Social Disease

Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley is demanding Facebook explain its preemptive censorship of a bombshell report from the New York Post contradicting Joe Biden’s repeated assertions that the former vice president never discussed his son’s potentially criminal overseas business conduct.

  1. Look for the social media giants to continue to control their pro-Democrat narrative until the election, and beyond. The fix is in.

  2. This is why I plan to leave America for some other country going to hell, because at least I won’t care as much about that country so it won’t hurt so much to watch.

They actually impeached Trump to keep stuff like this from coming out. “The best defense is a good offense” as we Americans spell it.

    1. alecingy@3:04….my question is this….IF THE MAIL-IN BALLOTS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE OPENED AND TABULATED UNTIL ELECTION DAY, exactly HOW would they know he is 100K votes ahead?

  3. Huh…it’s almost like they made an editorial decision…y’know, kinda like what publishers do.
These guys are jonesing for a breakup.

  4. Its a good thing for the Democrats that twitter allows foreign interference from Canadian Warren Kinsella, as he actively campaigns for Dementia Joe.

      1. More diversions. The NYT documented Trump’s corruption and you people pretend it never happened.

Why is the blatant corruption of a sitting president less important to the public than years old allegations against a drug addict son that does not provide any evidence that Joe Biden was complicit?

All such tactics do is expose Trump supporters and a bunch of unethical cranks that think that corruption is perfectly fine as long as Trump is the one benefiting.

        1. The New York slimes? Give me a freakin break. The same trash rag that pushing the fraud 1619 project.

          1. All you do is prove my point: a Trump supporter dismisses the NYT report without even reading it.
Doesn’t it bother you that Trump might be guilty of some pretty egregious corrupt practices?

Given that context, why should anyone other than a desperate Trump supporter care about emails supposedly written by Hunter Biden that showed up on a computer sent for recycling? The chain of custody alone does not make the story very credible.

What I find so incredible about Trump supporters is the pathetic hypocrisy and willful blindness. The complete inability to see the world outside of your tiny little information bubble is jaw dropping and frightening. You are no better than the craziest defund the police/BLM/critical race theory supporter.

        2. The Steele Dossier was a complete fabrication. This is all documented. Impeachment was a coverup for Biden. The New York Times published a fake hand-written “Black Ledger” that turned out was made by Ukrainians who had met with Biden in the White House in an attempt to discredit Trump.

Has anybody denied that it is authentic?

          1. SQUIRREL!!!!

Sorry, no matter how many times you try to change the topic, the story that matters to most people are the stories of Trump’s ongoing corruption and the willingness of the republican senate to turn a blind eye.

If there was a principled person here that is willing to acknowledge how corrupt Trump is then perhaps we can have a conversation about the abuse of process within the FBI 4+ years ago. No such conversation is possible as long as Trump’s crimes are ignored or dismissed.

          2. I see Timmy didn’t allow responses to his insipid nonsense. Oh, he doesn’t think it’s true. Aww.

Chain of custody? WTF are you talking about, it’s traced to Biden people?

We should give Timmy some credit, it’s hard to be willfully blind while looking in the mirror.

I see your jaw dropping. Are you frightened? What will the Facebook “third party fact checkers” do with this.

If the Senate verifies this, will you apologize to us all for your dimwittedness? No?

This from a fool forwarding every trash piece on Trump, who continues to make unsubstantiated allegations of Trump’s alleged daily abuse of power. In DeMarxistsplain, that means they don’t think he should be POTUS.

All together now – Awwwwww, poor baby 🙁 😉

          3. It’s not a “squirrel” to point out that last cycle the New York Times printed a false story about Trump at a key time during the campaign, a story fabricated in Ukraine, BTW. By people who had met with Biden in the White House.

          4. BTW, you are the one trying desperately to change the subject, just to point that out for you.

          5. DONT FEED THE IDIOT. We’ve gotten rid of 2 undesirables recently. Let’s not encourage this dimwit

        3. Tim G,
The Hearings on SCOTUS revealed that 20 million are on Obama Care, Senator Leahy said that 10 million of that 20 million are Californians on Obama Care… That means that California has moved all State Medicaid (free) folks to Obama Care… 50% of Obama care is in ONE state..

How are they paying for Obama care… The thieves & scammers from California cleaned out the SS disability FUND….Time for Nancy to walk the plank because she is stealing Medicare & SS funds…

The WH would have to sign off on Trust Fund Xfer’s… Secret service & Color Guard attendance records….

          JMHO

        4. “turning a blind eye to (Biden) corruption”–which has been going on for 40+ years. That’s 10x the amount of time Trump has been in office. Math+Democrats=iwastoldtherewouldbenomath
          Duh.

        5. Swamp creatures gathering around a powerful man. Nothing surprising here. That’s the half of Lord Acton’s “Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” It’s not just that the one at the centre of the power becomes corrupted, it’s that everyone who seeks to be around them are too.

The difference between Trump and the Democrats on this front is that we’re finding out that people who would otherwise have had nothing to do with Hunter Biden were willing to pay him millions to get access to his dad. People who have already spent millions and time with Trump are looking to continue that. Biden’s dad got the investigator who was risking the cash pipeline fired. There’s nothing in the linked story that implies that any of the Trump family has done anything illegal. Innuendo and TDS are still all you have. I would have thought that the utter failure of the Trump/Russia collusion – not a crime, by the way – and its potential reversal, including Hillary guest starring on “Orange is the New Black” for lying to and using the US investigative arms against a political opponent, would have taught you better than this.

You’re still a pigeon thinking you’re playing chess, in my book.

