Scott Adams, “Anti-Vaxxers Were Totally Right”

There are highly edited versions of this floating around the internet this morning. Including an edited version put out by Adams himself. But its well worth watching the whole thing to really get the context and what Adams is thinking.

I don’t completely agree with Adams that his process was largely correct but he got the wrong answer. A lot of people were comparing the wrong things when they decided to get the shots. That was a big part of the propaganda campaign. But kudos to Adams for going public with this. Far more people need to follow his example.

  1. No winners here Scott, everyone lost except big Pharma, Tech, Retail and the politicians.
And knock it off with the anti-vax pejorative.

    1. Exactly! I also reject the pejorative “anti-vaxxer.”

But I would also point out that the battle isn’t over. I am still holding out hope that these bastards (big tech, pharma, corp, and politicians) will one day face accountability for what they have done to us.

For Adams to declare that “we won,” is a bit premature. Almost like GWB’s “Mission Accomplished” banner. The battle is far FAR from over.

      1. Agreed – 99% of so called “anti-vaxxers” are already FULLY vaccinated against historical well known viruses without issue.

There is a huge difference between experimental and scientifically tested and verified vaccines.

Those that took the mRNA experimental vaccine without question were NOT following the science. They were following the orders of proven liars in government that manipulated them as they do on a daily basis.

  2. No, I don’t have to be right for you to be wrong.. Leave me alone was not a position that had anything to do with you.. Now you want to pull me in as correct all along?.. My feelings on being correct are ashes in my mouth.. At no point was I rooting for our government and medical institutions to fail so completely.. I wanted to be wrong so I could come around.. That day never came..

Who says I have nothing to worry about?.. Friends, family, coworkers are all woven into my life.. The guilt of being a survivor is never eased by being correct.. All my dead friends were wrong?.. Well, I will be sure to add that to the EULOGY and high five my way out of the Church..

    Leave me alone..

    1. Brilliant, John. Right on, brother, right on.

And that’s from someone who is double jabbed, but never boosted. And never gonna be.

    2. Clot shot + cancer=death. Funeral planning for my mom this week. Surprise she lasted a whole year after booster. Was on immunotherapy for lung cancer prior to jabs and of course given that jabs weaken the immune system that was not working after the jab. Surprise. surprise. The good news is that she was 72 when the clot shots came out, otherwise would have died younger.

  3. Sorry, ahole, you don’t get to promote something that has harmed so may, and then say “oopsie, my bad” when the body count starts to become apparent.
He’s just an overpaid court jester with a mouth several sizes too big, and an ego that eclipses even that.

      1. I don’t care what he or anyone else has to say about “covid” vaxxes. I was right at the start and I am still right, as are those who produced the science information that lead me to my conclusions.

  4. No Scott, we didn’t have ultra solid triple peer-reviewed evidence that the vaccines had flaws.

But suspecting that governments and industry are colluding to obscure the truth when there is billions of dollars on the line is always a safe bet.

    1. If your first assumption out of the box is that the government is lying to you, you will never go far wrong.

      1. Yes, better off being wrong to not trust the government than being wrong to trust the government.

      2. Exactly. Long before the actual facts started leaking past the official narrative, my personal maxim of, “The first rule of trusting the gov’t is to never trust the gov’t” was in play.

        Everything else was merely confirmation.

    2. “No Scott, we didn’t have ultra solid triple peer-reviewed evidence that the vaccines had flaws.”
      I disagree.
Gov’ts all over the world started using coercive measures right outta the gate.
That right there is ultra-solid peer reviewed evidence with a pile of peers going back hundreds of years.

    3. “But suspecting that governments and industry are colluding to obscure the truth when there is billions of dollars on the line is always a safe bet.”

      This.

      Follow the money, always.

    4. Except we sorta did. IF you read the developmental history in the peer reviewed research papers and patents, as I and others did. However you had to be willing to do that due diligence. Not everyone had the time or the skill set to drink from a fire hose to learn a new field of knowledge. However, even if you didn’t do that level of probing, I thought there were a number of obvious short hand avenues to the right side of the risk equation especially after the Diamond Princess (for one, don’t be first with a novel scientific experiment). Anyhow, someone that got it wrong can’t know, by definition, how some of us got it right. Seems to me he ought to ask and then listen.

