    1. Yes Rex raises good points. With respect to the oligarchical socialists in big tech, there is the danger to the middle class.

      Posted before, but worth a review along with Rex’s thoughts, and on point with this thread.

Our new economic overlords are not typical anti-tax billionaires in the traditional mode; they see government spending as a means of keeping the populist pitchforks away. This may be the only politically sustainable way to expand “the gig economy,” which grew to 7 million workers this year, 26 percent above the year before.”

      Handouts, including housing subsidies, could guarantee for the next generation a future not of owned houses, but rented small, modest apartments. Unable to grow into property-owning adults, they will subsist while playing with their phones, video games and virtual reality in what Google calls “immersive computing.”

      Yes, the peasants are revolting, so it’s OK to be revolted by them and their revolution. Actually not easy at all as all their contradictions, human corruption and actual criminality, all in pursuit of power, are their only end.

      Start charging these selfish socialists and let the chips fall where they may.

      Start with Comey, charge him with all of it, lying to Congress, felonious misrepresentations to FISA courts, intentional breaches of security and outright corruption and mendacity at his supposed ignorance that Hillary funded the Steele dossier which Comey and other knowingly and intentionally used to mislead courts in the quest for abuse of power, notwithstanding 243 “I can’t recalls” or “don’t knows.”

      Make sure the establishment finds out once and for all this is unacceptable and will treated as illegal conduct.

  3. I have banned Google from my computer activities and use Duck. I don’t use gmail, I avoid anything Google. I use facebook only to access other facebook accounts. I only use Twitter for viewing other people’s tweets. I previously tried Twit and FB and got banned for just about anything I said. So use them only for information and try not to let them use me.

      2. shitty smitty, his org was taken to court 3 times here in Ontario, to reverse wills that his org had put in their name. They placed org people in homes of old couples and got them to change their wills. The children of these couples took silly graham to court. Also silly graham apologized for his anti semitic remarks he made will talk to Nixon. This court actions against silly graytheif were part of the impetus for the “power of attorney” aws here in Ontario. Why is that you uninformed religion nut-jobs also way defend the indefeasible when your kristian bed fellows fukk up. Same as the poor dears who get butthurt when the truth about the pedo-priests gets discussed.

        1. I’ve read of a case in Brockville but not the others. Someone of any age wants to leave a portion of the money which will otherwise go to the federal government to a Christian group does not make them thieves. Altho’ greedy kin can make a case and usually win. Ottawa just got more of the money in the estate, that was all.

  9. We are aware that DuckDuckGo uses Google as a back end search engine, right? The only thing DuckDuckGo does is strip out the identifying metadata that allows Google to tune its search results to your existing search history so that when I Google for “RPG” I get games and not grenades.

    If Google image search is showing you pics of Adams in a Nazi uniform it’s because your previous search history makes it think you want to see results from that site.

    This is the tech equivalent of worshiping the image of Jesus on a piece of burnt toast.

      I have never Googled for Scott Adams nor for Nazis.

      When I did Google for images of him, it returned 3 Nazi images on the first page. Duck duck go returned none – page after page.

      Visiting both again under an alter ego – different machine – same result.

    And while I want to see Google management get stomped,breaking them up may not be necessary.
    Given their present behaviour, I will be surprised if Google is even a thing in 10 years.
    Telling over half your customers that you are smarter than them,better than them and harbour a deep and blatant contempt for your customers and especially their privacy. Should work out real well .
    Given the “Tech Lords” current public relation skills,they will be lucky to escape to a “safe” country.
