Angus Reid says that Canadians want the Green Party to win a seat in Parliament:
Many adults in Canada would like the Green party to have representation in the House of Commons, according to a poll by Angus Reid Strategies. 58 per cent of respondents think it is important for the country to have a Green party member of Parliament. — AR
This may be the case, but I’m pretty sure it’s only for the entertainment value. Elizabeth May is such a complete whackjob that she probably has plenty of older Canadians feeling nostalgic for the Rhino Party.

Nice try, but sda is no place for false advertizing. Try the MSM 🙂
No one knows my name, the name of my company, or how to contact me. Nor where I live.

Your turn.
Ron, if its the false part, here is a program from Minnesota chosen randomly from google.
Minnesota Power offers incentives for customers who install geothermal heat pump systems in their homes on or before Dec. 31, 2006. The heat pump must have a minimum Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 3.3 for closed loop and 3.6 for open loop systems. This means that every unit of energy yields more than three units of heat. Also, Minnesota Power requires that the heat pump be installed by a certified GHP contractor.
I think a more telling question would be, do you want a Green Party member to represent you, your riding. nimby
“This is stupid. If Canadians want Green Party representation, then there’s a simple solution. VOTE FOR THEM. They are on the ballot in 307 ridings.”
Indeed.
I think that said everything that needed to be said on this.
“Make way, Ms May, you sour old cow, for Mr. Bennett.”

The other day Elizabeth May was threatening to quit over her long hours and skimpy pay. It’s as if she was too stupid to know what she was getting into when she ran for the leadership.
(Don’t get me started on her deal with the devil pact with Dion and the Liberals, I almost blew chunks when that became known.)
Now comes along Mr. Bennett out west, a man of his own mind, a man of tomorrow, a man who can seize the day and skirt around petty partisanship.
So I say to Ms May that you can head back to where you came if you don’t find leadership to your liking and all you can do is complain about sundry nonsense of the day.
Clearly you have failed miserably to capitalize on the goodwill lent to you by our membership when you won.
The Greens need a breath of fresh air, not a load of hot air.
A phoenix is rising in British Columbia and Canada will be the better for it.
Make way, Ms May, you sour old cow, for Mr. Bennett.

“Angus Reid says that Canadians want the Green Party to win a seat in Parliament”
If you’ll forgive my bluntness most Canadians think Elvis is still alive.
You may as well say Canadians are empty headed shmoos who will buy any MSM pimped myth.
We don’t legislate on the fuzzy feelings of partisan pollsters…who’s polling science is about as accurate as climate science.
Mr. Bennett? Is he the one who looks like he just crapped himself? Geeze, Bennett and Lizzy would be a real recipe for making Green soup.
Best plan of the Rhino party was to repeal the law of gravity.
When will May come out and tell us how the Green Party of Canada is linked to all the other green partys in the world, with their headquarters in Europe. The previous green leader of canada used to brag how he was on the board or held some title in the main party. Policy is supposed to be set in europe and spread around the world. Sorry, I don’t want a EU party or member telling me how to live. And with 1 green member in the House of Commons, what impact would that person have on anything. How many times did you hear that independant from Que ask a question, or even mentioned. No party status, no money for staff etc. What could 1 green MP do. Of course, if it was May, it would be one way to shut her up. How many votes did the green party get last election. If all those votes had been cast in Bill Grahams riding, would they have won.
tg, don’t you just love people who think it’s possible to go back in time.
Are all the Greenies bona fide scientists or just graduates of the Al Gore school of hot air crapola?
There has been a gradual melting since the Ice Age, how long ago is that Ms May?
We have records of high and low temperatures as long as we’ve been recording them, going back over a hundred years to a time when pollution wasn’t heard of.
Now the Eco-freaks want us to go back to the horse and buggy, stomp horse crap in the streets, burn WHAT? to keep warm, shut down industry and stagnate. All this while we pay China to pollute.
“wow. geothermal 300% efficiency. obviously due to the fact ye olde water molecule has astounding heat capacity.
anybody know whay that is? as opposed to the heat capacity of equivalent mass of the hydrogen and oxygen gases?”
The earth absorbs 51% of the suns energy. The electricity is used to transfer blocks of this energy into the home. One unit of energy is used to transfer 3 blocks of the sun’s energy stored in the earth into the home for heating, slightly less for cooling.
