  1. So what will the RCMP do if Muslim extremists decide to “camp” on rail lines?

They could lay out prayer mats and say they were peacefully praying to Allah.

Oh and they could light sacred fires on the tracks.

    1. There are numerous other groups in Canada that could block rail lines.

For example; long suffering Maple Laugh fans could block a line saying they’ll leave when the Laughs win the Stanley Cup.

      1. We may as well start tearing up railway tracks when they start with that as no rail traffic will be moving for at least the next generation.

  2. It’s cowardice, not prudence. It’s fear, not restraint. She is gutless the that has infected the entire corrupt and lost organization. When the RCMP don’t even know what their job is, the whole country is screwed. Don’t have much respect for these cowards afraid to enforce the law.

    1. I am losing respect also, but the RCMP know that the Trudeau will not support them if any arrests go bad.

And the Mohawk protesters will ensure it goes bad.

    2. How’s about we go Old West, deputize any able bodied individual, grab, transport to stockade etal. Appears the anointed branch is unwilling or unable to enforce the law. This is past ridiculous, let’s pull pin, and GETER DONE. Wow, law in Canuckistan is a joke. Enough already, my opinion.

    3. Their job? Bell boys for illegal transients, paper pushers, tax collectors and, when directed by the government, thugs to steal from and beat up us lowly subjects.

  3. Enforcement is the last option if there is a threat of violence? So the next time I get pulled over for speeding all I have to do is say I’m protesting, hint at the baseball bat under my seat, and the nice RCMP office will switch to an “enforcement is the last option” stance? SWEET!

  4. “Enforcement is the last option”

Good. Accelerate the decline and crash the system. Whatever comes after “KKKanada” can’t be worse than this.

    #Wexit

  5. Under the Spawn, the RCMP are at the blockades to protect the sanctity of those breaking the law and to threaten and or arrest anyone disturbing or clearing the blockade allowing transport and commerce to resume. Is this what the mindless drones who voted for the Spawn had in mind when they admired his well coiffed but otherwise empty head.

  6. RCMP Commisioner Brenda Lucki was an affirmative action hire by Trudeau.
    Just following orders…..

  7. Two top cops, neither of whom can do anything but waffle. It seems that para-military garb; masks; blockades that shut down the country, intimidation including fires and rocks (all out in the open and caught on camera); all in defiance of the criminal code and specific injunctions are all things that police officers and crown prosecutors need to “consider carefully” and not rush to judgment in taking action about.

Oh, and people who actually read plain-English definitions in the law are “a problem”.

  8. “Enforcement is the last option”

YOU MEAN ENFORCEMENT IS AN OPTION??
When did they come up with that heartless policy?
Will Blackie allow this travesty to stand? /s

  9. Absolutely outstanding speech by Pierre Poilievre during the emergency debate on the Teck withdrawal. Damn, I wish he had picked up the mantle and run for the leadership of the CPC.

    1. Unfortunately he is a man of few meaningful words. Many words, yes, but none that will lead to action; it’s a Canadian political thing.

Max and the PPC is your only alternative from the do-nothing politicos of the 4 main stream parties.

  10. It is obvious that our peace officers federal, provincial and municipal are now more revenue generators than peace keepers. They belong with the likes of CRA auditors and bayliffs.

I quote a retired R.C.M.P. officer who is a friend of mine, “I am embarrassed to admit that I worked for the R.C.M.P. ,I tell my friends that if you need help do not call the police, call the fire department they will actually show up”.

Respect for 100K annual salaried window peepers looking to see if you are on your phone at the ready with a 500 dollar plus fine, but can’t move illegal protesters 200 feet. Not happening.

Read the interesting history example below to see where we are and where we are going.

  11. Well then. I am no longer going to pay taxes. If they can choose which laws to enforce, then I do not have to follow any rules.

  12. Grew up in Regina Mounties used to be at least 6 feet tall and they were taught to be tough. Then they had mini Mounties and a female boss. Expect them to have pink serge soon and rainbow hats.

  13. A kick in the head of Buddy Tavares was what, then?
A corpse, holding a stapler, on the floor of Vancouver airport was what, then?
    Quite a U-turn, I should say.

    1. Oh, they’re great at bullying. In fact that is a trait of a bully. You beat on someone you perceive as weaker than you.
Bullies are usually afraid to fight someone that might hit back.

  14. Priorities people priorities. RCMP has clearly more important things to do like random harassment of law abiding gun owners and pulling drivers without a cause. Law abiding people are easier to police. And if they do not belong to a protected minority none listens to them anyway if they protest.

