I was going to do a link roundup on the London bombings, but checking Instapundit this morning, there’s no way I can do better than Glenn’s collection.

If this continues it will result in huge and terrible consequnces for all Muslims. These terrorists are radical Muslims. If all Muslims do not stand up and take a visible stand against international terrorism, and help to fight it, they will also become the enemy. Remember the Chinese internment camps during WWII? I do not agree with that approach but if Muslims will not stand up and take sides then what other choice does the free “western” world have.
I’m asking. Please tell me.
I predict that this form of international terrorism will end when the US drops a few big bombs on the centers of support – Iran, North Korea, Syria – and several smaller centers in South America and around the world. Also the destruction of all religious leaders everywhere who preach this terrorism and send their young men and women out to commit these atrocities.
They can end it. But it will take the killing of a few million people. Remember, there was a reason for bombing Dresdan into the ground, and dropping two big bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Again, where is Canada in this war? As far as I’m concerned some of the enemy are in Ottawa as well.
I listened to CJAD this morning and heard Tommy Schnurmacher say that while there is outrage today, tomorrow we will hear the ‘liberal left’ saying that the Brits had in coming. He was wrong, they spoke out already to blame the victim.
John is right. I predict the Charter of Rights will either strangle Canadians into a knot of fear or the notwithstanding clause will be used to round up and camp large segments of society. It’s coming.
I want to hear widespread outrage by British and world Muslims, if I hear qualified anger or lip service, I will assume that they are my enemy and plan accordingly.

By my reckoning, these attacks took place about the time I was leaving Embankment Underground station for my office this morning.
So I’m going to be spending the night in a hotel downtown. Not much to grumble about compared to what some poor folks are facing right now.

Kate. During the early bombing of London Londoners went about their daily business as well. My aunt lived in London at the time and returned with my uncle as a war bride. Two of the loveliest people I know.
Perhaps it’s time for a disconnect between media and the average citizen. It’s one thing for individuals to get information direct, as in “being there” or over the Internet from people who “are there”. It’s another to read all the propaganda and disgusting corruptness of today’s MSM around the free world.
I no longer pay any attention to the MSM anyway.

The heroic mujahidin have carried out a blessed raid in London. Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern, and western quarters.
Mr. Crittenden, I agree with the points you made. One point, though: the internment camps in Canada during WWII were for Japanese, not Chinese, since we were at war with the former, not the latter.
What I have to say about the evil attack on innocents in London at this time is this:

I totally agree with John. During WW11 the interment camps in Canada held Japanese, Italians, and Germans. Not that any of them were our enemies – being citizens of Canada – but during war we did not know for sure who was the enemy. The same thing to-day. We do not know who is an extremist. We welcome people to our shore, provide them with a roof. food, clothing and medical. That is to-days rules, back then they came and fended for themselves. All it will take is an attack on Toronto or Vancouver or Montreal and then watch how nice we Canadian people are. It’s time to clean out this country of anyone who even sniffs of terrorist ties. Ship them back to their native land. Apparently we have at least 50 different groups of these people. Why wait till we lament the death of our own. It takes a long time for anyone with a drop of English blood to rile, but, once this happens we are holy terrors. And just in case you feel I am just blowing steam, I lived through the war in this country. Had some German friends who were haunted by the activities of Hitler and suffered the consequences here in Canada. Will we do it again – yes if it is warranted.

Stephen McAllister. Of course you’re right. I just got off the phone from a chinese friend and I guess I had chinese on the mind.
I don’t think anyone should get too up tight about any of this. This war started many years ago, long before 9-11. It continues today because it wasn’t nipped in the bud. Now’s the time to nip it in the bud. This grand experiment with multiculruralism is a disaster. Witness the problems in many countries in Europe today. Canada will not be far behind.
And yes, jypsy ontario. I too lived during WWII. I was very young. But I remember losing three uncles. I remember a lot of things. And yes again, Canadians actually saved Great Britain in the early stages. It’s quite a story. We can indeed take care of ourselves. It just takes a lot for us “laid back” people to get riled enough to take care of business. I think a lot of us are riled today.
I’m proud of the role Canadians played in the Second World War. But not so proud as to believe we “actually” saved the UK. It’s more thsn likely that they could have done it all without us. The point is, though, that we’ll never know because they didn’t have to.

Well, I recently watched something on the History Channel about exactly this matter that convinced me otherwise. Why? Remember, Germany had prepared well beforehand for its insanely evil campaign for world domination, what with building all those planes, tanks, u-boats and bombs and training countless soldiers. Britain was at first ruled by the appeasenik Chamberlain who Hitler “promised” not to attack. Churchill knew better, which is why he became PM after England was attacked. But, because Chamberlain did absolutely nothing, believing Hitler’s promise, England was not prepared to win, thus Canada, along with America, came to the aid of Britain.
And lefties wonder why Tony Blair stands shoulder to shoulder with President Bush… Britain is there for America as America was there for Britain, as I’m sure Britain will be there for Canada if we’re attacked. Because we were there for them.
By the way, just saw via Neale that we’re the only nation remaining that hasn’t been attacked by al-Qaeda that is on Bin Laden’s list of nations to attack. Now we’ll see how serious the Libbies are about protecting the homeland. Just watch… they’ll do nothing. Throw a billion here, a billion there, but close down border crossings, refuse to arm guards, starve the RCMP of required funding, continue to dismantle our national defence capability… and all the while tell us they’re making national security a top priority… like hell… top priority is to dismantle the institution of marriage?
The dead and wounded as a result of this latest Islam-Headchopper attack have not died in vain. They will act as a wake up call to many of the Naythsayers, not to mention the aniti war crowd that were only anti war because their “talking points” framed their decisions, will now have to quetion those talking points. Clinton could have stopped this years before 9/11 he was given Osama on a silver platter but refused to take him pre 9/11, and yet they knew he was already guilty of dasardly deeds, Thats why the Saudi’s kicked him out.
I would like to see a medal created for all of the victims of the London bombing, they will be the wake up call that has been sorely needed ever since 9/11 and the public became complacent, it has been said by many that it probably will take another 9/11 to wake up the pacifists and none believers, this London bombing should do the job, I think there should be medals given out, these that died and are wounded will save the lives of countless thousands in the months to come. We will see whether the screemer McLennan does something or not, but Sask. better get smart and pay for more RCMP guarding the border if they insist on two in a shack, shame on Sask. Now there is none in no shacks, again shame on Sask. it’s my ass too Sask.
