Update, from Kate: Jack Posobiec has tweeted that the Christian fundraising site GiveSendGo.com has agreed to start hosting donations for Freedom Convoy. I hit “Bad Gateway”  server issues when connecting there, and that’s to be expected if they’ve been inundated with requests — or DOS attacks — so be patient.

Here’s the link to get a refund if you donated through the GFM pirates. I thought from the outset that it was a terrible choice.

Francisco- You might need to be patient but it looks like there’s ways of getting your money back and sending it to the new fundraising site.

    1. Make no mistake. This is the left trying to start a false flag. They have pissed off millions of people using GoFundMe, trying to get someone to overreact.

      1. EVERYONE take note: there are multiple freedom, freedom convoy, convoy etc now set up on give send go.

        DO NOT give until this has sorted out or you are 100% absolutely sure that you’ve got the right one. Givesendgo is not used to such activity and it will take them a while to sort out the real convoy from all the inevitable scammers.

        I plan to donate tomorrow when givesendgo should have this sorted out. In the meantime, call everyone you can, let them know and ask them to donate – when the site is able to securely handle it.

      I’d say direct e-mail transfers, but even then, the bank itself may just decide to keep the money. Crypto is probably the only safe bet. Etherium or Monero, IMHO.

  5. I requested my $100 donation back; will now donate $500 to a credible organization assisting truckers directly. GoFundMe will not defeat us…

      1. One alternative is to donate to people like Viva Frei, or other Youtubers that you trust. Their YouTube page might include a PayPal link, where you can send cash. PayPal charges about 2-3% on top of what is sent. Still better than GFM.

        I know some convoyers have YT links, and hopefully they added PayPal to it.

        For anyone who has never used PayPal, its actually really easy. But email transfers are prob best.

        Plus, with decentralized transactions, it is much harder for Big Brother Trudeau to trace.

        1. That’s one option, I had paypal for years and yes it is very easy. They are anti gun so I tend to use them only when there are no better options. Re Youtubers, that is separate. I want to give to he convoy just so they can show in a couple of days that they made up what GFM denied and then some.

    1. Yes. I wanted to help the convoy, and so gritted my teeth and used GFM. Now have asked for a refund from the doublecrossing cheats. Definite fraudsters and typical leftist liars.
      I intend to send more to the convoy and Givesendgo is going to feel like the snake that swallowed an elephant. Hats off to ’em.

It may be that their servers are overloaded with the demand, but in the meantime, how do we get the word out to the masses to request their GFM refund and give it to GiveSendGo? I’m no longer on social media so have no platform from which to broadcast.

  20. What is the “charge back” tim pool is talking about? If every refund costs go fund me $10 that’s a good route to go. I only donated 50 bucks through gfm and 100 to the lawyer through ezra.

    2. A chargeback is when you call your credit card company and make a claim against them for fraud or other shady practices…

      chargebacks also give strikes against the vendor, and if they get enough then the processing companies start charging more fees to them

      eventually, if they get enough, the processing company may drop them…

    Not a lawyer, but once the above steps are completed I would think they could receive donations on their own website.

I seem to remember a credit-card company unpersoning a guy who didn’t like Jihadists, and banks refusing mortgages to certain people, other banks just outright closing people’s account, and so forth, so, what’s to stop a bank from saying “we don’t fund terror” and keeping all the money? The “Law?” LOL.
    I think crypto is the only viable alternative if you want a centralized fund, which is good for the optics, otherwise, each trucker or small group of truckers should have a separate bank account in which to receive e-mail transfers, which is probably more secure, and one can always inflate the totals, for even better optics.

As a result, a refund has been requested from “GFM” for the initial amount with my fervent wish that it ultimately costs your corrupt organization much more than that.

      Furthermore, I will personally make any and all efforts to;

      1. Contribute ten times that amount to the aforementioned cause via a reputable organization
      2. Never personally contribute to, nor encourage anyone to, use your “service” regardless of the validity of the cause

      In closing, per my usage of three letter acronyms above “GFY”.

    They may have just realized that the Social Crediters are back, and this time they mean business about relieving global finance of its power over human beings.

    The truckers themselves have found plenty of other means of support that no banker can take away.

    One of the tactics being proposed to drive the truckers out is to rat on them to whoever insured the truck, on the grounds that using the truck in a political protest may void the policy.

    Bugger the insurers. If they are serious about staying in business in a free Canada, they’ll make the truckers whole for any damage caused by diversity-hire cops and antifa, and like it.

For those who don’t remember last autumn, GFM cancelled the fundraiser for Kyle Rittenhouse, who was acquitted for acting in self-defence during BLM/Antifa riots and arson, while continuing to allow a fundraising page for Darryl Brooks, the Christmas Parade Massacre driver, who murdered 6 people and injured dozens. Never use them again; they’re merely another high-tech gatekeeper for the left-wing elite. They gleefully host fundraisers for actual murderers and terrorists while stealing money destined for people who are exercising their Charter rights and have committed no crimes.

    I’m honestly kind of surprised that Twitter, FB, and YouTube haven’t already censored every post with the word ‘truck’ or ‘freedom’ in it. This sort of fascism – literally, the incestuous inseparability of Big Government and Big Business – is their stock in trade.
