    It seems this knob traveled to quebekkie and brought the virus back. He (she?) didn’t bother to quarantine and spread it around.

    What should happen with this person? Let’s say someone dies. Should they be charged? If you pass AIDS around you get charged. The rcmp are investigating.

    My guess is whoever did this is now a pariah. Shunned (doxed perhaps) by fellow workers and maybe no longer employed?

      I read one of Nick’s books years ago, he was quite a character too, much like David the Menzoid.

        I didn’t know Nick Auf der Maur but I am familiar with Mellisa Auf der Maur. She is a rock bassist best known for her stint with Courtney Love’s band Hole. She is Nick’s daughter.

        I’m going to have to seek out some work by Nick. I like irreverent writing and he sounds like he engaged. Did he know Mordacai I wonder?

        Yes, Mellisa is his daughter. They have a memorable surname!

        I saw this video, included below, and it made me feel nostalgic for Montreal, if that could even be possible! It is possible and true, when one remembers the good times on Crescent Street, Montreal.

        Everyone knew Nick Auf der Maur. (See list of people in second link below). It is one that describes the book about Nick that I found here in Calgary at a secondhand book store.

        However, to my knowledge, Nick wrote a couple of books. One was about Montreal Mayor Jean Drapeau about the Olympics and one in collaboration with others, about Brian Mulroney. (See list of titles in Wikipedia link) There was talk of corruption. (ha!)

        In the following video, there too, is mention of how Nick asked around about where to find the bass guitar for said daughter. This is very moving, to me.

        I too, wish he wrote more. Most that he did was for the Montreal Gazette and all his articles were very interesting, usually including something political and most often, something amusing. He also chronicled the details about his cancer treatment, which everyone followed.

        One thing I learned from a friend who went out to the bars Nick was a regular at, was that Leonard Cohen, and Mordecai Richler were also regulars there too. So, yes they all knew each other. My friend told me that she once had a conversation with Leonard Cohen. They talked about his music. Lucky her. That the bars became most popular for the names of the patrons is an understatement. The name of the bars are “The Sir Winston Churchill Pub” and one directly across the street from this one, is known as “Ziggy’s.” The owner of the latter, Mr Ziggy is featured in the video as he was the one who took Nick for his Chemotherapeutic sessions. They became close friends.

    You can put a movie star, a politician, etc. into an action video, a sex tape, or a presser with a fake identity. These are called “deepfakes” and they are here now. So, if you are utterly disinterested in the truth and caring only about your leftist narrative, you have a tech tool designed to lie.

Yes while taxpayers have to stand in circles, 3500 hundred protesters are marching down diverse Bloor St. A security guard with a CP 24 news crew was roughed up, and the news crew was pushed around.
