    And Rubin’s characteriziation of Kennedy’s beliefs as “roughly sane” but outside the Overton window is highly charitable. Kennedy has said many things about vaccines that do not stand even cursory scrutiny.

    1. If RFK Jr. can be so easily debunked, why doesn’t Hotez simply humiliate him on Rogan’s show with an enormous audience looking on?

      Seems like a great public service opportunity!

      I think Rogan can be trusted to keep the discussion on the rails and to give equal opportunity for both sides to make a case – without a time limit and and opportunity for anotehr round.

        At a minimum, Hotez should seek a neutral forum, where the rules of the debate are clearly spelt out and enforced.

            Had Rogan approached him privately about a debate instead of broadcasting it in order to embarrass Hotez into it, perhaps Hotez might have agreed — provided that there was someway to prevent the debate being turned into a fiasco.

            But even then I’m skeptical. Hotez doesn’t want Kennedy to get any more attention, and a debate would not serve that.

      1. So ignore their credentials and argue the evidence. And Kennedy has been a proponent that vaccines can cause autism, something that he has never retracted and seems to believe even to this day. He even wrote an article on this in 2005 that appeared in two major magazines.

        The trouble is that there is no credible evidence for that belief. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero. It is completely unsupported.

        Does that inspire confidence?

        1. Like Muggeridge pointed out, people who fancy themselves scientific and modern are highly credulous.

          Epidemiology is largely correlative. And it rarely can be done better than that due to the complex nature of human disease. Correlation leaves a lot to speculation and it’s totally disingenuous to label speculations you like as credible evidence and speculations you don’t like as not.

          When someone starts saying there is no evidence for any given position they’re announcing to the world they don’t understand how evidence works, and not much more than that.

          Kennedy presented plausible correlations between autism and vaccines. That’s evidence. There are many other plausible correlations that serve as counter-evidince. But until you have an exact, reproducible, and preferably curable mechanism of action no one has a scientific-method level proof either way.

          And the ordinary working of medicine falls way, way below the bar of scientific level proofs. It’s not ideal but that’s reality. Guestimation is normal, proof exceedingly rare, and anyone telling you otherwise is exceedingly dumb or dishonest in some combination.

          So what do you mean by ‘credible’ outside of ‘credentialed’?

          In what we don’t know and rely on others for we must estimate their integrity and skill. In our era ‘prestigus’ has a negative correlate to skill so far as I’ve seen. Integrity? Same only worse. Trusting Hotez sounds like madness, or naievety beyond reason.

          Kennedy may be no better. But it would be hard to estimate him as worse. At least Kennedy is entertaining, and obviously an annoyance to a known evil status quo.

            And what is “plausible correlation”? A situation where a correlation is plausible? What’s that supposed to prove?

            There have been over a dozen studies on the link between MMR vaccines and autism. The only one that found a correlation was the original 1998 paper by Wakefield et al., which has since been retracted and discredited.

        2. Maybe you should expand your reading a little. Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA technology, has been demanding all along to stop the Covid vaxxes. They have never been proven safe or effective and should never have been released and foisted on an ignorant population, who were told that these chemicals were “safe and effective.” And there were NO warnings given about ANY possible side effects, the exact opposite of EVERY other drug on the market. Is that supposed to be just fine?

          Or read Dr. Ryan Cole’s articles. He’s a doctor who also has a pathology lab, and has reported a huge surge in aggressive cancers (like 20X more) since the vaxxes were rolled out. He sees that in the biopsy samples sent to the lab. Sure, you will no doubt say that correlation is not causation, but there are way too many other correlations, and dismissing them is due to religious blindness among liberals. They will not believe, or admit, no matter what. Meanwhile, a lot of people will continue to die until some serious research is done.

            And whatever the questions about the safety of COVID mRNA vaccines earlier in the pandemic, they have now mostly been put to rest. Today COVID vaccines are possibly the most studied ever. Thousands of papers have now been published on them worldwide.

            And the vast preponderance of the scientific evidence is that they are effective (although not as effective as we would like them to be) and safe in that the benefits strongly outweighed adverse reactions.

