“Tis’ the season once again. Macy’s has hired Bernie Sanders to play Santa Claus. All the kids will line up, jump on him and then he’ll tell them what HE wants!”

    1. How come when Max is mentioned in a favourable light this website just keeps on adding topics so it just disappears…

      Coincidence?

    1. Google teamed up with Moslems is evil incarnate. You don’t take them over, you nuke em. Literally.

    2. Trudeau will pass a bill mandating all Canadian cell phones will have the APP.

To be honest I WANT one!

There are many Infidel Progressives and gays strolling freely on Canadian streets, If I had an easy app I’d be punching it and reporting them until my thumb went blue!

    1. Has he ever taken responsibility for anything? He’s not only irresponsible and incompetent, he’s completely lacking in integrity.

  2. I work all over Canada and just so you all know the bought off press are promoting hatred in between the provinces peoples don’t fall for it and call anyone out who does…

This isn’t English French or have or haves not most normal people want out of this leftist alliance between governments and the press.

Canada is going to turn a hard right in 2019 and it won’t be sheer and don’t give in to fear…

There’s only one new political party that isn’t Globalist controlled yet if your all that dam mad support the Peoples Party and give Max the power to kick out the elitist leftist Globalist he is our only chance…

We are already screwed so we the people need to stick together as the corrupt try to corrupt us all one last time and kill our very last shot of redemption.

    God help us all

    1. From Max:

I’m fairly certain that some of you in this room are not happy about my departure from the Conservative Party.

Perhaps you believe I should have stayed and pushed for my ideas within the party. That we should have remained united to beat the Trudeau Liberals next year.

I tried to do this for more than a year, without success. And it was my plan to continue until just a few days before my resignation.

When my tweets about radical multiculturalism created a storm in early August, I thought I was expressing what almost all conservatives believe in.

We must start pushing back against this politically correct nonsense that’s destroying our society and culture. But the reaction from my Conservative colleagues was universally negative.

And then, in a phone conservation, Andrew Scheer told me I did not represent the party and my ideas were not welcome. He repeated the same line publicly. And I was told to either shut up and toe the party line, or leave.

This should not have surprised anyone. Andrew plays the same game of pandering as Trudeau.

Are you following him on Twitter or Facebook? Every second day, he wishes happy independence day, or happy whatever holiday, to Canadians who immigrated here from this or that country. He seems to be running not for Prime Minister, but for Secretary General of the UN.

This is the Trudeau way of doing politics. Focus on what divides us instead of appealing to our common identity and treating us as Canadians first and foremost. That’s not the conservative way.

So, what should I have done? There comes a time when you have to choose. Choose to play along in a losing game. Or choose to be true to yourself, true to your principles, and loyal toward all the people who support you.

I chose the principled alternative. And I hope to convince you to do the same.

      1. Max
You more than any other person will help Justin Turdeau get elected in 2019. Whilst I like a lot of your policies, I watched the Conservatives and Wild Rose split the vote in Alberta in 2015. We got the NDP – which is far worse than either Conservatives or Wild Rose.

The sad lesson of politics, which unfortunately the Liberals have learned, and Rachel Notley learned, is you keep quiet about much of your policies (e.g. Alberta NDP carbon tax), or you lie about them (e.g. Justin Turdeau saying he’d run modest deficits and balance budget by 2019). Once you are elected, you bring in your true policies.

Surely the primary objective should be to get Justin Turdeau out of office?

Max with 49% of the conservative vote at the last leadership campaign, you had a powerful base inside that party. If you were still in the party, the conservatives may very likely have won the next election. With that base you could have played an important role in getting a lot of your own policies adopted, because the conservatives would be in power for 4 to 5 years. If, as you say, the people would not vote for Scheer cause he is Turdeau light, and the conservatives did not win the next election, then you’d have been in great shape to become leader.

Splitting the center-right vote only helps Turdeau get elected, or even worse the NDP.

