This Is Awkward

National Catholic Register;

In an extraordinary 11-page written testament, a former apostolic nuncio to the United States has accused several senior prelates of complicity in covering up Archbishop Theodore McCarrick’s allegations of sexual abuse, and has claimed that Pope Francis knew about sanctions imposed on then-Cardinal McCarrick by Pope Benedict XVI but chose to repeal them.

And I thought he was just a communist.

  1. So bring back Benedict XVI and reinstate same…cause nobody need this endlessly recurring ‘reach for your barf bag’ scandal.

  2. So it seems the Catholic Church has been one big pedophilia club for several centuries. I don’t believe molesting children was the belief of the gentleman whose teachings founded the religion.
The coverup at all levels, from Rome to small local churches is appalling. The local priest in my small prairies hometown was known to dally with hookers and no lad wanted to be caught alone with him after choir practice.
I have no idea how the mighty Church should handle this scandal.

    1. Communists protect the politbureau Elites … that’s all.

In this specific case … I don’t blame the church, but I blame … the man … yes, the man. Hardly a “Pope” as much as a leftist political appointee intended to bolster heeeespanick membership … since all the white folks fled the church long ago.

  3. Not a Catholic. Cannot remember the name but read a bio of an Italian communist who emigrated to the USA prior to WW ll. She was a member of the USA Communist Party until she found out that the party was prepared to have different unions physically fight one another to amp up public discord and foment social unrest.

She said that the communist had over 1200 members join the Catholic church to undercut the credibility and framework of American society. Communism and socialism have very long term strategies to achieve ultimate success.

Pedophiles are known to infiltrate parts of society where they can access their targets. Primary is education and churches. Amazing how the news focus on teacher/student relations when they are heterosexual exploitation. Pedophiles active in schools has to be happening but no exposed.

    1. “Pedophiles active in schools has to be happening but no exposed.”

That’s why they want Gay Grooming Clubs in school and to teach sexual perversion to 5 year olds.

      1. Premier Doug Ford is attempting to rollback this perversion in the most populous province.

      2. Why am I suddenly reading of countless FEMALE teachers diddling the little schoolgirls and boys? I assure you this NEVER happened when I was in school. At all. What has happened to our culture? What has happened to the the School Boards, School Administrators, and Principals (who ban The Pledge of Alleigiance)?

Well … I know what’s happened to them because of what happened to my own elementary school teacher wife at one of our local school districts. Despite her stellar academic credentials, including valid teaching credential … she was told (in so many words) by this one particular school district that they would never consider her job application. Why? Because she referenced her volunteer Church activities on her resume. The Lesbian District superintendent would NEVER consider her application. Instead, she hired and protected gay and lesbian teachers who were accused (rightfully) of diddling the kids. Including one NATIONALLY broadcast case. That particular school district is a shambles with horrifically awful test scores and graduation rates. But diddling-teachers found it to be a haven. No Christians allowed. Because they might “hurt” the children.

    2. It’s long been understood that the best place to meet homosexual men is in gay bars and Catholic seminaries. The Catholic clergy system welcomes unmarried men and puts them in charge of Catholic churches, schools, altar boys and choir boys where they are supervised by other unmarried and mostly gay men. What could possibly go wrong?

Acting surprised at this juncture is a bit disingenous. The Catholic church was and is a haven for homosexual men. They have a pedophelia problem but it always seems to be young boys that are preyed on by homosexual priests, bishops and cardinals… The only thing the church can do is admit it and clean house from top to bottom. If that includes the Pope, and it appears it does, then get rid of the guy or turn out the lights.

  4. “And I thought he was just a communist.”

Communists seem to defend the buggering of boys more than the rest of us. I say string them up.

The CAPTCHA seems effed this morning or I’m going blind.

    1. Communists are for anything that tears down successful societies. It’s essential that there be nothing good with which a communist society can be compared because it couldn’t stand the comparison.

      1. That is exactly the communist aim, and we see it full fledged assault in our society today. Lenin and Stalin taught them well.

  5. They could use a little ‘Eckhart’ for themselves by reading the works of one of the greatest (spiritual) teachers of our age. It would work wonders for these lost (souls) men. The author’s name is Eckhart Tolle.

  6. Alex Jones was right again.

I used to watch him just to get a kick out of his wild conspiracy theories. Now I watch him for the news 🙂

    1. Alex Jones’ audience has ballooned since the internet cartel has conspired to get rid of him. He is on close to 300 radio and TV stations and has managed to keep a substantial internet presence. He may be hard to find using Google and he’s banned on YouTube. It is not the things he makes up that concern the Democrats and the internet cartel. It’s the truth he reports that the mainstream media hides.

  7. ok…I’m going to go against the grain here….

