I am sure Kate didn’t create this blog to gather sheep but to try to put topics up for discussion rather than have you just nod and agree. This blogsite has lost its purpose–sad but true.

It’s okay to hurl racist remarks at whites, but if a White person were to respond in kind the leftards would have him jailed for a life time. Especially the silence of the audience trying to comprehend what obtuse rationale she has for projecting her idea of racial harmony onto cafeteria seating patterns.
    I would never throw my grandmother and her generation’s views under the bus as Barack did, and I lost respect for him.
    His wife’s opinions do not reflect the public’s reasons for embracing his campaign – successful Americans like(d) Obama because he is proof race does NOT impede progress.

    I agree with Opus Maximus – it’s a package deal, and many voters overlooked Dubya’s weaknesses because Laura was just so nice. Tipper Gore and Teresa Heinz weren’t big advantages for their husband’s campaigns, and both of them could have won.
    Bubba could have played a positive role, but instead of lightly accentuating the positives of having an experienced foreign policy hand around who had learned his lessons about genocide and terrorist prevention, and not counting on the UN to lead anything, he attacked Obama and made Barack’s positive message stand out.

  34. A year or so ago I was in WA state outside of a convenience store after buying some bottled water. A huge, brand new (white?) SUV pulled up. Black couple. He was friendly as all get out, beamed a big honest smile and chatted me up briefly (I was on a ride, reviewing a map) and then entered the store. His wife, however, draped in the most exquisite designer threads and bedecked with pricey jewelry, remained in the vehicle and literally glowered at me. I’ll never lose this image and Michelle Obama keeps it fresh.
    BLT (Black Liberartion Theology) is just as ugly as Islam, making those earlier debates about B. Hussein’s faith mute. One of its tenets is a rejection of “middle-classness”.
    He CANNOT win the presidency of the United States. We need not be worried.