        1. Please : ). There you go with the Sheer fear again… We Already have a Globalist PM and Sheer is the same as Trudope.

I’m voting for Max and at my local Christmas Parade when my conservative MP drove by I yelled out to him I’m voting for Max and you should of seen the fear in his eyes…

          Priceless…

There’s only one non elitist leftist Globalist Party in Canada and it’s headed by Max…

Sheer sold out to the left elitist Globalist a while ago…

          1. Excuse me, Scheer is the same as Trudope?
That is PPC propaganda to assist Bernier in his vanity project.
            Scheer:
            – lower taxes
            – control spending.
            – control immigration.
            – pipelines to tidewater
            – encourage foreign investment.
            – roll back regulation
            – Canada 1st
That doesn’t sound like Trudeau to me!!!
You PPC’ers can take your Scheerdeau nonsense and s_____e it.

Bernier is a traitor. Plain and simple.
Bernier had multiple shots at greatness with Harper, he was not held back, he failed multiple times, poor judgement, embarrassing himself & the government.
He is showing that poor judgment again.
He’s a flake, and I think he was bought off.
A vote for Bernier is a vote for Trudeau. Absolutely unacceptable.
This country will be unrecognizable if that idiot & his Butt buddy get 4 more.

          2. Actually Scheer is worse than Trudeau in some ways. He wants to elevate the regional development boards within cabinet. Was more militant about defending supply management.

Bob’s list is simply fanfic. There’s no reason to believe any of it, and your delicious impotent tears are all the more reason to vote for Max.

        2. I told a local candidate I could not support the conservatives at this time because I wanted to see what Max was going to do, and I was not impressed by the Scheer stupidity of the Dairy Queen. She tried your line of reasoning and claiming that Max could not play ball properly. I reminded her that leadership involves managing those around you, and that Stephen Harper seemed to do just fine for over a decade with Max.

Really, defeating Justin Trudeau, even with another Harper, only buys the country an extra decade fighting the bureaucracy before the cycle brings back Liberals intent on forging a balkanized Laurentian Empire with no unifying culture. We need the provinces to work together on forcing radical institutional change, and if some are unwilling we need to save what we can as we head for the fire escapes.

          1. Will you say the same thing if Turdeau is re-elected?

I watched the center-right vote get split in Alberta and we got Nutley and her nut cakes. Now that was a disaster just as bad as Turdeau.
By the way I like a lot of Max’s policy positions. But I absolutely do not want Turdeau re-elected

          2. ” I reminded her that leadership involves managing those around you”

And Scheer totally blew it with Max. Scheer imagined himself a little Napoleon (or Trudeau) who couldn’t tolerate the opinions of almost half of members as expressed by Max. The Conservative Party must welcome a wide diversity of opinion on the right or it has no reason to exists.

          3. Bob Daye-
            You seem to forget:
            – supporting Trudeau on NAFTA
That was the biggest opportunity to nail Trudeau. All he had to do was push the final USMCA terms, and explain why they were good for Canada, and sound in principle. This would have put Trudeau in an impossible spot, and allowed him to explain to the nation how Lib policies have destroyed industrial Canada, whereas the NA content provisions would encourage Canadian manufacturing across the board. At the same time, he could have shown how duplicitous and manufactured the milk dispute was. But Sche(m)er is no leader, and content to personally profit by allowing Trudles to rape Canada.

By allowing Trudles to escape the re-negotiation unscathed, She(m)er has guaranteed another Lib government will be returned in 2019.

          4. “NA content provisions would encourage Canadian manufacturing across the board.”

No they wouldn’t, and even if they did it comes at massive cost to Canadian consumers.

        3. bingo.
scheer is a turdoo wannabe, but he’s the conservatist(?) wannabe.
the trick is to get the turdoo OUT of orifice and then next round, get scheer OUT of orifice by arranging a leadership vote when he inevitably falls flat on his 2-sided mouth.
that dear SDA is Cdn politics in a nutshell.

nutshell. ya, the nation is a shell of itself run by nuts.