  5. Scott’s brand of humility equals that of b hussein obama.
The amount of assumptions and convoluted reasoning in his white board explanation negated his line of reasoning and demonstrates a desire to have it both ways.
The so called smart people bought into a fraud.
Deal with it Scott and enjoy your wealth.

  6. Nah. Sorry, not ready to make nice. Adams stuck his finger in the air and knows full well where this is going and desperately wants to stay relevant.
You effed up Adams. Playing the neutral card would’ve been the safe play but nope, not you. You were so effing sure of yourself you branded us as aholes.
Deal with it. Maybe in the next life.

  7. The old Hippocratic oath was “First do no wrong”, the new Hyprocritic oath is “First obey Big Pharm”. Being right feels sweetly sour as you look at all the harm done to your friends and family. In lots of cases your ex-friends as they burned that bridge in 21/22 and its hard to come back from that. It was all a big intelligence test, kind of like a Global SAT, and lots of people failed, not because they were stupid but because they were gullible and got all their information from the Trusted News Initiative which was pushed by the BBC. My circle of acquaintances is much different now, family still talk but we avoid certain subjects, life has changed. I used to think Canada was a safe place, now I am looking for a “bolt hole” in some other country in case things go pear shaped again. Saw a slogan out there that it was better to be two years too early than one day too late.

    1. “family still talk but we avoid certain subjects…”

I’ve been doing that for YEARS with my family. I finally had enough with the self-censorship to avoid “making a fuss” and “avoiding arguments,” so for my sake (and my sanity), I cut them off completely.

Maybe that wasn’t the right thing to do, but I think their position is weakening because of my strong conviction. We’ll see. As I said earlier, the battle is not over. We will never “win” (note the scare quotes) until we reach the tipping point resulting from more people waking up.

  8. Adams seemed a little intoxicated to me. I watched about ten minutes of it, and he later said how come a lot of very smart people also took the vax, and said he bet the exec branch of Phizer (sp) also took the vax to cover their backsides, but I would bet they only took saline. He also mentioned “long covid” as a problem as was the vax itself. My thoughts are that they are one and the same, all caused by the goo not the covid. As a further note, I saw an interview a good year back now, with a reporter, and the WHO Tedros CEO with the unpronouncable surname, admitting he had NOT taken the vax! His excuse was that there were so many in need of it that he felt it was improper for him to take it earlier…..Yeah Right!

It’s all BS, they are all in on it, WHO, WEF, UN, Bankers, the elite scum are all in the club and we ain’t!

    1. “It’s all BS, they are all in on it, WHO, WEF, UN, Bankers, the elite scum are all in the club and we ain’t!”

Blackrock, JP Morgan, and Vanggard, 21 trillion in assets, greater financial clout than any nation on earth!

    1. Haven’t noticed anything either. I stopped looking at his cartoons when I saw those ones too.
It’s going to take a long time for many people to admit that the “vaccine” was not a good idea. The lockdowns and everything else may have had some good in the ideas, but the implementation was so damaging. Something like the idiotic standards used by the TSA.
The whole thing should have been handled by letting people assess their own risk and take measures by their own choice.

  9. “At the moment, the anti-vaxxers appear to be the ones who were the most right and who were the biggest winners.” — Scott Adams

  10. Go back to the beginning of his video. He admits that he thinks the CIA is actually running the US since 1960. He agreed with Tucker’s contention the CIA killed JFK, and later the CIA took out Nixon.

He said House Minority Leader (Republican Leader) Gerald Ford was a CIA asset that replaced Spiro Agnew. And reminded us that Reagan was almost assassinated, and his VP was George Bush, former CIA Director. He then intimated that Clinton and Obama were both CIA owned too.

  11. Stan Kerr Fringe Minority @spjk · 12h Replying to @stillgray and @ScottAdamsSays
Persuasion wins, but it’s not always rational. The anti-vaxxers didn’t have a ‘rational’ case, by Adams’s lights, but they did dissuade many from what was eventually considered an unreasonable risk. Sometimes the crowd is right.

    Eric B. @NeverDraftRBs · 12h Replying to @spjk
Adams current mistake is not acknowledging the anti-vaxxers had a rational take. 1) New technology; 2) No LT testing; 3) COVID had 99%+ survival rate, higher if you aren’t obese or with other co-morbidities; 4) Never made sense to release on large scale

Stan Kerr Fringe Minority @spjk · 11h Replying to @NeverDraftRBs
Agreed. Adams was unreasonably skeptical of treatments and kept dissing the studies purporting to show their benefits. In an emergency, all safe treatment methods must be tried. It’s the novel stuff that should bear hard skepticism.

