After a day standing in the paint booth (and more ahead) my eyes are again taking a beating – the frequent consequence of staring at fuzzy lines for hours on end. Blogging may be light around here while they recuperate.

Rest those peepers Kate.
What the hell were you painting anyway? Hope you have a fresh air mask. When I was a kid, there was this guy who ran the elevator at the Walter Scott building in Moose Jaw. Some of you may recall the old elevators with a hand lever, and the guy would say, “What floor sir??”
They called him “Old Tony.” He was as white as the driven snow. Truth was, he wasn’t that old. He was a bodyshop painter who had always refused to wear a mask. All he could do was operate an elevator. Let’s be careful out there Kate!!
First timer with the stuff: Even though I was outdoors and brushing, not spraying – two part polyurethane, isocyanate and reducer was no fun.
Terrific paint though !! And hats off to those who can produce a flawless paint job – time after time. Without orange peel or runs, while leaving a glossy, smooth finish. It ain’t easy being a good commercial painter.
take a week off and relax your weary self. go fishin, take a bike ride somewhere
and lay on a beach. collect your thoughts and vegitate
Try those liquid tears, but use the ‘gooey’ nighttime ones. You think they won’t make any difference, but they do.
So you rest you eyes by finishing your painting, then starting posting again less than six hours later. What a slacker. Thanks for doing most of the work for us.
Any thoughts on the up and coming ‘double digit millions’ milestone ? A celebration !? A sda homepage emailer promo blitz by sda commenters ??

them runs and orange peel used be part of the business (not painting) that body shops sent to me, and were happy to pay large for the fix
T’was cheaper then a repaint:-)))))
Ron, that figure (currently at 9,621,327) is actually Canadians converted to conservative thinking, not page views.