          1. I’ve sometimes wondered if the Conservative party had been infiltrated by Liberals prior to the leadership convention. They would have made sure that someone like Bernier would never be chosen.

          2. B A Deplorable Rupertslander, no need to wonder, they did not have to infiltrate much (same as the teachers unions in Alberta choosing the Red Queen), a quirk in the leadership rules allowed a very small group from the Quebec dairy lobby to take over the party.

Does anyone else find it even plausible that all the Quebec votes would go to someone in the west and ignore the highest profile Quebecois leading the race to the last minute?

Don’t suggest it is scandal either, I have lived and worked and socialized among French Canadians, and it would be seen as an asset that he was caught banging biker chicks. Hell, the strip bars there cater to the visually impaired and offer the show in braille.

  3. I appreciated the little exchange between Max and Joe above. What a dilemma we real conservatives have, hold our nose and vote Scheer or vote for our principles and vote Max. I expect that there will be a PPC candidate in the riding I live in. There is a bright, honest, gold mining engineer in our neighborhood who is a member.

    Somewhat related below.

“Michael Brendan Dougherty of National Review notes the oddity of the times “when many conservatives see working-class people pitching a riot in France and instinctively sympathize with them.”

“Nor is it only those left behind in the hinterlands who are unhappy and feel betrayed by liberalism. Many on the left, especially among the youth, have their own grievances against it, as seen in the surge in socialism’s popularity and the zealotry of those devoted to intersectionality and “social justice.”

“The left’s young radicals will be no more forgiving to the liberal elites than the populists will. In the end, they too will turn on those who led them to ruin. Failure demands the occasional blood sacrifice. The result will be ugly, no matter who wins. With the embers still aglow in France, the warning to the comfortable leaders of the West is unmistakable: Your time will come.” (Look at the rise of the radical left among the Democratic Party, Bernie Sanders, Kamal Harris, this Cortez anarchist, who is an Alexandra Kollontai wannabe). Someone voted for these radicals.

    1. The sad thing about France is many (most?) of the protestors are leftists who want more, not less, from the government. Higher minimum wages, better pensions, less tax on their pay checks, less gas taxes, better funding of the universities, better health care. They want more things from the government but they want to pay less tax.

Conservatives love to make fun of leftist protestors but there is no conservative leadership out there saying “lower taxes, less government, less benefits”. Not even in Canada.

    2. Heh, yea tough call – good comment on either side of the debate here.

At this point, it’s a little late to have “Max work from within” so it’s either vote principles or endure another 5 years of pot head socialism.

Voting principles, may have the long term effects of initiating change from a solid platform to start. The journey of 1000 miles, the other problem voting Sheep is that win or lose it doesn’t feel like a big change of Liberal policies either way.

    3. “Michael Brendan Dougherty of National Review notes the oddity of the times “when many conservatives see working-class people pitching a riot in France and instinctively sympathize with them.”

National Review, there is the problem. Globalist Neo-con Never Trumper rag these days.

The essence of being a conservative is not about big business and not giving a shit about the working class. Studies have shown that conservatives are personally more compassionate and generous than leftists (leftists don’t feel the need to do it since it is societies obligation).

Conservatism is also a belief that one should be cautious when making changes with unknown consequences.

Conservatives also value all five of the foundations of moral values identified by Haidt, vs only two for the liberals, and this is found globally.

While the radical left is quick to violence, they don’t really understand it, it is just throwing a tantrum and they are seldom opposed. Those who understand violence are reluctant to engage in it except as a last resort. (Good manners evolved as a method of insuring one did not find an axe in ones skull.) When we see the reckless destruction being wrought by the Globalists who don’t care about their citizens, the destruction of institutions (and culture that can never be repaired), and that the people have had enough and run out of options, of course we sympathize with them instead of clucking our tongues because they chose to rage against the dying of the light rather than go quietly into that good night.

