  1. We are being Gamified

    Part 1

This is part 1 of 3 videos discussing the Gamification of our society. As machines take over our jobs, what will people do? It is likely, they will play games. Video games. This video discusses the implications and the philosophies behind the movement both from science fiction and fantasy, to the most influential academics

    Part 2

This is part 2 of 3 in the “We Are Being GAMIFIED” series. In this video, we look at cryptocurrency and blockchain tech, especially with the latest news about #Facebook releasing their Global Coin #Libra in hopes to gain influence in the future of finance. Yes, Facebook is going to be a bank.

    1. Facebook is going to be a bank.
Oh boy, given how they handle their customers privacy,I wonder what their version of financial data security, will be?
Monty Pythons “Blackmail” the TV series comes to mind.

        1. Johnnie Cash is the way to go, the trouble is our side of the family is more closely related to Johnnie’s brother ‘Shorty’.

        2. uhuh.
and when it’s all scooped up and turned into a debit card and card readers are handed out like cracker jack prizes, and the ONLY place cash exists is museums and coin dealers?
          .
          .
          .
          .
          .
          what then?
other than ‘mark of the beast’ days?
          hmmmmm?

          1. We use something else as a a means to trade and barter with that is outside of the reach of government but of course we’re simply engaging in giving out presents to each other and not circumventing anything at all.

We Canadians are such good hearted people.

    2. Blain: “Facebook Is Positioning For What Comes Next: The Complete Collapse Of Confidence In Fiat Money”

And Facebook is launching its own Cryptocurrency. You have to be f*th*ng kidding me…? Given everything we think know about Facebook, would you let them run money? It ain’t ever going to happen if the regulators get a say.

I suspect Facebook is taking a position for a possible next stage of this ongoing Financial Meltdown – the complete collapse of confidence in Government Fiat money. I’m increasingly of the view that’s one of the potential unintended consequences of Modern Monetary Theory – but its complex.

      https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-19/blain-facebook-positioning-what-comes-next-complete-collapse-confidence-fiat-money

    1. That is fact. You can google “Cook consensus” to get the details – the actual # from the papers he reviewed, minus his heavily-biased filters, was 0.5 of 1%, up to as high as 3%. But just like the hockey-stick graph, we’re lambasted with it all day long.

  2. Two-Tier Justice: Liberals To Impose Tougher Penalties For Crimes Against Indigenous Women Than Against All Others

It’s Two-Tiered justice, and it’s not justice at all. It’s dangerous, and it’s a disgrace.

Crimes against all Canadians, regardless of background, need to be taken equally seriously. No Canadian is either more or less important because of our race. We are all part of the same Canadian Family, which provides us all with worth and dignity worthy of being respected.

Yet, by imposing two-tier justice, the Trudeau government is insulting tens of millions of Canadians, dividing our nation, and putting their obsessive virtue-signalling ahead of Canada’s values and ahead of the good of the Canadian People.

    https://www.spencerfernando.com/2019/06/18/two-tier-justice-liberals-to-impose-tougher-penalties-for-crimes-against-indigenous-women-than-against-all-others/

    1. – Wonder what the penalty for indecent assault against a female reporter will end-up being?

      1. forgot to mention ….the tougher penalties are in response to the “genocide report” .
Meanwhile most of the indian women were/are assaulted and murdered by Indians.

        1. Correct, I guess this will lead to increased prison sentences for indian men.

    2. Ken – They’re going to have a tough time squaring that decision with the Gladue decision which was basically a get out of jail free card for Indians.

    3. I think that should be illegal. It certainly is a violation of the principle of justice. It will also backfire because (unacknowledged in the report) the majority of the crimes against indigenous women are committed by indigenous men. It is also the case that although these women are disappearing, the perpetrators (apart from the boyfriends and husbands) are not being caught. Not a good place to start.

  3. There is no climate crisis, our political classes have beclowned themselves yet again.

However, there is a communist resurgence crisis and that needs MAX pushback.

