To all of you lonely, forgotten hockey fans, peering out your little windows into the dark foggy night of uncertainty that has become the NHL….
Be afraid.

Oh geeez. Shoudn’t Maurice Strong be sittin out any extracurricular activities until he is cleared of current allegations. And anyway, wouldn’t the perception of neutrality be of the utmost importance here? The guy is a raging socialist. Will he not default to the union position? This is bad. Personally, I’d like to see Bobby Orr in the driver’s seat.
Like Mo Strong knows a thing about containing costs….
I have to say, I love the Oil, but no hockey has not negatively affected my life. No more long mood(win) swings. No more getting pissed at the refs.
Besides, Canadain politics has never been so much dam fun.
Did ya see em’ swirm today? Better then a knee injury.
Memo to Gary Bettman and Bob Goodenow:
Please settle this before its too late!
You said it Dustin. Our politics never have been so much fun.
Next, a letter to Gov.Gen. Clarksen. Then an election. A series of firm Liberal Party corrections, and then, Ahhhhh Back to Hockey night in Canada.
The letter to Clarksen?
Please dissolve this paralyzed house mired in tapes quibbling and get the election under way.
Do you think it’s too soon for the flood of letters to our Govenor General like this one at BendGovernment.blogspot.com to begin? 73s TonyGuitar
Guiliano to save hockey
Some people seem to think that Maurice Strong mightn’t be the best person to partner up with, I can’t imagine why
Uncle Mo and Powercor are in on NHL action now eh?….Can we expect the usual Desmarais/Strong fee for “saving” the NHL?….a 10 point skim from the franchise owners for “laundering” their profits into the right (Powercor/Strong) insider investments to make the franchise pay and player’s salaries streach further.
No worries about taxes as the deal has PMO pre approval. 😉
Love it! My sides are aching.
I hope this blog is not a mini-poll of hockey interest. The franchise would go broke for sure.
We had a rink in the back yard in Ville St. Pierre / Montreal West. Watching TV hockey was great during the Rocket, Guy Lafleur years.
The best hockey was when we skipped school and went to the Montreal Forum and took in the juniors. Those guys were dynomite.
Hockey today is…. different.

Real hockey means being able to lean over the boards.
