1. Seems to be more then a confusing issue. If were going to ban smoking everywhere because the smoke is Harmful, Deadly, Disgusting, Dangerous, how can we legalize this?
   Quick, call the smoke police,or whatever there called, the second hand smoke from this will kill millions damit….

2. Well it’s kind of like alchohol, or chewing tobacco. They make stricter laws and try to stomp out one substance and people choose another way to harm themselves. It’s all a psychological thing. through childhood and adolescence our concepts of right and wrong are influenced by our surroundings. Most people approx. 1 – 40 are strongly opposed to tobacco smoking as it was very heavily pushed as a bad thing by society. But with alchohol, there are less, almost no societal norms against it. You hear many people say “I’ve got to quit smoking” but you hardly ever hear of “I’ve got to quit drinking” except from the dangerously addicted. I know many teenagers that do snuff thinking it is less harmful than tobacco, but in actuality, it isn’t, it’s just that society pushes certain things at certain times. Wasn’t it in the 20’s that smoking was the big social thing and alchohol was banned?

3. Personally I’m torn between “legalize & tax it” and “what a stupid idea” (well, okay, not so torn I must admit to leaning WAY towards the latter). However, studies have shown that smoking pot helps with the nausea etc. of chemo so… medicinally I don’t see an issue. Cocaine, after all, is used medicinally we just aren’t usually TOLD that. (Pop quiz: what’s the medical terminology for cocaine?)
   All that being said, the health food industry is the least regulated health industry going, so that scares me. I wouldn’t be surprised if this industry has been “chosen” as the distributor due to some arcane federal law.

4. There may be some medically legitimate uses of marijuana. The problem is we’ll never know – the people pushing for it are either agenda driven or money driven: when it comes to money doctors, whether you’re talking about abortion or marijuana are consistent: “yes, her life is in danger and needs an abortion – that will be $1200 please” or “yes, he needs this marijuana for medical purposes – that will be $1200 please”.

5. What a great idea. Saves me a trip to the Hell’s Angels club house when I need to replenish my stash. 😉

6. if we were serious about getting rid of pot . . . . . we’d make it a Crown Corporation, let the Post Office run it . . . they’d be outta business in 2 years

7. Keep believing the rubbish you are fed about the legalization of pot. And when a French OPP squad breaks into your house, literally destroys the place, finds a roach, charges you with that, and then you go to court three times, ( french judge and crown prosecutor), and you are convicted and fined and are given a criminal record, and several weeks after that you receive a copy of the charges and you discover that you were actually convicted of possession of three grams, ( the minimum charge)- and yet charged with possession of a fraction of a gram, perhaps then, you will also long for a french bureaucracy that fits in your car ashtray!

8. The day they can find a way to do a road side THC test is the day I say legalise it. Regulate it and HARSHLY punish those who abuse their freedoms by harming others while on it, same as liquor, adrenalin, or anything else.
