The first and longest is an interview with former Virginia Tech student and gun collector, Wayne Chiang by Paula Todd of CTV. Note the still photos shown of him. They’ll be back.

Alright, I must be falling off my rocker, but this is absolutely unbelievable. To be misidentified once as a homicidal shooter was hell. To be labeled again within three days? That is UNACCEPTABLE. CTV will have you to believe that Asians with guns ALL LOOK SAME. You can clearly see my picture being identified as the shooter TWICE @ 1:13 and 1:34. No apology or notice of clarification has been issued by this network.
As evidenced by my previous interview, I think we know the stance on firearms by this network. So which is it? Is this them filling the air with more “terrifying images”? Or do they think that Asians ALL LOOK SAME? Either way, I don’t think I’ll like the answer.

Let me also add my support Wayne. I usually try to download any YouTube videos that might be taken off, but it never occurred to me that CTV would act this fast. Sue the bastards.
I won’t say how many guns I’ve got (this is Canada with no second amendment) but I like to collect them too and don’t like anyone telling me that I have too many. There is no such thing as having too many guns.
For downloading YouTube videoa, I prefer open source tools. One that works is called Fast video download” at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3590
I’ve tried it in Flock where it works fine but it is supposedly just for Firefox. Other programs that are free are TubeMe.exe (can’t remember where I got that one, but Google it) and VideoDownloader which is a Flock specific extension, but must have been a trial program as it’s stopped working. Videos are downloaded in flv format which means you have to find a free flv player or flv to avi converter.
I’ll try to remember to store any interesting videos that get posted to SDA, but need more hard drive space as even with >1 Tb on my home machine I’m still always short of space.

Unfortunately, a conservative network such as Fox Canada would never get off the ground here because it would never get CRTC approval. The CRTC is rife with left wing elites, mostly appointed by Libs. The nanny state would never let the average Canadian actually see an opposing viewpoint.

VLC media player has no problem playing it. VLC is available for downloads at multiple sites and best of all it is free and a non M$ product.

We select our interviewed guests.
We encourage “our types” to bash the other side.
We allow our favourites to prepare for an interview by showing them the script.
We ambush those not having our “morals”.
The guests on our side are refered to as “leading”, “professors”, “experts”,…
The other side gets “dangerous”, “freakish”,..
We use back drops to help our motives.
We ask loaded questions.
After we “un-bias-ly” ‘report’, and the smoke clears, then, and only then, are you ‘allowed to decide’. Sounds fair. Sounds like the media. Sounds like Pravda in it’s hay-day.
I have no guns. I am not the least bit interested in guns. Couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn if I tried.
All my life I have felt very safe being among those of high morals and of law biding character even when they are in posession of high power fire arms. Have even felt protected .
But a fanatic with a BB gun makes me shiver.
Problem is the govmit will not discriminate. Too PC to do so. Charter protection.