          Shoo, shoo pidgie.

    1. Invented?

DUDE, we know you may have a low IQ. But have you forgotten. Biden is on (video) talking what what he did to the leadership in Ukraine if they didn’t do what he asked.

      1. I also remember the story from the time when it happened.

Ukraine needed a lot of aid but there was a real concern it would siphoned off by corrupt actors. The Europeans and the US identified the prosecutor that was a big part of the problem. So they insisted that he be replaced. A reasonable move that was supported by many governments.

Fast forward, to 2020 and we have the prosecutor ousted because many believed he was corrupt is now claiming he was innocent. Not exactly the most credible source.

Bottom line: Biden claims he honestly believed the prosecutor to be corrupt and was worried about the aid money getting stolen. He also said he knew his actions would undermine Hunter but he did not care. Trump supporters do not want to believe this narrative but it has not been shown to be false or even implausible.

OTOH, there is much more compelling evidence that shows that Trump is completely corrupt and that his attacks on Biden are simply projection because he expects everyone else to be as corrupt as he is.

        1. “Ukraine needed a lot of aid but there was a real concern it would siphoned off by corrupt actors.”

You mean the *wrong* corrupt actors, ones not connected to the Democrat graft operation.

They show how Hunter Biden and his American business partners were part of a broad effort by Burisma to bring in well-connected Democrats during a period when the company was facing investigations backed not just by domestic Ukrainian forces but by officials in the Obama administration. Hunter Biden’s work for Burisma prompted concerns among State Department officials at the time that the connection could complicate Vice President Biden’s diplomacy in Ukraine, former officials said.. – New York Times

          1. Nothing in that statement implicates Joe Biden in any wrong doing. All it does is show that Hunter attempted to use his name to get a payoff which is distasteful but not relevant to the current election.

The trouble with Trump supporters is they are so used to Trump’s corruption and nepotism that they can’t imagine that someone else could refuse to compromise their position to help out their children.

It also ignores the absurdity of arguing that Elliot Ness may have been involved in some shady business so Americans should re-elect Al Capone.

        2. Maybe you could explain why Joe’s brother was qualified to procure a multi-billion dollar contract to build housing in Iraq after the war Joe voted for destroyed what was already there?

          Here is a goodie:

In 2001, Hunter Biden transitioned full-time to a federal lobbyist, though he stayed on the payroll of MBNA as a consultant until 2005, when President George W. Bush signed Biden’s Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act into law.

It was a savage piece of legislation, and Joe Biden even worked to block an amendment that would have offered bankruptcy protection to people with medical debt. The bill also blocked people from discharging private student loan debt under bankruptcy. Total student loan debt was under $400 billion in 2005; it surged in the wake of the law’s passage and is now over $1.5 trillion. NY Post (Now banned from Twitter for accurate reporting)

You know Trump’s tax returns were obtained illegally too.

          1. Here is the fake story that the New York Times printed about Trump’s campaign manager that was “leaked” from Ukraine by people who had met with Biden in the White House.

            https://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/15/us/politics/what-is-the-black-ledger.html

Once again, the ledger was fake, made up by DNC pals in Ukraine. The emails ring true, and it’s pretty much impossible to fake emails without leaving some trace with all of the metadata that’s involved. So I guess Biden’s hope is to win the election and shut down the inquiry.

  5. The Post Millennial is now reporting that Twitter has put a look on the NY Post’s (the author of the latest Hunter Biden bombshell) Twitter account. Thus Twitter is joining Facebook on censoring the story. The fix is in.

  6. It’s “potentially harmful” for sure. To Joe Biden and his fellow DeMarxist hegemonists of mendacity.

  7. Explain? Here’s your explanation.

Mark Zuckerberg doesn’t want to have his firm seized and its databases mined for information useful in justifying expropriating his fellow globalists and sending them to hell or prison for a very long time.

Neither does Zuck care to be deported to Israel to stand trial for giving aid and comfort to enemies of the Jewish people.

After January 2021, the gloves come off. And both the American and Jewish peoples will have a LOT of scores to settle with Silicon Valley.

  8. Both of these companies should be stripped of their operating license and move their headquarters to China. This would be a better location considering their M.O.

    1. Their headquarters moved to China a long time ago, along with the NBA, the Liberal Party, and half our oil companies.

  9. They weren’t even hacked. Hunter didn’t pay the repair shop that had worked on his computer, so the emails are his property along with the computer.

This just gets better and better.

And this is not what I would call a *forceful* denial. In fact it’s not a denial at all. I think it amounts to “SQUIRREL!”

    https://nypost.com/2020/10/14/biden-campaign-says-burisma-meeting-not-on-official-schedule/

I bet it wasn’t on the “official schedule” just like Hillary used to burn her meeting schedules with people who had donated millions to her “foundation” in State Department burn bags.

  10. Oh look, Biden lied and there is photographic evidence:

‘I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,’ Joe Biden said in 2019, though he had been photographed playing golf in the Hamptons with Hunter and another Burisma board member, Devon Archer, in 2014. But there is nothing to see.

    Circulez! Rien á voir!

  11. The repairman even has a receipt signed by Hunter that gives him ownership of the computer if Hunter doesn’t pay.

  12. “Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley is demanding The New York Times explain why it uses its printing presses that it owns to print only the stories it wants to”

    FIFY.

I remember when soi-disant conservatives thought the Fairness Doctrine was a bad thing.

    1. You have a point, the real story is the self immolation of Twitter as a source of information in a vain attempt to help Biden. The New York Times has also abandoned all pretensions to being a source of genuine news.