  12. Personally I think the JFK assassination was an intelligence op. It was run by the Cuban Intelligence folks, after they found out JFK’s CIA were trying to kill Fidel Castro. The Cubans picked a former defector to Russia who was a Communist Cuba Sympathizer for their weapon.

Why would Washington DC cover up those facts? Because after JFK was assassinated by Cubans? Would anyone in the US not be demanding revenge? Even the most pacifist Democrat would be wanting to take Fidel Castro out, and every Anti-Communist Republican would definitely want Communist Cuba conquered and Fidel and company killed. We attack Cuba, and what does Russia do? Khruschev and Russia has to declare war on the US. NATO declares war on Russia (does not matter, since the US will be attacking from Europe anyway). Remember the US had hundreds of Minuteman, Titan, and Polaris missiles armed with H-bombs. Worse, LeMay and SAC had thousands of bombers, and every B-52 had 20-30 MEGATONS of bombs on board, and mission plans to attack Russia, China and the Warsaw Pact. Russia had similar weapons. How many people would be alive in the Northern Hemisphere after that war? 50 million? Less?

I know I would be dead. We lived in Des Moines IA, the state capital and a definite Russian target. Boom!

Washington DC did the right thing by not exposing the Communist Cuban connection. It saved civilization on Earth.

    1. Last week Tucker covered the details about Nixon and the FBI-CIA.
Nixon was shamed for recording every conversation. Turns out it was the right move.
      Facts and more facts.

  13. The problem with fence sitting, eventually you have to jump off, to one side or the other, can’t loiter forever..

Also hate the perjorative “Anti-Vaxxer”… I’m not anti-vax, I’m pro choice! If you want to pump yourself full of whatever you choose, go ahead! You can even have mine! “Your freedom to swing your arms wildly, ends at my nose.” comes to mind..
    Also: “The difference between
us? You took the shot & wished I would die. I watched you take the shot & prayed you wouldn’t” Now, don’t make me regret that!

    1. “Also hate the perjorative “Anti-Vaxxer”… I’m not anti-vax, I’m pro choice!”

Same here. The vast majority of people have never met a real “anti-vaxxer”. The mRNA jab was never a real vaccine.

  14. Now Adams needs to re-evaluate his views on Climate Change. The idiot had the temerity to call out Tony Heller. No substance, no argument, just an indulgent dressing down.

  15. No nuance on the part of Scott Adams, in fact his assertion is pretty superficial.
I think I come from a long line of “look before you leap” people. I fully expected to take the vax at some point but kept procrastinating. As Dr Weinstein has pointed out you don’t have to be a credentialed scientist to detect that what you are being told doesn’t add up, that it’s being hyped and oversold, that they were making assertions before there was any data. In addition there was no risk stratification, there was flouting of previous established norms for pregnancy, shoddy data collection, changing of definitions and medical coding…….. As the vax pushers became sleazier, more coercive, and unjustifiably malevolent toward dissenters, I was increasingly put off.
Even though, early on, I was aware of the suspicious correlations, I still wasn’t convinced that the PTB were that incompetent, unprofessional, and unethical. It was Ed Dowd’s stats coupled with the Israeli data showing a lack of Heart damage associated with just the COVID infection that moved the needle all the way over for me.

    1. Since we were deluged with non scientific mandates from the start I was never considering the jab. Had absolutely no confidence in government .
It was an easy choice, since I had already butted heads with my employers about the ineffective flu jab over the past decade.
I still have the letter in my possession stating I was coerced to get the jab in 2007 in order to keep my employment.
There were so many brilliant people speaking out in the beginning that made so much sense but were silenced. Dr Kulvinder Kaur and Dr Phillips to name a few. They were an inspiration, and voices for the skeptics.
Scott Adams used to be entertaining, but is boring. Takes 30 minutes to say what could be said in 5.
      Kudos to him public admission.
Now he needs to retract the ‘anti-vax’ label.

    2. It was Nancy’s jumping up and down and shrieking when Donald said ivermectin that moved the needle all the way over for me. A dose of ivermectin costs Pennys to make and the pattent is off. Anyone know for sure what fister is gouging (has gouged) for a clot shot?