    1. Well, we know gun-toting white swupremacists are the enemy; not anyone shutting down communications, transport and threatening violence if resisted. no, no, no.

  15. With that public policy statement and other examples of it in practice. The Commissioner of the RCMP has just broken the terms of the RCMP for contract policing for the provinces, who haves such a contract.

Provincial governments not exercising their Constitutional responsibility to administer the law, are obligated, both politically and morally to provide that service. Since such Contract Policing has been violated, such other contract provisions e.i. the terms of it by date, are likewise null and void.

Those RCMP officers who signed on, in good faith, to enforce the law deserve our sympathy. Provinces providing a opportunity for them to switch to a new, professional grade, provincial police force would be the appropriate gesture.

While political correctness has seen some reductions in standards for the Horsemen. You have not seen anything compared to whom the Trudeau Liberals will be issuing arms and badges to, according to some observers. As for those wanting to adhere to the Common-Law/Constitutional principle of equality under the law. Politicized policy has meant; that though, they carry handcuffs. They wear them, too.

Canadian observers seeing a few handfuls of malcontents/anarcho-tyrannis types effect a shortage of vital supplies, (which meets a definition of terrorism charges), slowly, ever so slowly, they begin to understand how places like Venezuela and other failed states get there.

Provincial governments failing to act, thus commit a sin of omission, a a violation of their responsibility to the citizens who voted, both for and against, them. This is a crime against the electorate, whose ongoing voter consent is the only legitimate basis from which they can claim a mandate to govern.

So where is the legislative bill, on citizen initiated referendums, for Saskatchewan, as Alberta has promised?

    1. Good points. And this is just another reason why Alberta needs to give the RCMP the boot. The extension of their contract by that moron Stelmach was an enormous mistake. But Stelmach himself was a mistake.

  16. The Canadian society are having a soft Coup…. The system has failed for normal Citizens….

it is normal that all Civil savants may be dismissed for “Malfeasance: and all benefits are voided…OPP & RCMP eliminated. What other option is available to Canadian Society…. The USA environmental activists have taken over Canada..

If you are a Canadian Patriot it is time to file a criminal Complaint against the USA… Money & activists are dominating your Country… It is illegal & a USA Federal crime… Get it done… Serve the Canadian USA Ambassador with notice of criminal liability…..They must respond!

    JMHO

  17. So the barricades are manned(?) by AK-47 totting warriors as stated by the Quebec leader and therefore he will not enforce the law. Now we have the RCMP commish stating that enforcement is the last option. So when my firearms permit expires does that mean I don’t have to renew it, because I’m protesting the overreach of government interference in private property. Yeah, that’ll fly like a lead pig! I’d have the redcoats kicking down my door just like they did in High River.

  18. As a Kleptocracy collapses it is vital for the ruling fools and bandits to criminalize honest behaviour.
I am fascinated by Bill Blairs idiocy.
    This was a “Top Cop”?
Now the Federal Ministers of Can Ahh Duh have been insisting all month that “The RCMP answers to no one”.
Pretty sweet gig, sure explains the “investigation” of Their crimes in High River.
Now we have been treated to Police Chiefs, since Caledonia, explaining why they will not enforce the law,why court injunctions are not to be enforced and protecting their ever growing “client Base” from the increasing wrath of the citizens.
But while they proudly inform us why the law cannot be enforced and why they will not do their jobs..none have resigned.
So the police chiefs are just fine with this “Just Us System”.

So now the feds have come clean and admitted the Police have no oversight and are “above the law”,can we act accordingly?
There is no justice nor equality before the law in this broken confederation.
So without citizen action there is no protection of persons nor property.
The RCMP Commissioner is bragging about this state of affairs.

New Country, open carry, concealed carry or no carry, you are on your own.
When seconds count, the state “helpers” will always be minutes away and disinterested in protecting the taxpayer.

Seeing what a farce law and law enforcement have become,we can now identify another massive savings for the taxpayer.
And without the cops, there will be no state agency protecting repeat murders from the public.
    Police informant ring any memories?
A criminal investigation agency could be contracted ,by local authorities, to do all the good the RCMP ever did.
Bureaucracies never did understand working folks need for policing,a short trial and a tree, ensured the dangerous and clueless never troubled another productive persons life.
Today I refuse to even acknowledge witnessing a crime, because the process is naked abuse.
The criminal is guaranteed to walk and the victims and witnesses are going to have a huge amount of their time wasted.
Can Ahh Duh…Are we done yet?