  4. I’m with you Joe. A vote for Max is vote for bongo.
I was recruited by the Reform Party at its inception. I politely declined.

My friends on the inside remained my friends. They worked in ernest. I respected Manning and he made it all the way to Leader of the Opposition. He never became PM.
What he did do was split the vote on the right ensuring the election of the libranos (3 straight) and having da liddle thief .

I like Max. His ideas are needed in the CPC. He could have been a powerful player in the party but his ego couldn’t
abide losing. It’s really too bad. Conservatives and Canadians are the losers.

    1. Sheer fear is now going bongos…

      Perfect…

You should be afraid of Max and his new 100% Conservative Party where Globalist Leftist and Elitist will never be welcome.

      We love bongos…

      Go Max Go

    2. Whenever someone makes a decision they should ask, “What is the worst that could happen?

Next “How likely is the worst to happen?”

Then “Can I live with it if the worst happens?”

The above does not mean you should be afraid of acting. I find it helps you make better decisions and just as important, be able to live with the results. Note I said live with any bad results, you do not have to like the results.

So vote for Max, if you can live with four more years of Turdeau.

I voted Wild Rose last time in Alberta. It was a protest vote. I
knew NDP could get in, but I thought it would be at worst a minority government or a slim majority.
My mistake was I didn’t think the NDP would be as bad as they are.

      Live and learn.

      1. I’m voting for Max so Sheer Trudeau light doesn’t get in as well.

I don’t want to just slow the bleeding of Canada’s sovereignty I want to cauterize it once and for all so stop blaming Max and his party for the mess that your sheer led party has made their beds with the Globalist and leftist so go cry trudope wolf all you want.

Many Canadians no longer trust any of our current political parties and politicians except for that new one made up from ordinary tax paying Canadians who haven’t sold out their country and will fight with Max to keep it.

Pity Party Sheer Supporters Tsk tsk tsk

        1. I’ll vote Trudeau light thank you. We have to remember Trudeau is not the the one calling the shots, he’s a puppet being programmed, the front man for the un-elected behind the curtains. We all know who that is.

I’m sorry Max took off, he should have stayed for another run within the party, I would support him again within the party but it would be folly to support him in his new incarnation. First things first, we need to get rid of the present Cabal. He could have made a huge difference as a member of the Conservative party. He made a move that could be the end of his chances of ever winning top job.

        2. Vote for Max, recognizing that splitting the center-right vote means Turdeau is likely to get in. If you can live with that – as I said above, good for you. You will be making a decision with an understanding of the consequences. That is what democracy is all about.

          1. Broken record with Pity Party Sheer supporter Crying wolf Trudope eh!

Canadians are fed up with the old corrupt political bull parties….

I’m voting Max with my vote, my time and my money.

Go ahead and have your Pity Party Sheer Cry wolf Trudope again…

It doesn’t work on us no more just like the corrupt media…

Real change is coming to Canada and there is nothing the corrupt Trudope = Sheer and media can stop us…

Canadians and Canada are going to win back what was stolen from us in 2019 and all the crying wolf can never stop us.

            Max or nothing

      2. Don’t let yourself off so easy.
You. YOU have greatly abused a hard won right.
        Smarten the frik up!

        Truck Fudeau!

    3. ” A vote for Max is vote for bongo.”

No it isn’t. It’s a vote for Max. You don’t understand how numbers work.

  5. https://globalnews.ca/news/4751451/family-canada-deported-christmas-eve/

CBSA is about to deport a family of six originally from Colombia. The family, unlike say, the Khadrs, have started several businesses and are making their way in Canada as useful citizens and taxpayers. Their youngest Son even plays on a hockey team. But after six years of trying to get citizenship, the LPC government is going to deport them to Colombia on Christmas Eve.