Supposedly this guy was abused when he was 11…..and then abused for the next 20 years….that’s 31 years old

I’m sorry, but you don’t go on with that until you’re 31 if you don’t like it

If you don’t punch someone out or just walk away by the time you’re 16-18..you’re doing it on purpose

    1. The local RC organist is in jail for molesting a couple of boys. Hear their story before you judge. You weren’t molested and told you were gay as you were reaching puberty until your head was so screwed that the rest of your life is destroyed.
When I was molested by a farmer at 13 (and I’m a female) I was trapped and he was telling me I was enjoying his fondling.
Try not to be such an axxhole and show some compassion. It’s good for your soul.

        1. Truth is still truth. Victims are not inclined to take it easy on people who won’t listen. Reason being, that’s why we still have victims, grown men and women who won’t listen.

Bear that in mind the next time.

          1. good grief…..now I’m an asshole that won’t listen
things happened to me when I was a child….I’m not that child any more…I’m a different person…an adult
..and I don’t choose to live my life as a victim…over things I had no control over…I have control now and don’t choose to lose it

          2. Latitude said: “good grief…..now I’m an asshole that won’t listen”

I didn’t say that. I said you were not listening. Apparently still not listening.

        2. I’m 90 yrs and 1 day old, Latitude, and in my lifetime I never used any word stronger than darn, but I find now on SDA that it’s perfectly alright for gentlemen to use all kinds of language I was never exposed to before. I began to think think this was an old-boy’s club, some of the things I’ve read in comments. As an old-fashioned lady, I should have tried to find a different word but, sadly, all I’ve been left with on SDA is words like axxhole. Sorry. And I do mean that sincerely. I hate to have God see me stoop to that level.

          1. ..and you are obviously a very fine lady too….thank you….we grew up in a different time

          2. For everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday a big Thank You. One family member visited me yesterday and one good friend so I come on here to read the latest my SDA “acquaintances” are talking about.
Latitude, the organist was a smart guy (with money inherited from his father). His father was business man in our small town who was greatly respected and his “bit odd” son was a terrific musician. The shock is still reverberating around the town. Turns out he chose victims from poor troubled homes and paid them. That came out at his last trial. The boys both felt guilty but the $20. seemed like a God-send. Being told he was gay, really threw the one lad and no support from anyone to help him thru this rough period. Our upstanding churchman videotaped having sex with the boys as well as had hundreds of poloroids. I’d seen him in a nearby city wearing the coarse robes of a monk with a few mid-age men and what that mysterious group were no one seemed to know. (I attended a RC charismatic group for a couple of yrs, and so did he. I never saw monks.) Think back to what these young men were to do: our police chief was a Roman Catholic. Who would they go to, and who would believe them? Not one person out of our population of 5200., believe me. But today, thank God, it is a different story because we have found a hockey coach molested a group of our fine young boys. True horror story which made me thankful my son didn’t play hockey.

  8. Nothing to see here.
Just open your borders to migrants, like the old guy in the beanie and the long white dress tells you too….

    1. The church is losing membership and $$$ in all the industrialized, white, nations of the world. The church’s strongest membership is in piss poor heespanick countries of the world. It is a fantastic … business … move for the church to support … transferring all their poor parishioners into wealthy white countries, where they will obtain higher paying jobs and benefits. More $$$ for the collection plates … that’s all. That’s why, when the smoke cleared … The Catholic Church had elected a Communist, Globalist, Global Warmist (transfer the wealth) “Pope”.

  9. Just sickening the number of priests involved in predation of children. For me the proof of there is no god is thinking of children in places like Mount Cashel years ago in Newfoundland as they waited in fear as the priests would come in the dark. Worse was the police and citizens knew this was happening and did nothing about it. Its not just an isolated instance but as the article mentions thousands of cases with hundreds of priests involved. Allow priests to marry and this may cut down on this happening.

  10. The Vatican is a criminal money laundering and human trafficking enterprise.
Time to go full Henry and seize their assets and shut them down.

    1. And that’s the collective goal of the perverts, the commies, and the anti-Christs. And, Henry’s England has Londonistan as its capital. Progress.

      1. Why are you conflating shutting down a criminal enterprise with this filth? Has ZERO to do with it. The goal is to shut down this criminal enterprise, jail and execute criminals, seize their assets all obtained by conning innocent people and compensate victims.

        1. Careful, you are revealing the gay and commie agenda. You wanna hunt down and murder some priests and nuns too? How about seize all their property and give it the nobility in England and in France? It’s been done. How about a war? It’s been done in Spain, Russia, Mexico, and Germany.

“I am a Christian, and indeed a Roman Catholic, so that I do not expect ‘history’ to be anything but a ‘long defeat’ – though it contains (and in a legend may contain more clearly and movingly) some samples or glimpses of final victory.”
          – J.R.R. Tolkien

    1. Bingo! I am not Catholic but I hope it can recover and rebuild. This is not the first time since the Roman Emperor Constantine made Christianity the official state religion that a major crisis has shaken the Catholic Church foundation. In the late 10th century and on into succeeding centuries until about later Reformation time period the Church was involved in political activities to the extent that some Popes were even involved in murdering opponents.

