In a press release, the DOJ said that one of the lead plaintiffs’ attorneys, Timothy Litzenburg, who helped land a $289-million hit job against Monsanto has been arrested for the attempted extortion of $200 million from another chemical company involved in the production of Roundup.
If the company (which the Wall Street Journal identified as Nouryon) did not cough up the money, Litzenburg would send in a “parade of horribles” (i.e., cancer patients) like he did to Monsanto, according to an affidavit. He also promised a “40 percent stock loss” and a “public relations nightmare.” But if Nouryon complied with his demand, then he would intentionally lose the case, just like the Black Sox in the 1919 World Series.
And, as it just so happens, Litzenburg has a buddy in Carey Gillam, a former journalist who left Reuters under troublesome circumstances (see image) and subsequently took a job with the anti-GMO activist organization U.S. Right to Know (USRTK). USRTK, a corporate front group that is primarily funded by the organic industry, routinely smears and spreads disinformation about biotech scientists.

I have been in heavy industries all my adult life and I have discovered that EVERY so-called “environmentally correct
alternative” either uses more energy, is totally ineffective, more expensive, or all of the above. Roundup works, but
if you use the water/salt/vinegar alternative, you might as well use fertilizer against weeds.
I worked in a plant in Marxifornia, and the state bribed the company with subsidies to replace all of its conventional
fluorescent light fixtures with CFL tubes. With the exception of VHO (Very High Output) fixtures, the CFLs used more
energy than the old fixtures.
Every industrial mechanic grew up using chemical solvent tanks to clean parts. It was called safety solvent (basically
paint thinner.) The replacement? Hot soapy water does not cut grease, and for all the good that crap was, you might
as well have whipped it out and pissed on the parts!
No modern replacement for CFCs is as effective and efficient as what we grew up using.
PCBs were used as a transformer coolant primarily because they were non-flammable, unlike the new oils.
Nobody has ever found an effective replacement for DDT or Asbestos as an insecticide or insulation. DDT eradicated
Malaria and increased crop yields, and the Chrysotile Asbestos used in 99.99 percent of heat insulation in North America
was as benign as cotton candy!
