Twenty-seven years ago, upon hearing horrifying tales of genocide in Cambodia, Gregory H. Stanton made it his mission in life to bring the infamous Pol Pot and other Khmer Rouge leaders to justice.
Now, the University of Mary Washington professor has seen his years of effort rewarded with the recent establishment of a tribunal that is expected to put about 10 former leaders of the Communist regime on trial early next year.

One topic; Greeners mistakenly got DDT banned decades ago. Millions then died of malaria, that DDT could have effectively helped control. Patrick was a major player in having the ban droped. Recently some countries are again using DDT to fight malaria.

I said after 911, that unless we get a hold on this group. To condemn this war against the west. It will end up in camps or mass deportation.

Note that Tarek Fatah has been featured previously at LGF; and unfortunately, he’s a “moderate” only in comparison to the ones who would slaughter him. Political news out of AB
The Alliance Party and The Alberta Party each held AGM meetings on Sat/24th.
The outcome is that there will be no amalgamation between these two parties as may have been speculated earlier in some quarters. Both parties will no doubt have candidates running in the next prov. election.
There may well be some shunting about of memberships among these two parties and hopefully the AB Conservative party as well before the next provincial election (probably late 2008).
To those who are interested in a very strong Alberta-First party, I would encourage you to google on Alberta Party and check it out. If interested – do consider a $10 membership and/or a donation to help the party grow and provide input to make it happen.

When Stephane Dion came out of nowhere to win the Liberal leadership I had a huge laugh. Ray and Ignatieff split the vote and suddenly, “there he were, streakin’ through the polebeans” — front and centre — like a deer in the headlights.
He had absolutely no idea that he would win and had not thought much about it.

Being caught “nekked” by the entire country cannot be a welcome experience but he put his best face on things and motored on. I supported him at the time because I knew little about him other than that he was responsible for the adoption of the Clarity Act. I also knew that it was originally Harpers idea but it didn’t matter — the idea was adopted and I applauded.
At the time he was elected as leader I felt that being the smart guy he was he would start to work with Harper in an effort to better this country.

I also had no clue that our new Liberal leader was such a stubborn, unyealding “twit” and would attempt to advance the cause of those who would do this country harm no matter that his very own MP’s were telling him that he was wrong. ..-
