  1. Nothing different than what the whole of the leftern press has been doing for years, cheating the public through omission and deception.

  2. Didn’t promoting enemy propaganda fall under treason at one point?
What has happened to us a people (as in the western world) that we allow this crap?

  3. The poor buggers, they were practically begging someone to protest so they could get some footage to justify all their tut-tutting over the hanging events.

  4. Remember that dispite how evil they were such as HITLER and STALIN have their admiers such as ED ASNER is abig time stalin boot kisser

  5. Looks like the saddam supporters are taking lessons from the House of Commons “fill the empty seat” gang.

  6. What is interesting is that the PM of Iraq is now asking for an investigation regarding the leaked video of Saddam’s death. A waste of time and money but a politically savvy move which could appease any Saddam supporters, whether they are few or many.

  7. The pattern with the MSM has been for years now that in any anti-US rally, riot or uprising you can pretty much cut the numbers down by 75%. Cindy Sheehan’s rallies, “hundreds” means 40 to 50 there; anti-war protests in DC, “thousands” means 1000 tops, you get my drift. The stupidity of it all is that even with an IQ below room temperature you can match the photos with the print story and it never adds up. Before the internet and everyone had cellphone cameras, the MSM could make up anything. They probably employed a make-up-the-number consultant.
Maybe with enough pressure we can drive the news networks to a total cartoon format where they think they will be safe.

  8. …what I’d like to know is how these wing nuts always manage to get poster sized photo’s of these despot leaders for their protest marches.
Must be a lot of empty walls at home…

  9. CTV just headlined “Iraqis take to the streets to protest Saddam’s execution”, then showed a couple of in-your-face types, a few more milling around, and some more, what appeard to be ‘shoppers’, in the back ground.
What struct me though, is how, in the past, the headlines and talking head could overwhelm a viewer with the spin. Now we all can sit back and laugh cause we know the real story thanks to hundreds of blogs and the often on-the-scene-witness, commenter.

  10. “in the dozens”
Brilliant, but for the benefit of our European “friends”, who can’t count but by tens, may I say “in the tens”.

  11. and according to my sources they’re all named saddam.
    LOL !!!
sigh. when I lived in st catharines one of the first grape festival parades I attended had an organizer estimated turnout of 400,000.
until some wag calculated the parade spectators had to be 10 deep on both sidewalks for some multiple factor of the entire length of st pauls street downtown.
    ixnay !!!
    ‘do the math’ etc
ommag: ap is the only game in town. its some sort of withdrawl symptom. give it time.

Are you mocking the metrification of protestation?
You idiot. 1 protestor is a milli-protestor…Ten of those are a centiprotestorate…..Ten of those equal a mob. Ten mobs equal a news story! One news story equals a “mega mob”. Do the math you dumbass.
    Syncro
p.s. Thankx Pieere for the proper ciphering system!!!

  13. Heard in newsrooms everywhere/
“So in the end we offed Saddam, and not George Bush!?
Well where is the freakin nuance in that!
The MSM has got to make some “Magic” on this one. Let’s go to work boys”.
(CTV Bell Globe media monopoly, and 100% government-funded CBC, predicted more bloodsoaked mass slaughter, or, surely uncontrollable vengeful mobs if we didn’t listen.
    No?
Ok, for sure some highly motivated giant demonstrations, nes pas?
OK, final offer, how about a valium drugged sleepy Saddam daughter, a couple of dozen shoppers with an AK 47 armed sheep molester.
Reality sucks, when you’re an Utopian.
It’s an overwhelming groundswell of indifference.
Even Saddams flabby daughter looked like she just wanted to go back to bed.)
“Let’s make it happen, It’s magic time boys, now line up, and Haccchmed, for the love of Allah, finger on the trigger, we’re making history here”