  4. Eighteen

    I stood watching
    as you crossed the street
    for the last time.
    Trying hard to memorize you.
    Knowing it would be important.
    The way you walked,
the way you looked back over you shoulder at me.

    Years later
I would hear the singing of the wind
and the day’s singing would come back.
That time of going would return to me
    every sun-gray day.
April or August it would be the same
    for years to come.

Man has not made the kind of bromide
that would let me sleep without your memory
    or written erotically enough
to erase the excitement of just your hands.

These long years later it is worse
for I remember what it was
as well as what it might have been.

    Rod McKuen

    1. Beautiful. Thanks. It inspires me to read poetry, which I seldom do. Earlier generations paid a lot more attention to poetry than our current generations. For them it was inspiring, thought provoking, or sometimes consoling. We Tweet instead of reading or writing poetry.

    2. I remember Rod McKuen. a gentle man who searched his whole life for his biological father, and directed his pain into beautiful poetry, which I didnt ‘get’ because of my numbers numbers numbers hard factual evidence autism.
but I saw the poetry and beauty of his words even though I didnt ‘get’ the imagery.
I dont ‘get’ a LOT of stuff, but da good Lord saw fit to grant me gifts to more than make up for that.

    1. Robert – a good and important post.

Robson has kicked Raitt to the curb. She may not recover from this foolish outburst.

Scheer would be well advised to distance himself from Raitt.

  5. Trudeau’s CBC continues to smear Conservative MP Michael Cooper this morning, for stating that Canada was founded on Christian principles and possible saying negative things about our new state religion islam. The Conservative Party is full of Nazis. And Great Leader Little Potato burns jet fuel to Washington tonight, to learn how to be a golf caddy for Trump and the Chinese president.

    1. “…to learn how to be a golf caddy for Trump and the Chinese president.”

If only he were one, instead of PM.

    2. Even Cooper’s comments to the Muslim witness were not particularly offensive. The guy was stereotyping Conservatives and Cooper called him on it. He should not have been expelled. Now he has stuck his head up and will become a target for anti-Conservatism at the CBC. Going after a relatively trivial incident that may or may not have happened simply sows more unnecessary anger and division. Now they want witnesses who came to Cooper’s defense to sign affidavits. It’s like the McCarthy hearings.

    3. It will be interesting to see if Trump even talks to bongo.

The chicoms will not let him near their guy.

  6. [deleted for offensive language. Changing the spelling of profane words does not grant you immunity. I said I was going to crack down on this and I meant it. – ED]

  7. BLACKLISTED: Google Keeps A List of Conservative & “Fringe” Sites To Censor

    From Mac Slavo, SHTFPlan:

A new report is showing that Google keeps two lists in order to blacklist those who won’t promote the official government narrative. Those lists are composed of “conservative” and “fringe” sites, and Google allows their employees to remove those blacklisted sites from web searches.

This blacklisting is nothing more than censorship by a different name. Google decides what you will be exposed to and they don’t want certain websites to give you information that goes against the mainstream media’s narrative.

The lists, according to The Daily Caller, allow Google employees (who CEO Sundar Pichai told Congress in December never “manually intervene on any particular search result”) to suppress certain web addresses in a user’s search results.

While mainstream media suffers daily under the weight of waning trust and falling ratings, there isn’t much left to do for the elitists but shut down all dissent.

  8. There is a very old story about scientists and how they are the first to question their own theories – make a theory and then try and disprove it. Not so much in the world of climate science. The climate scientists are all rushing to the Arctic (well one very small part of the Arctic) to study the loss of permafrost. Here it’s the Dempster Highway, not that far from Alaska which is also reporting unusually warmer temperatures and loss of permafrost.

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/the-national-permafrost-thaw-inuvik-tuktoyaktuk-1.5179842

I’m not hearing any stories from around Hudson Bay, Northern Quebec or Labrador about permafrost disappearing. I don’t want to accuse the scientists of only studying where the permafrost is disappearing and then using the words “in the Arctic” but how about a more systematic approach (scientists)?

