Only WE Can Turn Back Time

Jamie Carroll;

From at least the first time I saw Back to the Future I thought having a time machine would be awesome. Imagine being able to go back in time and fix mistakes with no consequences.

But alas, science fiction, right? Well, apparently not if you’re the Kielburger Brothers and “WE”. For them, its all in a Friday afternoon news dump.

I’m talking, of course, about the ridiculous, retroactive Lobbyist Registration WE filed last week.

  1. To a globalist, the future is known and the hardest thing to predict is the past.

  2. Mr. Carroll is correct. It is hard to have sympathy for someone who made the system that bit him in the ass when he least expected it. The rot of that system is further exposed by allowing WE to retroactively register with no penalty. Doing 69’s with Dear Leader has its privileges.

  3. It reminds me of the class from hell in a service course I had to teach at Armpit College.

We had the mid-term exam, which I graded and returned. I spent a lecture going through the solution and one wiseacre came up with is paper and claimed I “missed” some of his answers. That twerp had filled them in while I was going through the exam, I knew it, and he knew that I knew.

Still, I couldn’t fight it because the system at AC was based on “believe all students”. I could have disputed that and I would have lost, even though I was right. In order to save myself needless headache, I gave the bastard the grades he clearly didn’t deserve.

I later brought up the matter with the kid’s department head, who simply shrugged it off. He always stood by the kiddies, no matter what.

And people wonder why I quit such a “good” job a few months later.

    1. Enter your initials in the blank spaces. That would slow that crap down but sadly there would be a few system gamers it wouldn’t do any good.

      1. I tried all sorts of things but the kiddies always found a way around them. I don’t know what was worse: those who tried to pull a fast one on me or the administrators who let them get away with it.

Now move ahead 20 years. Those punks are now adults (whether they can be considered mature is another story). They got their credentials by hook and by crook and, presumably, had successful lives as a result. Since doing things under the table served them well, why should they be upset at what happens with Prinz Dummkopf or the WE brothers?

        1. Photocopy their tests 2 pages per page, and return the copy to them was my favorite tactic for the trouble makers…

really hard to change when they don’t have the original

          1. At Armpit College, the kiddies could do no wrong. Any such efforts as you suggested would have been construed as harassment and abuse, not to mention a drain on departmental budgets. Equally as bad was the accusation that the cheating was all my fault because I made it so tough for the twerps that they had to resort to under-handed means to “pass”.

Did they seek my help? Of course not, and that was, apparently, my fault, too because I “intimidated” them either by my manner or my credentials.

One day, I looked at my investment portfolio and asked myself why I was still putting up with the idiocy. That, together with seeing the writing on the wall, persuaded me to punch out for good.

  4. Mr, Carroll obviously had no dirt on the PM of the day that would come out in discovery or otherwise during the ordeal of being charged and convicted. Not the case with the We Bros. The Spawn / Butts basic dictatorship has ejected Morneau which should help their bought-off and partisan media convince the ovine masses that all is well and to ensure it they will prorogue parliament to shut down any further bothersome scrutiny.

    1. Here’s another thought.

If holding on to your status as a minister requires proper genuflection to the leader and not competence, then everything they do is premised on whether it displeases the boss and not doing the right thing.
How did Freeland get that safe liberal seat to run in?
How did she get in cabinet?
What distinguishing quality elevated her to her current job?

      1. All Cabinet Ministers serve “at the pleasure of the Prime Minister.” There are no other qualifications, other than being a Canadian citizen over the age of eighteen. Cabinet Ministers DO NOT even have to be elected MPs. Pierre Pettigrew and Stephane Dion were university professors when they entered Chretien’s Cabinet. John Turner was a private citizen, and not an elected MP for his entire term as Prime Minister (all eleven weeks of it). Clearly there is always a lot of metaphorical and literal sucking up being done to whoever the Prime Minister is.

  5. Mr Carroll seems to dance around a conclusion about how the enforcement of the Lobbying Act is about as concrete as a bowl of jello.

    It’s called corruption.

They never see it because up until it bites them they enjoy the benefits of patronage.

  6. The Kleptoburger Brothers strike again. It’s not who you know, but who you blow.

  7. I wonder, does Mr Carrol still vote Liberal?
Cause it utterly amazes me,how many people get raped by the system, yet continue to give their support to the rapist.

    Government is corruption.
These insidious rules and regulations are designed exactly as we see them working.
Rules for everyone except those who make them rules up.
Every government enforcement/protection agency operates outside the law.
For under the regulations, the law is whatever they need it to be.
Only the guillotine can cure what ails these critters.

  8. Give me access to a time machine , canada would be a much better place as well as the world in general

    1. If I had a time machine, a certain individual in Montreal would have found his arse in Europe during WWII and not touring around on a motorcycle wearing a pickleharb.
Odds are he may not have survived the D day invasion, but he would have had a proper appreciation of our armed forces and no glowing regard for communism.

  9. In JT’s Canada laws are for thee NOT for WE. With enough legal paper the Libs can cover any litter box mess. It’s the rotten smell they can’t hide.

  10. Phew!!! That was a close one, I almost felt sorry for him.
But then I read his twitter.
Sorry Jimmy, I’m all out of GAFs. Lobbyist, self professed Liberal hack, Liberal Party National director…not exactly a pity party trifecta.

  11. As one would expect from a party insider and loyalist, It was all WE’s doing and all WE’s fault. No mention of the target and willing accomplice that is the Liberal Party of Canada.

  12. The author of this piece can go to hell.

He had no qualms about the people of Canada being screwed, he in fact designed the system to screw the people, along with too many others of course.

No sympathy here, that goof can go broke and stay broke.