One of the commenters suggested they convert to Islam and commit a terrorist act, then they might let them stay.

    1. “commit a terrorist act, then they might let them stay.”

And Justin would give them $10 million of my money.

  6. Please Saint Andreas, hear our prayer …

In SF, it is now deemed to be … “demeaning” … to have a handcuffed suspect sit while detained on the street.

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/making-suspects-sit-on-ground-is-demeaning-san-francisco-police-chief-says-report

Just another reason to NEVER visit that island of misfit toys ever again. And if you cannot accurately predict how this will end badly for either the police or the public … likely BOTH … just aren’t very intelligent. So now we have defined “cruel and unusual punishment” as having your … feelings hurt.

  7. More settled science….scientists find 1.5 million penguins living on a tiny Antarctic island after developing an automated “poop-stain algorithm”.

    https://www.livescience.com/64282-hidden-adelie-penguin-supercolony.html

“Even so, spurred by the poop stains, the team journeyed to the Islands for a full survey, where they counted — physically on the ground and with drones — just how populated by this seabird they were. “In this area that’s so small that it doesn’t even appear on most maps of the Antarctic,” live more Adélie penguins than the rest of Antarctica combined, Lynch said.”

    1. “poop-stain algorithm”

It takes a scientist to figure out that with all those droppings there have to be some birds around there?

  8. The narcissist in chief has now suggested that he’d intervene in the case of Hueys CFO Megs Wazoo if the chicoms negotiate a good trade with the US. Presumably he’d drop the extradition charges and allow her to walk. This would get the US off the hook but would leave Canada hanging. We’re the ones who arrested her at the request of the US. The chicoms would turn on Canada with a vengeance.

This move would ignore the rule of law. While the narcissist might feel that’s ok as long as it serves his purpose it also says a lot about him. When then does he sell out the US when it serves his personal gain? Just askin’.

Bongo is caught in the middle of this. I see little chance of him winning and maybe this is how the narcissist planned it. He hurts bongo’s election chances and slaps the face of the chicoms. I dunno?

Canada has ignored the security threat the chicoms pose. Successive librano governments from p.e.t. forward have pandered to the chicoms probably enriching themselves and their friends in the process. Looking the other way while the chicoms ran roughshod over intellectual property rights, stealing patents and hacking our security. The Huey corporation owned by the chicom government might represent the worst of the worse.

    1. Liberal and conservative parties are to blame for this and many other things that is why both parties will lose significant votes for their coordinated bungling of Canada into the shite it has become today.

We need a new party a strong leader it’s Max or kiss this country goodbye…

  9. As SDA readers know, a Michael Kovrig — a Global Affairs official on leave with an NGO — has been detained by the Chinese police, in retaliation for Canada arresting a woman corporate leader. I have discovered that Mr. Kovrig is a heavy donor to Justin Trudeau’s federal Liberal party. According to Election Canada records, Mr. Kovrig made the following fonations:
    – October 11, 2015 $1,500
    – September 30, 2016 $1,525
    – December 26, 2017 $1,150
    – March 6, 2018 $1,500
    – November 18, 2013 $1,200 (to a local Liberal riding association in Toronto)
    Total $5,875

This doesn’t excuse China for its illegal detention. But it show the totalitarian state knows what it is doing, going after a crony of the Liberal party. If any SDA knows how to spread this information on the internet, please do. — David Murrell, Economics, UNB at Fredericton

    1. DM: Thanks for this.

It does indeed show that the chicoms know what’s going on. Kovrig is probably a chretien, power corp, mao strong stooge. The chicoms are well known for inventing charges, detaining/disappearing people that fall afoul of their agenda.

Megs Wazoo faces years in prison if the Americans decide to prosecute and Huey is found guilty. Canada has to follow through. Rule of law is what sets a democracy apart from tyranny. It’s the basis of freedom and liberty.

