Man, the rest of the parties should just give up now. I mean, the Green party has obviously stumbled upon the most dominant political strategy of all time! Imagine, the untapped potential of failed Marijuana Party candidates, coupled with the juggernaut that is the Truther movement!

Check out Elizabeth May’s claim to fame concerning the spruce budworm on Cape Breton Island.
This pest (the spruce worm) was rampant in the beautiful highlands of Cape Breton Island, and parts of New Brunswick. New Brunswick sprayed the worm and their forests survived and are productive and beautiful.
Do to the extreme efforts of May, with the acquiescence of the media and silly left-wingers on Cape Breton, the gov’t refused to spray. Great tracts of land in the highlands now are basically dead. The lumber and jobs gone. The death of so many trees also lead to the demise of large numbers of critters dependent on the trees.
May cares not about our environment or employment.
She only cares about controlling behaviour, like all leftists.
The reason May stayed on Cape Breton was, as the head of the Sierra Club, she wanted as big a piece of the tar ponds cleanup budget as possible. ($400,000,000.00) Why else would the Sierra Club have a permanent office in a small place like Sydney N.S.?

I can hardly wait to see this incoherent social paranoia hit the election circuit. It’s the reason Greens are largely ignored by middle Canada.
Face it, the environmental movement has created more jobs in the last 10 years than almost any other. The problem is they’re not productive in any way. They’re a parasitic type of industry, with no goals, other than slowing down all other industry.
Hate to preach on the subject, but this is the way of all activist lobbyist groups. They are there for the moola from silly donors. One chap who started an activist group actually admitted that at a town hall meeting I attended some years ago. A political party just seems to be a natural way to catch even more of the public teat.

An excellent point, Sgt Lejaune, and one often made by the Fraser Inst in their reports on drug policy. But whenever I get mailers from right-wing MPs howling about drugs and crime, the focus is always on some 17 year old kid who’s smoking a joint instead of getting the math homework done. There’s never a word about the prospering grow-op proprietor, who’s driving an $80,000 pickup with TV and leather seats, and living in a $1 million house. I guess that’s because these people contribute appropriately?
Why is anyone surprised by this?
The Green Party should rightly be called the Watermelon Party (green on the out side red on the inside) And we all know how much the socialist fascists love the Jews.
Hoping that they run on this political platform. I am quite sure they will win this up coming election. HaHaHaHa.

Is this guy really that much farther out than Blair Wilson? AFAIK, Blair is now the only sitting MP in the Green Party and will contest West Vancouver in the next election under that banner. Since Blair is all about the benjamins — in fact, he’s desperate for funds — you have to wonder just what kind of inducement brought him into the fold. That is, other than the inducement of possibly getting re-elected and continuing his MP salary and pumping up his MP pension, which are both very important to a guy whose ability to borrow and future job prospects are very limited. Even by Green Party standards, recruiting Wilson is an eco-crime. Blair is one of nature’s Liberals.
Remember when the Green Party was trying to sell themselves as the Smart well educated movement of serious and conscientious young professionals and reasonable opponents of unrestrained abuse of our resources? The new choice for more ethical and rational politics?
