I did a lengthy post on this in the Candice Owen spot — maybe should have posted here. Response to Day’s comments is outrageous and a reflection of a sick society. Older people in Canada may not be totally familiar with the experience of black people, but it does not make them racist. Humiliating people who reject the notion of systemic racism just makes people angry.

I sat through numerous church services 40 years ago in which those two countries were vilified from the pulpit. That was because whites formed the respective governments.
After Rhodesia fell and South Africa was run by the ANC, they fell into chaos and disrepair. I’ve yet to hear any clergy preaching against what happened.

A precondition for solving any social problem is that the participants on every side of the debate are people of good will. Such people must be guided equally by reason and compassion. For this reason, identifying and excluding these malefactors from the national conversation is essential if we are to achieve lasting racial harmony.
The left have always thought their ideas were held back by the success of better ideas rather than acknowledge they are the political and economic equivalent of flat earthers. Since they can not build a better or more attractive system their only plan is to destroy. Once everything is in ruins they believe they can implement their goals. This is why they celebrate and promote violence and chaos.

I replied earlier in a comment that if you are a rich white elite in the USA you might think The Hunger Games is a manual for your preferred society. Pit race against race. Cause and cheer riots, vandalism and looting. Force the authorities to send in the police, National Guard and the military. Create more havoc by decrying the use of force. Seize the occasion to severely limit the citizen’s 2nd Amendment Right. By this point the people are so scared and demoralized they acquiesce leaving only a small percentage to engage in a very real civil war between citizens and government. Military crushes the resistance, a Police State is enforced and the Elites can live in their walled Capital Cities being sustained by the forced labour of the serfs.
We will call call it Panem and no we won’t provoke the serfs by having their children kill each other for our amusement. They can die in the coal mines, forests, granaries and construction sites.
Even without being that extreme, a race war is the final determination of Identity Politics, a divisive weapon of the Democrat Party. Divide and conquer for power.