    1. I am fascinated by Bill Blairs idiocy.
      This was a “Top Cop”?

Blair was the Feyd Rautha to Fantino’s Rabban.

    1. The principles that our government has set aside in order to appease the masses will in the end be their undoing.

      Society – A Contract
“Society is indeed a contract. It is a partnership . . not only between those who are living, but between those who are living, those who are dead, and those who are to be born.”
      — Edmund Burke, Reflections on the Revolution in France (1790)

      Government – First Duty
“The first duty of the sovereign [is] that of protecting the society from the violence and invasion of other independent societies, [which] can be performed only by means of a military force.”
      — Excerpt from The Wealth of Nations Book V, Chapter I, Part I Adam Smith (1723 – 1790)

      Government – Second Duty
“The second duty of the sovereign, that of protecting, as far as possible, every member of the society from the injustice or oppression of every other member of it, or the duty of establishing an exact administration of justice”
      — Excerpt from The Wealth of Nations Book V, Chapter I, Part II Adam Smith (1723 – 1790)

  19. Canada does not have the rule of law, we are ruled by a boy-king who decides who is ‘deserving’ of His favour and who is not. Wexit.

    1. But at least there aren’t troops marching in the streets, right?

Right around the time of Prinz Dummkopf’s coronation, I was on the chat service of a certain website. I started discussing that election with someone located in the Maritimes. He was delighted that Harper got the boot for the aforementioned reason, going on to say that the former PM should be in jail for treason. Then again, that person voted for Mulcair. Go figure.

      WEXIT and long live Rupertsland!

    2. Jon,

The RCMP Commis is a wet nurse Social worker… Justice be dammed… The SCOC gave all Metis the same Indian Status… Who was that Metis who was AG working against Canada…Small wonder

  20. So other citizens shooting the layabouts that are blockading like BANANAs… can expect to not be prosecuted?

Be consistent. If you don’t want to prosecute the second group, then enforce the law on the first group.

  21. Look at the choices they are presented with. Which one would you choose?

    Option One
They bust a Crack house suspected of also having underage prostitutes.
They spend day or weeks with the place under surveillance, photographing all who enter. They spend many hours checking the faces with mug shots to identify as many as possible.
They go to ta just to get a search warrant. The Judge turns them down. They start again.
The finally get their warrant after months of effort.
They make a cursory check of the address vs the Gun registry. Of course they are no firearms listed. They armour up before going in anyway because they know there will be weapons and because a knife can often penetrate vest. They know that some will resist arrest and there will be drama. Drug addicts are not rational.
Their case may be thrown out due to a technicality such as getting the date wrong on the warrant, or getting the address wrong (1234 Crack Whore Lane should have been 1234A Crack Whore Lane). It could also be overturned on appeal when it is discovered that after getting stabbed in the thigh by a Crack Whore, one officer called her a Bitch.
Even if convicted, all involved may only get probation and they are all back at the house in days or weeks.

    Or

    Option Two
They drive down a street with working street lights and randomly enter addresses into the firearms database until they get a hit. There is no need to get a search warrant so this is very easy, risk free, takes little time, and is even fun. That’s right, no probable cause required. Firearms owners have less rights than a convicted drug dealer.
They knock on the door and state they are there to ensure you are complying with firearms laws. They don’t bother to armour up because they know they are safe. They might call for backup so their bored friends can join in the fun.
They probably won’t find any infractions, so they invent them. Even though it is legal to store ammunition with a firearm provided they are in a locked safe, they will claim it is against the law.
Your firearms are seized and you are arrested. You now have to prove you didn’t break the law.
They will hold a press conference displaying your firearms, which include pellet rifles, 22s, 410 shotguns, and 100-year-old hunting rifles. The monumentally ignorant general public is relived they got these assault weapons off the street. The RCMP proudly bask in this praise. What fun!
Only 80% of your firearms make it into the evidence list. Your collectables have already disappeared into the private collections of Officers present, and are now in one of their huge houses they bought with their $100,000 salaries. Your hand guns, if you have any, go ‘missing’ from police lockups. They later turn up at crime scenes, but with the serial numbers files off.
You end up losing your house as well as your firearms. If, by some miracle, you win your case, you are still broke, they may still refuse to return your firearms, and if they do, they will be damaged, often severely.

Given a choice, which of the two paths above do you think they’ll take? It is always going to be Option Two, until they become more afraid of legal gun owners than they are of drug dealers. I can’t see that happening.