Remember, we are all made of the same clay and not born good.

  11. In the formative years of the Church there were good reasons for a celibate priesthood (helps avoid a hereditary priesthood) but in a culture that forbade homosexuality a celibate, all male priesthood was bound to look to homosexuals like a good refuge. And then anyone who needed to keep their true self secret could be blackmailed to keep anyone else’s secret.

    1. In the formative years of the Church there were good reasons for celibate priesthood……..I realize you mean the Roman Catholic say so. There was no such requirement in the first centuries and was strictly a Roman thing.

  12. So a turd worlder, a communist, a supporter of mass illegal alien invasion and a rapist enabler? If he turns out to be a Chester his Nobel prize is guaranteed.

  13. It’s not celibacy that causes the problem. It’s the availability of a power position; one from which abusers can exert massive pressure on their victims, along with other vocalized or implied ideas: “I’m a priest, so it must be OK” “You wouldn’t want to say anything that would hurt people in the church” “If you tell your parents, you’ll be punished”.

This is the same kind of situation that allows the even MORE massive problem of abuse in schools. That’s something which really p!sses me off; how every time a Catholic [emphasis here on Catholic; there’s just as much abuse in other denominations, as I know from sad personal experience] priest does something horrific, it’s reported in billions of publications, but the same level of abuse from educational staff or other denominations rates barely a footnote.

    1. “It’s not celibacy that causes the problem.”

Right. Because restricting a position in the church that was meant for married fathers (2 Tim, Titus) and then saying one can’t be married leads to only finding confirmed bachelors.

    2. Yes, celibacy doesn’t cause the problem, it attracts to the priesthood some people who are going to bring the problem. There are heterosexual priests who have failed to keep their vow of celibacy, and no doubt homosexual ones who didn’t fail.

  14. Joey, it’s “size” that matters, and between islam and katholiks, you gots size. And because of it’s “structure”, the RCC has a lot of clout. Throw in the fact that the cover ups are criminal in many countries, you’v got one hell of a big criminal org. One problem is power and money, another problem is willful blindness by the regular constituents. Speak out against a denomination and the regulars (in here) get all butthurt and denounce you. I’v told many believers about the Billy Graham org being a corrupt sh!t hole org, and all you get back is you anti religious hater.

    1. “I’v told many believers about the Billy Graham org being a corrupt sh!t hole org, and all you get back is you anti religious hater.”

Possibly you’re correct about Billy Graham’s organization, I don’t know one way or the other. I wouldn’t be shocked, lets just say. News is there’s un-aired laundry in the Jehova’s Witnesses, the Mormons, etc.

But, you are also an anti-religious hater, and you know it. Stop pretending you’re all neutral and nonpartisan, you’ll probably get along better.

          1. yah pantom, the “SAUCE”, that’s it. As far as making your point??? How you dumb bitch. I have no problem with religion…period. I think religious people have mental issues, and that is why they “believe”. You are aware belief is basically an emotion, and emotions shut down the logical part of the brain, so believers are not realists. I find when you are out of your element, you just bullshiite. As in the truck thing, the legalizing brothels, and a few other topics. You seam to have a need to be heard, even when you don’t know what the f*ck yer talking about.

  15. If you bring your child into a snake-pit and the snake bites him who is at fault: the snake, the child or you?

    1. As a moongod worshiping follower of a pedophile prophet (bees pee upon him) you do not get to claim moral high ground, ever, on anything.

      1. 1.8 billion defenceless, innocent unborn have been murdered. Who is responsible: Muslims or non-Muslims?

Did anyone mention moral high ground?

        1. No you don’t get to redefine the terms of discussion. Your people are the king Midas of $hit. Just because you do not butcher your unborn (one of a handful if things you do right) does not give you a pass on cancer you bring to everything else. As for child rape (and slavery and rape in general) you do not even fit not he same scale.

    2. A wonderful analogy … which begs the question … why didn’t you STAY in your snake-free Islamic pit of a country?

  16. Sexual predators – especially those of children – need to be served hot lead or a length or rope or both. Same for anyone who protects them or anyone who tries to reduce that punishment.

  17. I should have known better. Agendas are the important thing nowadays, not facts.

Clearly, what I know from personal experience is wrong, and those who espouse causes and movements are right.

Shame on me for saying anything…

  18. For me the ridiculous side of this is watching progressives twist in their rationalizations. They love this Pope cuz he’s a global warming convert. But they have all yelled about Christianity as the worst evil on the planet – and pedophilia was their proof.
Now with every kind of sexual philia welcomed or in the process of being welcomed ……puts a whole new spin on animal husbandry…….. how do the progressives rationalize?
Henry had his important contributions to the development of western civilization. The FIRST step of separating church law from civil law was huge. Flipping off the RCC was another. Still too many people who put church law before civil. Power and money have been a vice since the Garden of Eden was emptied.

  19. “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” – Matthew 18:6
