Note the singular “class” and the fact that some universities will award a Master of Science for disciplines such as Women’s and Gender Studies. If it actually had an MS in an actual hard science discipline, it seems likely it would have specified what that was. It also seems likely that if it knew anything about science, it would know that modern farmers have a lot to bring to the discussion.

            Gender is in fact a social construct. There’s no biological reason for wearing makeup to be feminine or wearing trousers to be masculine. Indeed, the gender of both behaviors has changed in the western world in recorded history. Wearing makeup was one a class marker, not a gender marker. Wearing trousers has gone from masculine to neuter within the past 100 years.

            You aren’t going to win a fight against the SJTs unless you understand the linguistic terrain you’re fighting over.

    If you live in NYC it can be up to a $100,000 fine for using the wrong pronouns. Snopes says this is mostly false, but if you read their whole article, they will admit that it is technically true. And technically is how violations are prosecuted.

I have no idea the reasoning behind the second ban as I was also “muted” so could not make that enquiry to the moderators. Those Reddit “mods” remind me of a bunch of grade school kids who are allowed to be the teacher for a day. The whole process is simply bizarre. Ultimately I believe they want to shut down Conservative voices– In Kate’s case, a voice with a lot of influence. This type of thing, and Tommy Robinson’s arrest do not bode well for democracy.   25. For decades I’ve used devices called ‘gender changers’ to adapt cables as needed. This was to fulfill an actual physical state to create a functional meeting of pins and sockets. Saying a male ended cable identifies as female would not get the job done.

That is a completely untenable substantive accusation, made in a clear public way, by censorship and branding in a public forum. Where is there any promotion of violence? Any threatening?     They will probably have some terms of use provision that bars suit over such actions but the courts have in many areas made it so that people cannot sign away grounds for suit. This is in many cases a disaster for our economy and our society. The reason we have no vaccine industry is that way back in the 1960s the courts stopped recognizing necessary releases of liability.

    But in the face of Twitters slander this nanny activism by the courts can be used to good effect. A niche monopoly is abusing its market power in order to censor political speech by claiming it has a contractual right to tell lying SLANDERS about everyone they disagree with? This must not stand.

    1. Sue them in the US in a conservative jurisdiction. Ask for a jury trial. As Alinsky said, hold them to their own rules. The rules are in their contract with you and are clear: You will provide non-hateful tweets providing you with publicity and Twitter with ad revenue. It’s a binding commercial contract and Twitter is in gross breach of it.

      A lefty would sue and put up with the work, the annoyance and the expense. We conservatives have always been hampered by cheapness, laziness and cowardice. Sue. Sue Sue.