          The radiofrequency electromagnetic spectrum runs from Very Low Frequency (VLF), below 100 kHz, to far above microwave (which is 900+ mHz). Far above that is the light spectrum, and light is electromagnetic radiation that humans can see.

          Microwave ovens use that 900 mHz radiation to cook stuff. So what do those high frequencies do to your brain, even at very low powers? Some researchers are suspecting some brain cancer is due to extensive cellphone use.

  6. First: I have NEVER been a NEVER vaxxer. I’m fully vaccinated (only partially with the COVID cocktail) My children were all fully vaccinated against childhood diseases. Yes, there are some vaccine injuries … but the risk/reward ratio is off the charts in favor of vaccination. I believe it is absurd and totally unproven that Jenny McCarthy’s son became autistic after vaccination against childhood diseases. There’s no medical science to support that.

    However: If what RFK Jr. says is true … that Emergency Use Authorization CANNOT be approved if there is an alternative medication that is effective in treating the target disease … hence … the full-court, all hands on deck, attacks on Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin by the Deep State medical bureaucracy … then that’s ALL I need to know about our dishonest government PUSHING Big Pharma’s non-solution, experimental, vaccine. Our government is ROTTEN to the core. Politicians do the bidding of the Deep State ILLEGAL 4th Branch of government when it should be the reverse relationship. Dr. Fauci was effectively making ALL the decisions as if he were President and Congress.

    And yes, I blame President Trump for the warp speed bullshit. But I also recognize he was in a no-win political trap.     1. There are have now been many scientific studies on Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin for treating COVID.

      The results are somewhat mixed, but the better-done studies (controlled, double-blind, randomized, large-scale) can not find a benefit to H&I for COVID. Even if they do eventually find a clear benefit, the effect is obviously not strong enough to replace vaccines:

            The Ivermectin debate has been marked by many low-quality studies lacking things like controls, double-blindness, proper randomization, and adequately large participant size. There have also been some retractions. The studies that do have the above properties tended to find that Ivermectin is of little use for COVID.

            Here’s a meta-analysis which only included studies with proper randomized controls. To quote:

            There’s also this one from 2021 which in it’s first sentence from the Discussion section “The findings indicate with moderate certainty that ivermectin treatment in COVID-19 provides a significant survival benefit”. Compared to the efficacy failure of the clot shot this should have been enough to allow people full access to off label use. KM you can jab yourself into infinity with MRNA tech for all I care but for you to lazily argue against a drug that has huge amounts of evidence supporting positive response to Covid is beyond nuts.           4. The American Journal of Thereupetics is the midst of a war over Ivermectin / COVID, as about half the papers on the topic find benefit to Ivermectin and the other half do not.

            The paper you cited has been slapped with an Expression of Concern by the journal editors, as there are allegations of sloppy data collection and reporting. This means that it is undergoing review to see if it needs retraction or correction.

            This is what I mean when I say that the benefits of Ivermectin are iffy. Even if researchers ultimately find it is of benefit, it can’t be a particulary strong effect — otherwise the papers would not be so divided on the topic.

Ya know, as a Vet of the Cdn Forces, not only was I inoculated for all the childhood diseases (late ‘50’s), but upon the 2nd day in Basic Training received what seemed to me near 40 shots in the space of 20 min. One of them being a sliver dollar sized mechanical unit that hit me with what seemed some 35 needles all at once.

    Have had tetanus shots, At least 4 that I can recall both Hep shots….. and yet, come 2021, things did not pass the smell test whatsoever…. All the tyrannical shit that was going on seemed all to familiar given my fathers experiences 1936 – 1945.

    Nothing to date has swayed my opinion.

Fauci, Gates et al have come out today and admitted they didn’t work out as intended, that’s just on efficacy, not on adverse events. Here’s the thing, they all knew the weren’t working and had very high adverse events early in 2021. And they did nothing. Well, except forcing them on everyone. You can shove all your freaking studies up your freaking ass. I want trials.