As much as I have trashed bongo here and elsewhere – I support Justin Trudeau on this file. Canada should immediately deport her to the US to face the charges alleged against her. It would go along way to showing the world what America is all about. There was a time when the Americans wouldn’t hesitate.

If the chicom diety is innocent as she suggests let that finding take place in a court of law.

  10. I better stay out of Chirer.
seeing as they are eavesdropping every second of every day via ms whoahey’s routers and servers, likely they caught wind of my anti-LIEberal = anti-chirese rants.
    lots of them !!!
chirer is showing for the billionth time they will crap on their friends to get what they want.
they crap on everybody to get what they want including a lot of chirese citoyens.

this is the dictatorship the turdoo admires.

  11. Thanks for that letter from Max. It has convinced me to join the PPC and volunteer to help them get their message out. They have a ton of great ideas that can turn this country around.
Trudeau is a traitor and Scheer is more Liberal-lite garbage.
    Go Max Go!

  12. CFACT meets “Les Gilets Jaunes” (the Yellow Vests)

CFACT met with “Les Gilets Jaunes” or Yellow Vests, that have been protesting the carbon taxes across France imposed by President Macron in compliance with the Paris Accord. While some protests have wrongly turned violent, the individuals near Marseille CFACT met were all peacefully demonstrating against Macron’s climate policies.

  13. Santa Trudeau was giving out Christmas gifts today, or as they say in Ottawa, Pre-Ramadan gifts. Yes Justin looks after his elitist friends. He announced four more senators to feed at the taxpayer trough. They are the usual feminists, whiny indians, and social activists. Yes more senators to spend their time discussing how Canadians are racist bastards.

  14. Balkanize into whatever. It is not working.

There’s too many cooks in the kitchen, spoiling the sauce. A Parliamentary System is a two Party System. How many Leaders do we need? How many Leaders do we have? Too many.

When Brian went bust, out came 2 seats under Kim. It was an embarrassment. Brian shouldn’t show his face anywhere now.

Then there was that business over Bouchard, then the business with the Reform, then there was the business when they united with MacKay, I thought, good then, they took long enough.

See a pattern? The Liberals are constantly splitting the Right. Now, they did it again. Let them have their little cheat-fest. When the Liberals come out smelling like roses again, separate. Close down the place. It is run by the least qualified and most unscrupulous individuals. We are a joke to the World, and they are laughing at us.

    We won’t get fooled again.

Now can you provide a peer reviewed citation for that hating brown people remark?

  15. The Scheer fear comments above are priceless.
You,you will split the vote criers, have not figured it out yet?
There is no conservative party of Canada.
They ,Harpers Crew and Justine’s Bunch, are all one party.
The results are there for all to see.
It matters not which of them holds elected office,Canada gets more debt, bigger government and fewer freedoms.
    This election is so easy.

    1. We have Chihuahuas. You could serve them a $75 bone in ribeye, and if they’re in a mood, they just turn their backs and walk away. But, if they run across deer pellets in the yard, well, that’s gourmet. Very frustrating. Now the shepherd mix, that’s a whole other story.

    1. I think Steeley Dan’s “Sultan of Swing” is profound. Have listened to it probably hundreds of times and it always sounds good.

    1. The tempo makes it a great driving song.

I remember when it was on the charts in 1978. It was released during the same summer that I saw attended the Beach Boys concert in the old Stampede Corral in Calgary and, a week later, the Eagles in McMahon Stadium. Ah, the memories…..

      One golden mouldy deserves another:

I remember hearing that song on Voice of America during my early days as a shortwave listener. I was still in high school.

This too is a great driving song. It’s Christopher Cross, an under- estimated musician who certainly has a fan following, myself included. Went sailing off Grand Bahama Island once. It was when a bottle of rum was only two bucks!

Nice song choice B A … Carly Simon is terrific. Her song:
” Nobody Does It Better” is wonderful too. It’s featured in one of the James Bond masterpieces. I like to binge watch Bond movies in the winter months!
