    High Treason, without any grasp of reality, John Kerry not seeing that the road to Perdition has so often been paved with the best of intentions. Becomes a one man paving crew.

    This political psychosis is found frequently among utopians. Often it’s accompanied by megalomania (delusions of grandeur).

    When circumstances forced Gen. Romeo Dallaire to literally be “Shaking Hands with the Devil”. At least, he recognized that he was looking into the abyss and that the abyss was also looking back at him.

  3. Just to add an interesting wrinkle:

    There were many screaming and yelling about collusion a few days ago before the Iran deal cancellation was official US government policy. There is no Logan act issues with that as the US policy at the time was status quo WRT the Iran deal.

    Now that the deal is officially cancelled on the US side there will be issues of Kerry violated the Logan act during this meeting. Just meeting them and making fun of Trump does not qualify.

      Really, just meeting them (Iranian diplomats) and making fun of Trump does (sic) not qualify? While the Iranians are calling for President Trump’s head?
      If Mueller could have shown that during the election campaign, Trump met with 3 Russian diplomats in Paris, he would have filed charges of collusion right there. And most likely would have made it stick, with the help of the Rinos.
      To paraphrase Kate, I guess you think it isn’t treason if the Democrats do it.

  5. The Iran nuke deal is (was) a “legally non-binding political commitment” according to US law. That 0bama/Kerry decided to leave their precious legacy to what is (was) such a phony/meaningless non-treaty speaks volumes about them. They either are a whole lot dumber/narcissistic than originally thought….or they REALLY expected Hillary to win and simply didn’t care.

  10. The problem I have with the Logan act is that it seems to make criminal what is harmless argle bargle. My point is that Kerry has no influence over US diplomacy any longer. He can talk his horse face off all he wants and nothing will change. He could hold even hold a seance and meet with the ghost of King Xerxes the Great and the status of the Iran Deal will be just as dead. The man is a vainglorious twit with the IQ slightly below that of the average potted plant. Who really cares what he does in his spare time or with his wife’s money.

  11. Screw the Logan Act. It’s unconstitutional, and has never been successfully deployed. Nor should it be.

    I’m more interested in the substance of Kerry’s conversations. Personally, I think it’s nothing more than theater in an effort to get a rise out of Trump. Various European countries are going to take a bath (mostly Germany) since they were dumb enough to invest in a country who has difficulty with the truth. Simply put, Iran violated the agreement. It was pretty much a given that they would. Airlines, carmakers, hotel groups and oil companies (from German and the UK) can suck it. If they were stupid enough to trust Iran to honor their agreements, they deserve to take a financial bath. I’d just like to know what Kerry is hoping to accomplish. Maybe he’s representing Boeing (who was also stupid enough to invest.

    1. They might not take a bath. I actually suspect they won’t and that the Euro countries just won’t participate in the renewed sanctions. China is probably interested in offering the Yuan as an alternate payment to the USD. I don’t like it but it is what it is.

  12. If our CIA, FBI, and NSA were doing their job … they would have a complete audio file on the meeting … and if John F. Kerry was saying or doing anything to undermine the sitting president’s cancellation of the (unsigned) Iranian “Agreement” … then a Grand Jury should be assembled and John F. Kerry should be indicted for treason against the USA. I believe that JFK should not be allowed to fly or leave the USA. He is definitely a flight risk … and he is an intelligence leaker risk

  15. Rush has been talking about this last Thur and Fri. Seems Kerry and obama are taking this very personally, the question is why? Still why did the 150 billion payment included 1.5 billion in actual physical cash notes? Why the need for all this cash money, where did that untraceable money go? Still a question not answered fully by obama, where did the cash notes come from? Kerry, meeting like this looks very dispirit. They’re out of office, what’s it to them,,,unless it is personal? Now knowing how obama weaponized the FBI, NSA and CIA, would anybody be surprised if there was a couple billion dollar kickback outta the 150 billion dollar payment? That would just be a small slice for the Iranians, to get the deal THEY want.
    BTW, Europe stands by the deal, because cheap Iran oil in the European market, meaning lower oil prices for them, that’s why they want to continue the Iran deal.

  17. Well, let’s see: Iranian Parliament burns an American flag and chants “Death to Trump…Death to America” after we pull out of their one-sided deal. A massive protest erupts across Iran with lovely media statements like:

    “With God’s help, we will stand up and resist until the full destruction of the enemies of Islam…, especially the world-gobbling America,”

    Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari threatens to release of the names of all parties in the West who received bribes to assure that the deal went through. Days after the deal was pulled, the lead U.N. nuclear inspector quits abruptly without an explanation. Yeah, I’d say the Israeli group hired to find the dirt did just that…and this is going to get a bit dicey.