  16. Nobody won anything here.
While I see where Scott is coming from,he misses the point.
    A line was crossed..
    Mandated poison..
I do not care about those who willingly took the government goo.
You makes your choices, you takes your chances.
But the Power hunger and Authoritarian Stupidity..
No return to normal knowing what your neighbours really are.
    Scott is wrong.
The real world cases of the Cruise Ship and The Navy Vessel told me something vital.
    The “Experts” were lying.
    And sure enough,3 years later..
    The “experts were lying.

  17. It’s not about winners and losers. It’s about the government continually eroding our rights. Whether it’s a good vaccine or not isn’t the issue. Analytics and heuristics.. it’s all bullshit. All the analytics in the world can’t overcome an overreaching government. I wouldn’t take a good vaccine if the government said that I MUST take it. Sorta like some freedom fighters a couple of hundred years ago or so.

    1. Thanks for confirming my suspicions John. I stoped letting him waste my time, AGAIN, about half way in.

  18. As Edward Dowd says: Everything you want to learn about the business world you can learn by watching the Godfather movies.

  19. Scott Adams missed the point entirely. He should watch Dr. John Campbell for hints. It doesn’t have anything to do with our personal health choices. It has EVERYTHING to do with Gov’t Overreach to coerce, bully and threaten away personal health choice. He even mentioned a couple of times that he HELD OFF “as long as possible” on getting the jab but didn’t really explain why he wasn’t vying for first in line honors. Adams’ admission of choosing “wrong” is nonsense because it assumes that there was anything like free choice open to others that either felt there was too much to lose not to take the shot or were harmed with obscenely harsh consequences like job/career loss, ostracization from family/friends, forced exclusion from services and inability to travel. Not one second did Adams’ spend on any of the steep price paid by most of the unjabbed to remain that way – just that the unjabbed had “won” somehow for outlasting the 24/7 jab push. I used to respect him a lot more than I do now. To me now he’s just a whiny ignorant prima donna.

    1. Martin B, “Not one second did Adams’ spend on any of the steep price paid by most of the unjabbed to remain that way”

      This!

  20. I’lll give Scott credit for publicly coming out.
That said, his “we, the smart people” were analytical but it was just bad data and you, the “Dumb Davos” got it right on your ‘feelz’ just doesn’t fly with me.

For me, my basis for skepticism / no fn way decision was based upon the massive worldwide coordination, collusion, suppression, and coercion.

    My “predictions were/are:
    2022 – Discovery
    2023 – Awakening
    2024 – Reckoning
    We’ll see.

Right now, I’m fairly pissed. I don’t imagine my social acrimony/mode will improve much in the coming years.

  21. Smart people got snookered into taking the vax because they thought they were smart because the sales brochure appealed to their intelligence quotient and thus short circuited their wisdom quotient. The sales brochures were full of ‘studies’ that were done by the manufacturer in a time span that no study could be done properly. You can not know if a drug is safe or not until years of testing is complete. There simply is no way to speed up the testing and no computer models are not reliable testing methods. Nothing but time will reveal the long term effects of any given drug. The wise know that. The smart may not know that. However the greatest folly is those who get their information from the media and not the world around them. After all these years of covid I still don’t know anyone who died from it. When the panic was on and the media was frothing at the mouth about all these dead people – I never knew of one death personally. Any other disease I knew people affected. I didn’t know anyone who died from covid. Huge army hospitals were set up and huge navy ships were brought in and they remained empty. Hmmmmm… Then they brought out the vax. Within a few days of its roll out my brother in law died after getting the vax. Healthy man with massive blood clots in his lungs. OK well no vax for me then. Sadly the death by vax count didn’t stop at one. A young man died from a heart attack walking across the street. The neighbor died in his sleep the night after his booster. My cousin died from turbo cancer that simply defied treatment. Then there were the vax injured and near deaths that I knew of. Scott was either not being honest with his audience when he continued to push the vax or his sense of mental superiority did him in. Either way I do hope he will not suffer any long term effects from the vax. Unlike the pro vaxers I don’t want anyone to die from the course of action they took.

  22. I’m not saying this is Adams, but it is the bog standard tactic of the cathedral:

Cheer for the state while it does whatever horrific shit it’s doing, then once everyone has made their money and it all goes wrong, then you can start with the expositions and thinkpieces about how it was all so terrible.

Then they all get to pretend that they’ve always been on the right side of history (look at the stuff we wrote about the billions Halliburton extracted from the Iraqi occupation!) and this fake version of ‘holding power to account’ makes everyone believe them when they simp for power the next time.
