter to carry her baby, instead of opting for the popular choice among progressives, honour killing.
qwerty1, that website is – http://www.votefromabroad.org. Tell your friend to just follow the step by step instructions.
How I wish that such an advertisement could bring current Obama supporters to re-think (or begin to think about) their choice, but I doubt that it will have the impact that it should. It will be dismissed by the media as an “attack ad” — i.e., any political ad that raises questions about a Democratic candidate’s record or stated positions — and the Obama supporters that I know have no inclination to address their candidate’s record (or those of the Republicans) rationally.
Roseberry the Obama camp is thinking. This will not change their mind. The left is the perfect tool for their saving the planet fad of the decade. Population control is part of that fad. Reconsidering abortion, is not in the cards for people who feel they have a right to decide who gets to share their green space. They can’t come right out and say it. They have to find a way to make human culls politically correct, socially acceptable. They have almost succeeded in convincing young females that by aborting their offspring, it is empowering them.
Yawn.
Only will animate the base of people who wouldnt have voted Obama anyway. Battle Lines on abortion are pretty clearly drawn, this wont change anything….doesnt mean you dont produce it and show it. But, practically speaking, it isnt the number one issue, wont be the number one issue for the middle voters who decide elections. It wont even be i the top 5 issues for that group.
I will let you in on a little secret, anytime most people in the middle hear a pro abortion or pro life ad, they tune out.
But by all means promote whatever position you want, if Obama loses it wont be because of this ad.
Joe Biden: “Life begins at conception.”
Barack Obama: “Life begins when we decide not to kill you.”
Stephen…Quite frankly I believe you are wrong in your assumption.
A generation slept thru this issue claiming to be ‘open minded and non-judgemental’. I think a few butts are blistered from fence sitting for so long.
This issue is really a sleeping giant waking up.
Palin has the left so upset…a teen pregnancy and a Down’s syndrom baby, and yet she abounds in confidence in public life, and a strong loving family. Those are the areas that pro-abortionists claim will be ‘ruined’ without the availability of abortion. What were the O’s words…he wouldn’t want his daughter’s punished with a baby?
You can stay in your blissful slumber Stephen.Voters are waking up.
“Battle Lines on abortion are pretty clearly drawn, this wont change anything….”

This is primarily about Barack Obama’s support for infanticide, and only secondarily about abortion. This issue has been simmering for a long time — there was a scathing guest column about it in The Jerusalem Post months ago. Now it’s moving to the front burner as the election approaches, in part as a means of demonstrating how deeply imbued B. Hussein Obama is with the Mohammedan ethos that children are expendable or are valuable only as potential suicide bombers.
I havebeen saying for sometime that this – BO’s extreme position a position that less than 5% of americans agree with will be what does him in in Nov. I am glad that the GOP held its fire until now, especially in light of whi they selected for Veep.
Expect a ‘vigorous’ response from the usual suspects in defense of BO. the biggest reason they will give is that the law was bundled with other stuff that BO would not let pass.
Blutech,
I am not judging the issue of what should be….I am saying it wont move votes. And there is nothign new in the issue. I know people are passionate about it (on all extremes), making a rational discussion next to impossible.
I am saying it wont move votes. You may not like it, I may not like it, but the structure of the debate is like WW1 and the tank isnt invented yet.
Only IF there is a GOP win, and IF there is a SC retirement from the left side of the court and IF the appointment of pro life judge survives Senate confirmation will there be any movement in the debate. Until then it is a stale and arid debate that will go nowehere.
Palin is a powerful symbol of personal choice to those who believe in choosing to keep their handicapped children, or having young mothers choose to raise their babies, good for her and them. But it doesnt change minds and hearts and votes.
So my point about Cjunk’s breathless pre-amble still stands. It wont be the ad that stopped Obama, assuming he loses. It might be ad that helps further animate the SoCon right to support McCain, but Bush had that twice and barely squeaked in. McCain needs those votes and more but it isnt clear that will be enough….too close to call with many miles to go.
Its a yawner of an issue because there is nothing new in the debate, and most people know it…it being a yawner doesnt make it unimportant..just it will have no effect.
Its will be the same loser issue up here when the Liberals drop the A Bomb on Harper. It wont have any effect this election, because Harper wont discuss it, the press will ignore it as a cynical election ploy (which it will be), because it has been used too many times before to no effect.
It’s a heart breaker, the sickest one I knew of was a geology prof who was adopted but quite willing to let other children be killed lest they turn out bad.
Presumably like him.
Now people who would have been adopted are instead executed.
“I think that whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity is above my pay grade,”
Then you cannot be the man who occupies the office where the “buck stops”.
It’s humourous to think that anyone believes the Right is sincere in wanting to lessen the number of abortions which occur.
They tantalize their followers with the idea that Roe v. Wade will be repealed, when they know it won’t because the majority of americans simply do not want that. It’s merely a political issue for the Right, nothing more.
If one were sincere about lessening the number of abortions, one would vote Left. Society has an obligation to support young families and young mothers in doing the hardest job in the world. If young mothers actually had that support, you would see abortions numbers go down. The Left provides that support – the Right says “sink or swim”.
Once innocent young new life is out of the womb, the Right couldn’t care less. After all, if they provided young mothers with the kind of support that would encourage them not to have abortions in the first place, well, they might not have the money necessary to give tax breaks to oil companies, etc!
Also, it’s humourous to hear a party proclaim itself pro-life when it was gung-ho to go to war based on the flimisest of evidence, knowingly agreeing to the killing of many babies in Iraq, in and out of the womb.
real:
Please cite a juristiction where such “support ” has reduced abortion rates.
