  1. Not true, Kate. They got rid of all of the Moslem scientific Nobel Prize winners.

    1. For all of dads and moms that love to stay home to take care of their loved ones,
or rest of people on the search for an opportunity olr to pull in some extra income for their family month after month let me share a remarkable opportunity to explore. HERE →→→→→→ https://t.ly/FuSv

  2. So, when does the astronomical community begin scrubbing the various lunar features of all Russian names? Tsiolkovskiy Crater shall be no more, not to mention that he’s often credited as being the father of modern rocketry.

Mathematicians will have to follow suit. No more references to Pafnuty Chebyshev, his contributions to number theory, as well as the polynomials named in his honour.

Electronics will have to abolish Chebyshev filters and chemists will have to forego use of the periodic table of elements. After all, Dmitry Mendeleev was one of those (whispering) Russians.

Musicians have already demonstrated their purity, such as the sacking of Anna Netrebko by the Metropolitan Opera. Will the Met stop performing, say, Boris Gudunov or Eugene Onegin?

    1. Fuck Piskounov. Engineering math textboook. Don’t remember anything about math, but that textbook’s author caused a lot of suffering .

      1. Unfortunately, many math textbooks are written for–wait for it!–mathematicians. I, too, suffered through my share of math courses, which were taught by profs out of that department using those same, often incomprehensible, books.

Similarly, I’ve read my share of papers written by Soviet and, later, Russian researchers. They were often unclear and difficult to follow, though I’m sure much of that was due to them being translated into English.

        1. I ran a Russian translation program (mostly math) for a few years towards the end of the USSR.

Most of what we published was not translated; rather, it was written in English by Russians who (for obvious reasons) had never traveled to English-speaking countries or, often, even spoken to native speakers.

I had a discussion once about “xhouse” (imagine a guttural sound at the start). They meant “chaos.”

And they used “как известно” a lot, which means, “The proof is long and boring and you can work it out yourself” – or, literally, “as is known.”

          1. “The proof is long and boring and you can work it out yourself”

Or, as I’ve often seen in British textbooks, “The proof is left to the student.”

    2. Be careful. They’re scheduled to do it for a Saturday matinee in a few weeks. I like Onegin and don’t want to see it cancelled–but is it the one Netrebko was supposed to do?

      1. I’d have to check on that. I’m still getting used to the Met Saturday broadcasts being live once again.

Oh, and the original French version of Verdi’s Don Carlo will be presented this coming Saturday. It’s a long opera, starting an hour earlier than usual.

  3. I remember how the Russians demonstrated to the world how you fight wars against Islamists and Nazis if you.mean business about winning.

Blast away with everything you’ve got till the hajjis die or scatter.

Hajji will accuse you of killing the children he uses as human shields. Ignore him. Better his bastards than your children.

The Ukrainian Nazis are accusing the Russians of killing children too. Putin is ignoring them, as he should.

There’s a reason Chechens and Syrians are volunteering in such numbers to fight with the Russians in Ukraine. Russia saved Chechnya and Syria from Islamic rule, with the local Islamists now dead or in exile. Chechens and Syrians understand who their real friends are, and it’s not the globalists.

I never thought I’d be praying for the victory of Muslim warriors against the most notorious self-hating Jew on earth, but here we are.

(Naftali Bennett begged Zelensky to accept a peace deal on terms Russia could possibly accept, because bthe Jewish people have far too much to lose from a world war. Zelensky told him to drop dead.)

  4. I didnt realise the Russian Orthodox Church was being erased. Bit of a long bow false equivalence at a couple of levels isnt it?

    1. Religion and politics have often mixed. I don’t see the Russian Orthodox Church being erased. Maybe the opposite.
Just for fun do a search on “Manifest Destiny”.
“Manifest Destiny, a phrase coined in 1845, is the idea that the United States is destined—by God, its advocates believed—to expand its dominion and spread democracy and capitalism across the entire North American continent.Nov 15, 2019”

  5. Read over at the comments at Instapundit in response to the assertion that we keep anything from the Soviet Union, but ban anything Russian:

So which country is now the speech censoring, dissident jailing (J6) totalitarian regime (do as we say—get jabbed—or we will economically destroy you) and which one is promoting traditional and Christian values? My, how the roles have reversed in such a short time.

  6. Not a big fan of globalism but Putin is worse and he is not authorized by more than a few lunatics and kooks to invade random countries to fight globalism and kill thousands of people.

Getting rid of globalism is our own challenge and not up to Putin or Russia.

If some think a nuclear war is better than having rainbow crosswalks and transgendered athletes, then give your head a shake.

    1. Invade “random” countries? That statement requires a boatload of “pretending not to know stuff”. Get back to me when you wish to think like a grownup.

And it shouldn’t take Nukes to STOP shoving 2sLGBTQq+/- nonsense down our Kindergartners gullets … just some sensible politicians in FL … doing the peoples TRUE will.

    2. @Eleventh of Never – “If some think a nuclear war is better than having rainbow crosswalks and transgendered athletes,”

Don’t ever think that more of the world agrees that rainbow crosswalks are better than nuclear war. That is the first problem with you people.

  7. Keep hammering at Russia. People might want to pick up an English to Russian dictionary.

    1. Done and done.

By the way, the word for parsnip is “pasternak”, rather like the author of “Doctor Zhivago” whose work was partially distributed by the Vatican.

      The more you know.

  8. Wow, even 9/11 goes under the whatabout bus.

In honour of the memory of online conservatives being the ones who did want Islam named and shamed:

    Russia is peace.

  9. It’s part of the liberal totalitarian culture of today, if one can use two opposite words to describe one thing. There must be a word to describe such constructions, like dark white, flat curve? Liberal totalitarianism, or progressivism for short.

  10. To be anti-Russian right now is to virtue signal that you are anti-Trump, anti-Trump voter, and anti-white. Ironic given how the Dems were Soviet apologists throughout the entire Cold War and bitterly complained against any counter-Soviet policies we undertook.

    1. PBZAR

      THIS ..

“…To be anti-Russian right now is to virtue signal that you are anti-Trump, anti-Trump voter, and anti-white…”

      Cancel Culture on Anphetamines….

  11. I’m sitting here wondering when our idiot prime minister will start building internment camps. Knowing his predilection for that sort of thing.

  12. Now that Easter is coming up and restrictions are being lifted, will Islamists make up for lost time by blowing up lots of churches?

I know it’s not bear spray but still.

    1. Well … if Putin celebrates Easter … then it’s only the “rational” … “scientific” and “enlightened” thing to do. Christianity MUST be WIPED OUT to further the globalist agenda. Can’t let people walk around worshiping a myth … Right? And if Putin is aligned with your belief system … well… you MUST BE CANCELED.

  13. Sad.
    Pathetically sad.
Another institution skinned and worn as a cloak.
So what is Alaska going to be remained as?