  9. National Citizen’s Coalition not impressed with the Trans Mountain announcement.

And the worst part? It’s looking more and more like Trans Mountain is being used as a trojan horse to finally accomplish their foreign-funded goal to sabotage our resource sector. With plans to use 100% of proceeds from the pipeline for green corporate welfare, it’s clear that the Liberals’ sole medium-term use for the Trans Mountain pipeline is to finance the end of Canadian oil and gas for good, from inside the industry itself.

      1. I don’t think any poll suggests Max will form government. The pollsters in the US had HRC winning by over 90%

  11. The climate emergency continues here in Edmonton. We’re being emergencied with rain, something the farmers sure could use. Oh, the climatity!

  12. Great Leader Groper so far is answering every question in Question Period, with its Harper’s fault. And Trudeau’s CBC is now teaming up with the Liberal Party today, to use MP Cooper as an example that the Conservative Party is full of Nazis.

  13. On the Cult of Calamitous Climate.
How come our politicians fall for this con?
I mean they are con artists of the highest order, the best freeloaders in the land,so if any one can spot the old three step shuffle,it ought to be our Members of Parliament.
So why are the Conservatives so afraid to call it for what it is?
A naked grab for power and wealth.
Robbing the many to enrich the few(And well connected).

    Are they fools?
Or such determined bandits, that they must prolong the lie,to enable themselves to roll in the tax dollars if they win?
We know the State is bankrupt,so is the revenue from taxing air and selling indulgences so critical to the survival of our parasitic government, that even the “loyal”opposition must lie?.
Is our financial state such a hot potato that no one wants to hold it?

We truly are lead by the finest…

The world ends not for lack of babies but because we run out of true grown-ups.

From Wild Bill at The Prepper Journal, about what the founders would find

Unbelievable in the diseases that have been conquered, mystified as to why they have been permitted to again fester and spread in the name of political correctness and globalism.

From former Intel CEO Andy Grove, via Of Two Minds

Success breeds complacency. Complacency breeds failure. Only the paranoid survive.

From James Dakin at Bison Prepper

Democracy simply doesn’t work because it is a feminized form of governance, one based on emotionalism.

From Guillaume Durocher at Unz Review

Freedom is a man’s honor-bound determination to prefer death to slavery, to live gloriously and well, according to his nature, rather than submit. Collectively, freedom is a coalition of such men.

From Addison Del Mastro at American Conservative, about Naples

There are bustling outdoor farmers’ markets, the kind that Americans view as lifestyle adornments for the affluent, and that the rest of the world sees as grocery shopping.

    From Esoterictrad, about leaders

We live in a collapsing decadent Empire that is in denial about where it is heading. Limelight leeches are no help, they are destructive to the truth.

It’d be nice to pin down the precise reason IQ scores are dropping before we’re too stupid to figure it out.

From Irwin Shapiro of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, quoted at Ancient Origins

Looking at all the anomalies and unanswered questions about the Moon, the best explanation for the Moon is observational error. It doesn’t exist.

    From the

    http://www.woodpilereport.com/

    1. Via Forbes at Principia Scientific cites evidence “the war on hydro-carbon fuels will have no measurable effect on global temperatures”.

Al Gore did a great job to dramatise the recurring cycles of glaciation and carbon dioxide in his widely acclaimed work of science fiction. But he missed two “inconvenient truths”.

First, the ice cores show that in the glacial spring-time the temperature rose before the CO2 levels rose. Therefore the rising CO2 cannot be a cause of the warming – it is a result of CO2 being expelled from the warming oceans.

Second, at the top of every summer-time in the glacial cycle, the high levels of CO2 in the atmosphere were totally unable to prevent the cooling into the next cycle of ice. CO2 levels fell later as the cooling oceans absorbed more CO2.

      Also from the Woodpile Report

  16. Trudeau’s CBC had a story today that Nazis are running rampant at Trump rallies. 12 members of the Proud Boys showed up and taunted the anti Trump demonstrators with words like snowflake. How awful. I’m sure the CBC will keep us informed.
